Positive experience: A good shop apart from the guy with curly hair. He seems a bit clueless, when the rest of them do beard they do it with the headrest separately after doing the hair, this guy just did it all at the same time bending my neck so much and so uncomfortably. He also didn’t even use a blade like the rest of them do and when i asked him to he said he couldn’t as it would ‘cut my skin’. It just ended up looking like something i could’ve easily done at home and not at all a professional barber. For my hair he also only ended up cutting one half of it before i had to again prompt him to actually cut it all instead of just leaving it. Overall if you’re going then make sure to specifically ask to not have the curly haired guy

Negative experience: Feel a bit bad picking someone out individually but I’ve had the older guy a couple times now and had a terrible experience both times. Firstly, I’ve been to this barbers quite a lot over the last year, I like the atmosphere, they’re very polite and nice to you and the place is clean. I’ve tried booking in to see specific barbers in the past but when I’ve got there they’ve just called me to anyone so haven’t done it the last couple times. A few haircuts ago I got the older barber and was pretty unhappy after it as I felt he hadn’t listened to what I asked, but thought I might not have explained what I want very well. This time I got him again, I explained very clearly what I wanted and even showed him a couple pictures. I ended up getting something completely different yet again. I won’t be coming back here now which is a shame because I’ve had some good haircuts in the past here but this guy is so blatantly worse than the other barbers in the shop.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with Shahen. I showed the barber a photo of the haircut I wanted, but he did not follow the reference and ended up doing something completely different. The service was extremely rough and careless. The clippers were used aggressively — scratching my scalp and repeatedly hitting my head. Combing was also done roughly, scratching my skin and even catching my nose, which was very uncomfortable. Hot air from the hairdryer was blown directly into my ears, making the whole experience unpleasant. On top of that, the barber’s hands smelled strongly of cigarettes, which was quite unpleasant during the service. Considering the haircut cost £18, the overall experience was very poor. Overall, it felt more like being sheared than getting a professional haircut. The lack of care, hygiene, and respect for the client’s request was obvious. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place.

Negative experience: Asked for mid skin fade and #5 guard on top . Ended up with a high skin fade and a pushed back hairline . The owner cut my hair , I think his name was Sam and he pushed my hairline quite far back and didn’t realise I had a cowlick and pushed it back which shows his low skill . This is Work from a very unskilled barber and anyone else who has a haircut like me where the hairline is very visible and main part of the trim DO NOT come here . I was cut a month before this one by another guy there . Nothing special and again I asked for a mid fade and was given high . DO NOT visit this shop for a buzz cut or anything where you hair is complicated as they lack high level barbering skills . My hair is straightforward and they messed it up . DO NOT GET CATFISHED by the reviews / nice interior like I did as it is not a good barber because of that . He told me give a review after the trim and he was waiting for me to do it there after I paid but I said I’ll do it when I get back . That’s how they get such high volume reviews as I promise you people who rate their haircut 5/10 will give it 5 stars from the peer pressure or even if they find it 7/10 they won’t give it 3-4 stars but 5 . Horrible . Please consider my experience and your hair before going there !!

Negative experience: Booked with a specific barber, however they just gave me the old guy in there. Shown him photos of what I usually get and he didn’t listen to anything I said. Took my fade so much higher than normal ( months of growing my hair out) just to be chopped off because the barber didn’t listen. Worst beard trim I’ve ever had- left it patchy and different lengths. He did most of the haircut with me turned around in the chair facing the street so I couldn’t even tell how bad the hair cut was. Not happy. Especially when I’m charged £30 for a hair cut- if it’s a good cut I’ll happily pay this, but this was a bad experienced. Not happy at all. The older barber should actually listen to what the customer asks for. Never going back to this place

Negative experience: Have to say majorly disappointed with my son's haircut! Had it done here before and guy did a great job which is why I went back. I even took photo so next time they could see how it was done. So showed the guy the photo,he started fine. Short at the back and sides.When he came to cut fringe he even asked me how short so I said just above his eyes like the photo he saw kind of flicked across! Then I looked away he's cut his fringe straight across mid forehead like a big square!!! One big heavy wonky fringe with no shape at all just square from side to side! When I noticed it was to late! I could see by my sons face he was not happy and there's not much I could do now he's cut it!Then to make it worse starts blow drying it under making it look like a bowl! I Really don't know why he did that and I think he could tell by look on my face it looked awful!! My teen son just wanted to get out of there! Luckily it will grow but mean time stuck with a stupid hair cut! I wish I'd said while there but felt I couldn't plus not much they could do about it! I'm going to have to take him somewhere else to try make it look better? Made me wonder if he was even qualified to cut hair!!! Obviously just didn't listen and that's the problem!

Positive experience: I wanted to rate 5/5 - they’re pretty skilled and know what they are doing BUT - the whole haircut was done in a hurry. i was not given any space to communicate my preferences and the guy just did a quick haircut that he thinks would be ok for me. also, they did not bother to blow the hair off after the cut and i had to walk all the way home with hair all over my face.

Negative experience: To start with, if I could rate them 0 stars I would. Went to the shop on bold street in Liverpool, first experience going to the shop. Showed a clear picture from their instagram of the haircut I wanted and to put it kindly, my hair was butchered. After that 3 other members of staff felt the need to gang up on me in the shop and try and humiliate me by saying I didn’t have the money to pay for the haircut just because I wasn’t paying for the s**t show of a haircut they gave me. I do NOT recommend, such a shame as the reviews online were so great.

First time in my life i have to wear a baseball cap to hide what can only be described as the worst haircut in my life.

Negative experience: Been going here for 2 years used to get incredible haircuts everytime but recently in the past few months I feel like the haircuts have been rushed and specifically the last 2 times I went into detail what I asked for and my information got completely ignored the core barbers in there are still really good but always busy I think the constant new barbers in their have lessened my faith in going. Also using the wrong techniques for hair such as hot hair dryer onto curly hair which really damaged my hair and I’m trying to fix the affects to this day.

Negative experience: Been 3 times now and poor overall experience. Each time I have booked for a specific barber and just been called up to someone completely random each time. The first one was quite good. The second time I was with someone else and was extremely rushed, rough, didn’t even wet my hair and just tried coming out the curls. The third and final one I was very specific that I only wanted a low skin fade and a very small trim to the top. I came in with long curly hair and left with hair only a couple centimetres remaining on top, traumatised. The fade was however good. Each time they have been weird about cash and I’m someone who doesn’t carry cash and prefers to pay on card.

Positive experience: Good place for the usual skin fade, short back and sides but not the best for long hair or layers etc. Helps if you can show a picture as the barber I had spoke little English and I had to gesture how I wanted it cut...tried to explain I wanted my long hair trimmed and thinned out on the sides but result was bad so had change tactics and go very short! Having said that, the short result is really good and looks sharp.
