Fantastic experience: I had a very nice experience today at Stylish Duke aka Michael. Only few people in the Coventry knows how to scissor cut and gives the best cut suitable for your face shape not go usual fade and taper in my opinion. Classic and aesthetic shop he has and it looks expensive but it's really affordable.

I shared this in a previous review, hoping the issue would be addressed. To his credit, Martin later gave me a sincere and apologetic call, which I really appreciated as a kind gesture. He also offered a 50% discount for the inconvenience. On the day of the rescheduled appointment, he even called again to ensure I had the correct directions — that extra effort didn't go unnoticed. Work: I have Asian curly hair, and Martin gave me a brilliant haircut — achieving just the right volume and length for my hair type. It was clear he knew what he was doing. I’ll definitely be going back and would recommend the place to others. Place: The shop is run by Michael himself and has a unique charm, filled with antique artefacts. We had a great chat about old Coventry photographs, some of which are proudly displayed on the walls. It’s a place with character and a personal touch.

Honest Genuine place very skilled Barber that knows his stuff, been using this place for a couple of years now and can't fault it , when you get in that chair you get the best treatment, not like other places that want you in and out and take your money , you get his full attention and he takes pride in his work for sure ! The actual shop is amazing as well , so interesting to look at , like taking a trip back in time with all the classic items inside the shop, cannot recommend this place enough , my son has his hair done in a wicked fade and I go there for a beard style / trim. We live in the next town but its worth the 30mins drive for the service you receive, if you haven't been to this place yet then you need to take a visit!! 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic experience: I was always insecure about my patchy, ragged beard, particularly because other barbers would tell me my situation is hopeless and I should just never go for length. Michael changed that. Not only did I receive the best trim of my life he also showed me how to shape my facial hair at home, what to use and how to cut properly so that my beard grows even. Honestly a lovely, fully professional, kind bloke. You won't find many barbers like this nowadays. Would totally recommend to everyone, especially to the guys who struggle with bald spots like I do.

After trying for several months to get a barber to do my 11 year old son’s hair how he wants it, I now believe we have our go to barber. Proper old school Cov Boy, and he can also cut hair!! Made my son feel as though he was part of his family. Made him feel at ease and gave him the haircut he has always wanted. It was done to a T. My boy was buzzing as it was his prom later on that evening . Mick has the banta to go with been a barber. Also gave my boy one of his products for his hair. Highly recommended. Fantastic experience: I visited Stylish Duke Barber's with my 11 year old son today for the second time. Michael is great, friendly, very professional and welcoming from the moment you step into the barbers. He spoke to my son asking how he wanted his hair which makes my son feel grown up. Michael takes his time and doesn't rush so you get a professional hair cut.

Negative experience: Had a haircut there last year, months ago, waited ages for my turn although I had an appointment scheduled. The staff is nice and you can have a good chat, but becasue of how talkative they are, the appointments take way longer - it is not cool if you are the one waiting for your turn. Decided to post this review months after my appointment, because I have just seen the guy responding to a negative google review saying that he is the most professional skilled barber in the area, or something along these lines. Michael is super full of himself, very self-absorbed, and cannot stop praising himself and how great his skills are compared to other barbers in the area. Needs to get of his high horse and focus on his craft. I am sure there is lots of satisfied customers, their experiences must be very different and I do not take away from that. I am happy threre are people believing in him and supporting his business. Lots of credentials but little backing up in skill, if you ask about my visit. My haircut was not expensive, I was charged less (maybe for a reason?), which was very kind, but there were lots of irregularities on the top that needed to be even out by another barber. Awful fade too. As I do not have pictures of the cut, think of this comment as you will, but I would not get out of my way to spew false reviews. Those with similar experience, know what I am on about. Do not need a justification response whatsoever.

Arriving upon this place I was visited with a smile and welcoming environment slotting me in for a much needed haircut for a wedding today. The interior of the shop was also amazing. The online booking system meant that my little boy was not overwhelmed. The clippers and hair dryer were not too noisy.
