Fantastic experience: Myself and my sons have all been getting our haircuts at this barbers for years now. Very friendly, consistently great haircuts no matter who does it. Always good vibes with uplifting music, decent free coffee and lollipops for the kids. Other great extras include a warm towel to finish. Would definitely recommend!

We weren’t sure what way to have the style haircut we wanted for him to suit him best, but the team were really helpful and guided us to the perfect choice. The lady who cut his hair was brilliant – so patient and gentle. Our little one was fascinated by everything and kept trying to grab the tools, but she handled it all effortlessly. The haircut turned out great, and the whole experience was calm and professional. It’s hard to find a barbershop you can truly trust, especially with young children, so we’re really happy we found The Barber Shop – and it just happens to be our most local, too! Highly recommend. 10/10.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience here. Not only was my haircut poorly done, but I was also cut during the process, which left a noticeable mark on my skin. A haircut should never feel unsafe, and the end result was far from what I expected. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

What a great team! I’ve moved away but I need my hair cut back in Guildford again and won’t go anywhere else!

Negative experience: Due long absence of my barber in Addlestone, I was referred by a friend to this shop with specific recommendation to Pedro. I have shown him a photo of what it needs to be. Instead of being honest if he does not know how to do it, he took the job and ruined a style that took months to be build. And this is not even the worse. He used some chemical (perhaps powder) causing all my skin to become sticky, eventually going into my eyes and inflamating it. I spend the rest of the day, taking bath and using various shampoos and soups over and over again to get rid of this. One day completely ruined and a few months of building again to the style. This is the cost of my visit there. Decide for yourself.

Fantastic experience: My husband has been going since the Barber shop opened 10 years ago and we have always taken our three sons as well. We are always made to feel very welcome and they were amazing with our middle son who was very anxious and always cried. They spent time with him, distracted him, explained what they were doing and let him hold the brush etc this was amazing as he was only a toddler and he soon became used to it. Negative experience: Nasty nasty people. They say they close at 7pm on Friday but as soon as I arrived in front of the the door at 4.55pm (Fri 21st Jan 22) some guy came running across the shop to put closed sign on my face. Whilst everyone in the barber shop was staring at me. I’m not quite sure what just happened or why but one thing comes to mind, which, I’d rather not want to believe! Question above says, how can “The Barber Shop” improve? Let The Barber Shop answer the question instead of me!

Fantastic experience: I have now been to the Barber Shop at least 3 times and every single time I have come away feeling really, really pleased with both the hair cut and the beard trim that Big Diego gave me. He is a real artist and a lovely bloke. The place is always clean and tidy, everyone is very punctual, the telly helps distract and pass the time, the service is great value, you can get a cup of tea and the result is always 100%. Top Marks - I shall continue going there until all my hair falls out!

Negative experience: I am not happy with the service, the hairdresser was very unprofessional and I had to go to another barbershop to fix the bad haircut he gave me, they should put people with experience, for my part I will never return

Negative experience: Very friendly staff but they really need to work on their hygiene standards. Clippers, scissors, and combs are left with the hair of the previous customers when used on your head - let alone be sterilised. Been there 4-5 times and it's always the same - I even was the 1st customer of the day and still the kit was not clean. Such a shame.

Fantastic experience: Going to this barber is a nice experience. You can book in advance so just walk in and you are in the chair. Diego is a good barber. He doesn’t rush and has a good eye for detail. A nice cup of Colombian coffee is offered and a hot towel at the end is a nice way to finish

Fantastic experience: Great place for a haircut, Pedro always delivering great customer service. They can get very busy and the waiting times are long if you go at peak times, best to go in the morning when it's quiet if your lucky. They now offer booking online, which I recommend if its available.

The guys are all super friendly, the quality of service is outstanding, the price for the service is very fair and I’ve never had a bad experience in all my times coming here. Fantastic experience: Best Haircut i've had for a long time. I'm a first year student studying at surrey uni so it was my first time getting a haircut in guildford. I decided to go to the barber shop as it was one of the closer ones to me and seemed good online. I was suprised to see how cheap the haircut was for how long it was said to last on the website, as its much more expensive at home. However I was far from dissapointed with what I got. I was really pleased with my haircut, the barber (diego) seemed really invested in my haircut which I found really comforting. Overall the barber shop is a really friendly barbershop that gives you a great value for some great haircuts, would recommend

Negative experience: Booked an appointment for following Friday, came up as a different date , paid deposit and saw I needed to cancel as couldn’t make same day. Told me can’t get deposit back for same day appointments. What a joke. Just a way to get free money from them. I’ll never use this barber again. Not the first time this has happened
