Fantastic experience: Don't normally review but giving a shout out to Paragon. Hands down best barbers in Glasgow. The vibe is quality and haircuts always top drawer. Personally have had a cut from Jordy, Lewis, Sam and Tommy and each one absolutely brilliant but evident the rest of the team are also masters of their trades. Strongly, strongly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Enquired about some details relating to long hair cutting, they offered great advice and recommendations as my hair was a little too long to be serviced by themselves.

Negative experience: ok haircut a the barbour was friendly however they advertise a 30 min haircut. I was taken after 10am and was out at 10.13. For 35 quid I expected a lot better and nowhere near the standard you'd get from the likes of beardy beardy. Will not be back

Negative experience: These prices are unbelievable. Central barbers are £18 for whatever you want . Nearly £50 for hair and beard . £35 for just a cut

Negative experience: Went in for a haircut and beard trim. Ended up with half a shaved beard. Apparently sharp means less than stubble. But didn’t charge when I said I didn’t like it.

Negative experience: Deadest trim I’ve had in a long time, charged me £42 for a mid skin fade (just the sides) and a beard trim which has turned out to be higher on one side of my face. The whole thing lasted 25 minutes, completely rushed.

Fantastic experience: I've been going into Paragon regularly for a couple of years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Kieran always goes the extra mile to deliver a great cut and a good laugh too!

Fantastic experience: Was in Glasgow foythe day with my family and in need of a haircut , wandered in. I can honestly say it's the best haircut I have had in years. The guy who cut my hair was chatty and easy-going and even my teenage daughter has said that I look better than I have in years!. Will definitely be going back in fact, I am going back to Australia in a couple of weeks and I'm going to make the trip from Peebles to Glasgow to get my hair cut again before I go.

Negative experience: Was recommended and although staff friendly it was basically a small fade and was not even in both sides. Felt very rushed as next client had arrived and was only 1/2 through my hair £35 for 25 mins I would not say is a great experience. Didn’t really feel took time. Had to go to another barber the next day to straighten up the fade as was lop sided and also not blended well. Sorry sadly didn’t have a great customer experience and for £35 should have been way better

Fantastic experience: One of the best barbershop experiences I’ve had. Walk in, get offered a fine whiskey or a beer and then get to chat to a great lad (my case Louis). The plus point on top of the whiskey is that they actually know what they’re doing - and will you through it. Vibes and music are immaculate. And to round it off, a price of around 35£ - it doesn’t get better than that. Make sure you’ve got an appointment here!

Fantastic experience: This is quite a find. Tommy has brought a little Shoreditch chic into the centre of Glasgow. The meticulous way they all interact with their customers is a lovely thing to observe.

Fantastic experience: The staff in here have always been sound. It's a relaxed atmosphere and the barbers know their stuff. Louis was cutting my hair today, I've got really thick curly hair and most barbers have no idea what to do. Louis was confident and relaxed when cutting my hair. He knew how to style it and was clear with instructions on how to maintain it. Honestly this place is worth the money you're in good hands no matter who's cutting your hair.

Fantastic experience: That was my 2nd time going to Louis at Paragon and it was a great service. The first time, I was in a rush and Louis managed to squeeze me in. The atmosphere is so chilled and relaxed. Lewis always does an excellent cut, I can’t imagine going anywhere else now. In fact, I won’t be going anywhere else for my hair. Very reasonable prices as well, if anything they could be increased. I’ve paid much much more in more expensive salons and they’ve not delivered the cut that Louis has or the level of service. I had to take work calls whilst Louis was cutting my hair and he wasn’t bothered and continued to cut. 10/10 would highly recommend.

I went today and I had Louis McLaren sort my hair. I came in with a super overgrown mess of a head of hair and he was excited to get going. He nailed exactly what I asked for. Negative experience: I received quite a poor haircut this time around, even though previously when I went to this barbershop it wasn’t an issue. To begin with, I told the person cutting my hair that I wanted to shorten my haircut a bit, and I explicitly showed how short I wanted it to be, but I suppose the barber just missed that, because I ended up with less than half of my hair left. Because of this I feel like my whole hairstyle was ruined, as I do not wear short length hair. I understand this may be attributed to miscommunication between myself and barber, however, I remember at the very least saying that I like to wear my hair medium length, and what I ended up with was far from medium length. Overall completely unsatisfied, giving 2 stars only for the good experiences in the past.
