Fantastic experience: I have a child who cries alot and does not stay in place while having a haircut. It's always been very difficult to have a haircut for him. Most of the time barbers do not agree to give him a haircut. But I had a great experience at Crown Barber shop as they are highly proficient in their job. They not only did his hair cut in the fastest way possible but also did it perfectly. Specially the lady at the counter, I forgot to ask her name, was very kind and helpful in handling my child. She calmed and soothed him in such a kind way, I really really appreciate her efforts and kindness.

Negative experience: I booked an appointment at Crown Barber Shop specifically with Sajan, but when I arrived he wasn’t even there. The front desk girl kept insisting that I should get my haircut done by another barber instead. That was really frustrating because I chose a specific barber for a reason. If Sajan was not available, his schedule should have been closed instead of wasting customers’ time. I went there expecting the service I booked, not to be pressured into changing barbers. Overall, it was a very bad experience and completely unprofessional. I would not prefer this barber shop to anyone. Please avoid going here.

Negative experience: My son was always getting his hair cut from this place. He never wanted to try anyone else but his last hair cut was so bad that he is now wearing a cap to hide his head. He will never get his haircut again from this place.There are some experts but I have noticed that if you are not booking with some experienced by name then they send you to a new person who is still getting experience even though being a regular customer.

Negative experience: I came in today for a haircut and beard trim. Sajan did my beard. I told him not to use blade but he didn’t listen, he used dry blade and gave me a cut on my face. On top, he lied that it’s just a pimple and tried to cover it up with foundation. Very unprofessional.

Been living in Calgary for around 4 years and kept on changing the barber/salon after trying them twice or thrice as was unhappy with the way my hair were growing as per the hair cut done. Probably i had always been visiting to 1 barber from last decade back home so could not find a good one who could do scissors cut here. I am not saying other barbers are bad, but i was not happy with the hair cut, the texture of my hair post the cut and the way it felt while growing. Mostly everyone is skilled enough to use machines/trimmers but lacked skill set for scissors. Finally, i got the hair cut done here for the first time few weeks back post checking out reviews and realized that now my hair texture is way better and growing almost the same way as before immigrating. I am happy with what Tarun explained, and how he decided to do the cut and how good my hair texture feels now after few weeks and even the way its growing. I don’t use any products or dryer for styling, never had to, and now it feels like the texture, growth and the style is as good as it used to be. Thanks Tarun!!
