Negative experience: Came in for a beard and head trim with Muhammed. I explained what I was looking for and showed an old photo for reference. The service was very quick and finished in about 10 minutes. At first it looked acceptable in the mirror, but once I got home and checked properly, I noticed the beard neckline was trimmed way too high and uneven, and the beard wasn’t reshaped as requested, leaving it looking weird and disproportionately shaped. I was expecting a more relaxed session, but the trim felt rushed and the shave was dry. There was also some awkwardness around payment, as I was told it was cash only and taken to an ATM that wasn’t working, while staff were joking around, which made the situation uncomfortable. Paying $60 felt excessive given the outcome. This place may suit people looking for a fast fade or quick trim, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for a classic beard trim or a more relaxed experience. Edit: I ended up having to trim my beard back completely and start over because it looked ridiculous. A carefully maintained 6-month beard was ruined in seconds, with nothing left to fix. A complete waste of money and time. I can only blame myself for not reading the reviews more carefully and assuming they knew what they were doing.

Fantastic experience: I took my son and myself in for a haircut and couldn’t be happier with the result. My son is usually very particular about who cuts his hair - he’s grown up having his grandmother (a hairdresser) look after him - but he felt completely comfortable here. The barbers listened to exactly what we both wanted, and absolutely nailed it. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Came in before a school formal as I needed someone to deal with my curly hair. I was orginally wary, as barbers in the past have completely stuffed up my hair. I was greeted with a very nice interior and friendly staff. I told my barber 'Ree' (apologies if spelt incorrectly) exactly what I wanted and he blew me away with his precision, attention to detail, and overall care towards my hair. Excellent hair cut, will definitely be coming back.

Negative experience: My partner came home. He wanted a hair cut and a tidy up on his beard but to keep the beard length the same and not to take much off it. The barber did not listen and shaved 90% of his beard in a completely different style he did not want. I am completely upset that the barber did not listen and did his own thing.

Negative experience: I recently took my son to Barber Industries in Wollongong, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience. After waiting to get his haircut, the barber who served us was rude and dismissive. The haircut itself was poorly done – uneven and not at all what we expected. My son asked for a low taper haircut, which he received, but they added an extra charge, claiming it was for an undercut, which is a completely different style. This extra charge wasn’t mentioned beforehand. To top it off, when I went to pay with my card, they told me it was cash only. I mentioned that it would have been helpful to know that in advance, as I could have gotten cash while we were waiting. The barber rudely replied, 'Well, you didn’t ask.' Why would I even think to ask if they take card or cash? Adding to the frustration, the music at the register was so loud due to a speaker right there that I could barely hear myself talk. This lack of communication, poor service, and unprofessionalism were incredibly disappointing. I expected much better, especially for the price. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service or a positive experience.

Negative experience: I was warned to avoid this foul place, i now understand why, the service was abysmal i've seen prisoners treated with more dignity when receiving a haircut. The service was ghastly i asked for a simple 2 to 1/2 fade and they gave me a skin fade, for weeks i was tormented about my filthy trim. The barber was so rough i felt as if the skin was being ripped from my scalp, please heed my warning never visit this place, you will be in Gods hands. P.S. Negative experience: Worst barber experience by far. Not against the business but with one of their barbers. Barber was too harsh when moving my head, he's hurrying like didn't even line up my taper and sides. i was shocked when he said we're done when he didn't even used the razor yet to fade my hair even though I showed him the cut I wanted twice - which is obviously a fade haircut. I have to ask him to do it correctly but he still didn't get it. I'm so pissed but I don't wanna argue and paid. worst experience and will never come back.
