Positive experience: JLo Salon is a famous hair salon in the city because they offer speed, value, and quality. JLo Salon recently moved to a new location, the same place as Kmart, and opposite their old place. There are better seating areas while waiting for a haircut or wash. The new place is very clean and organized. The downside is the new price for haircuts for men. The usual price of 10aud is changed to 16aud to 30aud for men. However, compared to other barbers around CBD this place still provides better service. If you plan to have a haircut or wash, my suggestion is to attend the place in the morning to be not caught up in a waiting line.

Fantastic experience: First, excellent pricing on men's cuts, if you are a guy and need a quick haircut, don't know what to do, come here. Secondly, ask for Joe who is unbelievable with a pair of scissors, see for yourself. Chances are that they can cater to you, would absolutely reccomend.

Negative experience: I honestly would give zero stars if that were an option. This was hands down the most disappointing haircut I’ve ever had. With all the glowing reviews, I expected at least a decent result — instead, I ended up with a rushed, uneven cut that looked more like a DIY attempt than something done by a professional. If you do go, avoid the female stylist with dark hair — I can’t speak for the others, but my experience with her was a total letdown.

Fantastic experience: Jlon salon is the most affordable barber in all melb. Everyone charges 50-60 for just a fade which is mental. Here with a fade and trim it comes out to 35$ and the cuts are always great. Toe cuts my hair every time, super sound guy and always sorts me out with great cuts. Much love to this place and their staff.

Grace listened closely to what I wanted after looking at the photo of the style I was hoping to emulate and in consideration of my hair type and natural wave. Positive experience: Very friendly and accommodating, and very cheap. Got a beautiful layered trim and blue highlights at the ends. Sadly the blue washed out completely after 4 washes (was told it'd be very hard to wash out), but for the price I can't complain too much and I like the blonde highlights that remained so that's okay. Would still come back.
