Expérience négative: Went in last month for a caesar number 2 hair cut. I ended up leaving with a buzz cut SMH she didnt even clean up any of the edges. When my sister seen she asked "who cut your hair" and even confirmed it that my neck, ears, sides were not even cut. pretty dissatisfied and disappointing I've always liked Tommy guns. Makes me second guess them now.

Expérience négative: I am writing to formally complain about an unacceptable experience during my recent visit to your salon. I initially came in for a simple beard trim, as my trimmer had broken. I decided to also get a haircut while I was there. Before booking and again upon arrival, I was explicitly told that all staff were capable of performing beard trims. This representation turned out to be completely false. From the start, communication with my stylist (He was of Asian Decent might I add ) was extremely difficult. He spoke very limited English and made no effort to engage or clarify instructions, creating an uncomfortable and awkward experience. Despite clearly instructing him not to style my hair in a specific way, he did exactly that anyway. The situation became worse when it came time for the beard trim ,the entire reason for my visit. The stylist did not understand what a basic beard trim was. I had to involve another stylist to explain it to him, and even then, he still could not perform the service. By this point, I was visibly upset, especially given that I had been assured beforehand that this would not be an issue. A customer waiting in the salon even commented that they understood what I was asking for, which only highlighted how unreasonable this situation was. This was, without question, the most awkward, frustrating, and unprofessional haircut experience I have ever had. Basic communication, skill expectations, and honesty about services offered were all lacking. I expect this issue to be taken seriously. I would like to know how this situation will be addressed, including what steps will be taken to ensure customers are not misled about particular staff which was of the staff capabilities in the future.

Expérience négative: Paid $40 haircut that was done very quickly, didn’t get the package like shampoo that was part of the package. Wasn’t a good experience

Expérience fantastique: This place might cost a little bit more than a budget haircut place but the experience and the quality is well worth it. my favorite is Mel with all the gold bling. Something about a quality haircut with a quick rinse and a hot towel after I feel like I underpaid

Expérience fantastique: Talk about premium, went in with a free cut card and the rainforest on my head and left looking like a million bucks. Shampoo smelled really good, quite citrusy but not like lemon or lime, closer to tangerine or orange. Guy who cut my hair was really nice and took care to make sure that I was happy with it, almost dozed off a few times because it was so relaxing, only negative was that it was over too quick, would come back

Expérience fantastique: My barber was Mel. I showed him what I wanted and he got it exact. Fastest and most accurate cut ive ever gotten. I highly recommend seeing him! He was fast, friendly and efficient. My only con is to add yourself to the waitlist because theyre pretty busy with walk ins so you'll end up waiting. We arrived at 615 and didnt get in until 7 as walk ins. 10/10

Expérience négative: A kids hair cut. A) the guy never talked or said one word to my son , communication and feeling of comfort and a hang out environment is important. Put something like kids shows on in the mirror tv not some adult crap. B)Took forever for something so basic as a mowhawk , fading was horrible . Was supposed to be included a wash, scalp massage, hot towel, and style. Got none of that .

Expérience négative: We’ve always had great service from the hairdressers here and it’s been our go-to barber shop. Unfortunately, on August 31 we had a really bad experience. The woman who answered the phone was very rude, and when we arrived at the shop, her attitude in person was even worse. She showed no sense of customer service and spoke in a harsh, authoritative way rather than being helpful or polite. If that kind of behaviour continues, I don’t think we’ll be coming back.

Expérience fantastique: I really liked the welcoming right at the reception. The master was pleasant, looked very nice, showed respect and attention, did his job perfectly and very carefully. At the end he offered a drink. Which was also pleasant. The salon also looks modern, and at the same time clean, pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for the service.

Expérience fantastique: I had gone to other places before and was not really happy or they took 40$ to do a 3 second buzz cut. I went into tommy guns with an open mind, and came out with a style that fits me, a style my wife loves. Most places cut your hair and leave, tommy guns guarantee is hot towel service. Hot towel on my neck felt great and was not itchy after. She then washed my hair, shampoo’d and conditioned, dried my hair, styled it, taught me how to style it. Then reccomended hair product that suits me. Reuzels, I am not a big fan of using diglycerides (pig fats), but super impressed that it is infused with Liquid death water, smells great and holds like a sum bish! (Very strong hold is what I am saying) Thanks again for setting me up to look like a million bucks for my wedding. A++ service

Expérience négative: Beware of Ashlee. Asked her not to give him the Lego man haircut, and she NAILED the Lego man haircut. She fought every single thing that was suggested and insisted she knew what she was doing. Never had to argue so much with a hairstylist, especially with pic in hand of the last haircut. Not willing to listen to customers requests at all. Watched other kids walk out with great cuts and zero fighting. Would give zero stars but not an option. Came home and pulled out the clippers and fixed it as best as could be done with a butcher job. 5 stars if you dig Emmett and “everything is awesome” is your theme song. )

Waiting time at noon is less. Offering juice or soft drinks as part of the package is a unique feature. It's good to see the barber educated and trained in their profession.

Expérience négative: Have always gone to Tommy’s, this experience has me questioning that. The haircut was pretty average, no major complaints there. Ben cut my hair. He offered me tons of unsolicited advice on how to do my hair, which I never asked for. He also passive aggressively snapped at me because I moved my head slightly. I simply laughed and waited for it to all be over. I feel like I paid $40 to be his hostage for the hour. Once in a lifetime experience for sure, not recommended. :(

Expérience négative: Went to go with my boyfriend to get his haircut and he came out looking like someone cut his hair blindfolded. There was no proper fade and it wasn’t even. I tried to talk to the front person to get a different barber but they called on the same barber that cut his hair which didn’t even help at all and his hair looks worse than he initially had before he came. I still can’t believe we paid $39 for a haircut that was not done professionally. Will definitely not be coming back with how they handled this situation.

After showing pictures, explaining multiple times how to cut and what type of cut i want still i got the messed up hairs.THB this location doesn’t have trained barbers and still they charge you high prices like i paid $45. She completely ignored my hairline despite it being one of 3 things I requested, left a slightly bald patch above one ear that was not present before, and completely neglected to cut the upper half of one side of my head. This is the worst haircut I have ever had!.

Expérience fantastique: Great experience here. Friendly atmosphere and great staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience as a walk in customer, waited a couple of hours and the called me to let me know that a spot was open and it was excellent all around. Very pleased with the experience.

Expérience négative: Called in the afternoon to make an appointment for a haircut, was told that they don’t do appointments (at a barber shop?), but that I could call about half an hour before I wanted to come in so they’d be prepared for me and I wouldn’t have a long wait time. Called later the same day to let them know 30 mins ahead of time I would come into the location for a haircut, as instructed. I was told the store had been pretty dead all day so things should have gone smoothly. Was told by a different rep that I was “not on the list” and that there was a *50* minute wait time. This was extremely frustrating and a pretty explicit sign of unprofessionalism. All I was offered was to be added to “the list”, which I have no idea why that wasn’t an option in the first place. Little apology, vague explanation of the mishap itself. Is it really so difficult to have an appointment system so I don’t have to wait for ages? I don’t expect to instantly be served, of course — but I also don’t want to play a guessing & waiting game. Really hoped to enjoy getting my hair cut here as I’ve heard good things, but I’ve been severely disappointed.

Expérience négative: I've been to the Rochdale location many times and always had a pleasant and professional experience along with exactly if not super close to what I wanted for a haircut. On my most recent visit to tommy guns I showed a picture of what I wanted and explained how I was growing my hair out for the first time and just wanted a nice fade on my sideburns/sides with the hair on top remaining the same length if not just a VERY short trim. Needless to say I was gut wrenched when I walked out of Tommy Gun's with the shortest cut all around I've had in months. My hair was about 8" long on top beforehand and was about 2" afterwards. Not to mention the uneven cut all across and bald spots. I know things can't be perfect all the time but this has without a doubt been the worst haircut I've ever received. Seemed as if no training was at all given to the individual that had cut my hair. Beyond disappointed and embarrassed of the mess of a haircut I now have. Really disappointed as every other experience at this location has been amazing, but it only takes one disaster...

I ask for a gentlemen’s cut and apparently every barber/hairdresser has their own version and sometimes it looks good and other times I’m embarrassed and where a hat till hair grows back. Expérience fantastique: I just got one of the best haircuts of my life from Jade at Tommy Gun’s. Gentlemen… ask for Jade. Cut a great fade and cleaned up my beard. The shampoo and conditioning was beyond relaxing! I am very thankful.

Expérience négative: Revising my review. Service is going downhill. They give you wait time in place appointment time, then expect the customer to be ready any time if they give you call hours before your wait time. Not worth my time or money any more.

Expérience fantastique: Took my son there to have his hair cut. I am very impressed. The prices are reasonable, the guy did a fantastic job. I will be taking my boys there for now on. I really love how they are open until 9PM. They also call you if they are ahead in time so you can get in earlier. Thank you so much for the fantastic service!!

Expérience négative: They cut the inside of my 6 year olds ear to the point that he bled threw a bandaid, and they forced me to pay for the service. Made a complaint, management called me and never allowed me a chance to speak on the phone. She just talked over me to offer me a "next haircut will be free". I find it ridiculous that management's solution was to pay for a service that resulted with us walking out trying to stop the bleeding, but not to worry because next time we go in will be free. It's a tactic to only get us back and not to make the situation right.

Expérience fantastique: Jade was my hair stylist and she took her time and did an incredible job, I left happy having the best haircut I've had in the last 5 years, and not having to walk away looking like Ellen Degeneres for once
