I asked for a fade and keep the top. But he literally cut off the top hair that I’ve been growing for a long time. Total waste of time and money.

The only thing more impressive than his impeccable skills in the craft of barbery is his vast knowledge and library of Disco music. This haircutting virtuoso could at a drop of a hat pinpoint a hidden gem of a disco track (Denise McCann - Tattoo Man) from his comprehensive collection of music and cue it up for us to enjoy. I can tell that he carries this level of energy, passion and organization in all that he does, and that Eoin probably wakes up everyday looking forward to making people's hair look like a million bucks!

I normally get a fade these days but where each haircut is 15 minutes only and my hair was very long and thick, I went with a military style Number 1. Eoin is quite the character and told stories of days gone by, and asked wonderful questions to some of my stories. Students, this is the place to go for a haircut. Eoin will take good care of you.

But very helpful and understanding was Eoin; managed to direct me and gave one of the absolute best haircuts I have ever had for an incredible price. Expérience positive: Eoin (pronouced Ian) was very friendly. It is evident that he knows exactly what he is doing given his numerous years of experience. He is a lone barber and the shop is not at all pretentious compared to many modern barber shops. You can tell he enjoys what he does; he is very social, something I really look for in choosing a barber. But at the end of the day what matters is the haircut. My only gripe would be the little use of his scissors and reliance more with the Hair Clipper (Buzzer). This resulted in my hair not being texturized as much as I am used to. Although he did utilize the Texturizer Razor to add varying length to some of the hair in the front of my hair. After a few days I grew to really enjoy my haircut and I do plan on coming back. I highly recommend Eoin.

I wanted someone trained as a stylist and not one less trained but that offers tofu unfused lattes rather than good men's cuts. This is the place. Convenient for me but if you are a tourist it is right off the Harbour Walk. Efficient, competent, friendly and extremely reasonable. He doesn't offer skull massages for $40 but gives a very good hair cut and listens to what you want. Your wife/partner can grab a beer nextdoor or shop. Great location.

The owner called me spoke to me about my needs and determined I didn't need a beard trim appointment me beard was included in a haircut! Got to the shop... At the Keith's brewery and was made to feel very welcome for a great cut and chat definitely make an appointment to go it'll be busy especially in the summer. Glad to know I found a new Barber do quickly!!

Eoin doesn't do straight razor treatments, like straight razor shaves and line-ups, but he'll gladly help you with your bushy eyebrows if you need it. He's efficient and fun and professional.
