Expérience fantastique: Best barber shop in barrie! My husband get his hair and beard done by Sam. Sam slays the cut everytime! The whole shop is a vibe.

Expérience négative: I’ve now had this happen twice, so I feel it’s worth mentioning. I booked a “scissor cut” online listed at $60 (1 hour service). The haircut itself took about 25 minutes and felt no different than a standard cut. When I went to pay, I was charged the full scissor-cut price because “you pay for the service, not the time.” I understand pricing is based on service type, but when the cut is completed in less than half the advertised time and doesn’t feel noticeably different from the standard $45 cut, it feels unfair. After tax and tip, it came to about $80 for 25 minutes. The haircut was fine, but the value didn’t match the price. I just think pricing and expectations should be clearer so customers don’t leave feeling disappointed.

Tino and Taxi were my guys for years, and when they moved to the Miami location, I won’t lie, I was hesitant to try someone new. But knowing the Lavish team, I figured I’d still be in good hands. That’s when I got introduced to Sam. After my first cut with Sam, I knew right away I’d found my new barber in Barrie. I went on your website to book an appointment with my usual barber Vito. when I saw the name Jessica with the title apprentice by her name. When I clicked on her name I noticed that the haircut was free. I was skeptical at first but I decided to give her a chance thinking if worse comes to worse I would just cut the rest of my hair off . When I went to the appointment after work I was greeted right away as always with a friendly smile and welcoming hello from a couple of the barbers I knew from past experiences. When Jessica came out to the front to come get me for my haircut she was very friendly and welcoming. When I told her what I would like done and then I asked her for her opinion, and with what she suggested I liked it and went with it. As she was cutting hair she was very kind and sweet and when she wasn't sure if she was doing it right she asked for advice from soul about it, when she was more comfortable on what is needed advise for she was on point. We had a friendly conversion while she was cutting my hair . And when it was done I was really impressed by her work and how it turned out. Yesterday we went to Starks in Barrie, they completely screwed up his hair, he was so devastated, they offered to fix it, but my son flat out refused to go back...we drive by Lavish at least 4 times a week, and I didn't know enough about you to go in there, so we booked an appointment with fingers crossed, went in today, and not only was his barber (Andy) an amazing guy, absolutely amazing barber, but everyone in the shop was friendly, and the experience was great – we should have gone to Lavish sooner. Needless to say Starks has just lost my son as a client, most likely myself as well and my other younger son. The before and after photos we took are night and day (my son doesn't want me to post them on Google 'cause of the before shots) - and honestly if everyone saw what the previous place did they would throw up. Anyways, guys, thank you so much for not only fixing my son's bad cut, but restoring his confidence and bringing back his smile, and on top of the fix, giving him the cut of his life... There were a lot of great reviews, and I can honestly say I was NOT disappointed! I booked an appointment with Vito for a fresh cut, and felt like a new man by the end, walking out of that chair! This place has a great vibe, with professional, friendly barbers. I would highly recommend Lavish to anyone who is looking for their new favourite barber!

Expérience fantastique: Today I thought I would try a different barber shop then the one I usually go too. I googled ones around me and found lavish. My barber was Vito... and man can I tell you he did not disappoint one bit. This has been the best mid fade iv ever had in my life. I will be coming back and going nowhere else again. This has become my new barber. Hands up to Vito!!
