Experiencia negativa: As an asian man I find it extremely difficult in general to find someone who can cut my hair right. Saw a whole bunch of 5 star reviews for montez so I figured I'd try him out. I don't know much about hair so I wasn't really able to guide him to what I wanted exactly, but my end result was not good. First off, my appointment started 20 minutes late, which is fine, I get it, I took it as thinking it was because montez took extra time to get his haircuts right, but this was not the case for me. As there was a walk in waiting to go after me, I felt like my haircut was rushed. Everytime montez asked me what else I wanted different I couldn't tell him exactly what because I'm not a professional, but I knew it didn't look right. Eventually I just told him it looks good and called it and now unless I work some magic with hair products my hair looks like this (see pic). And there's uneven bits of longer hair all around my head.

Monteze has been cutting my hair for about a year now and has been doing an awesome job. The attention to detail is top notch and it never feels like he's in a rush to get you in and out fast as possible like some other places. I will be getting married soon and of course I called Monteze to get me right. Highly recommend Monteze and this shop!

Having done such great work with my son (5) and my nephew (18), I feel confident that his work on my upcoming appointment will exceed my expectations as they have multiple times over! Update: My expectations were indeed exceeded. Razor shaving a bald head in a way that respects the skin is a talent. The difference between shaping a beard in a way that looks maintained and not manicured is literally a fine line. “My barber” understands both and delivered the service with just the right personal touch.

They truly deserve recognition for their talent and dedication. Unfortunately, management has not treated them with the same level of care. For the past two weeks, these barbers have been forced to work without air conditioning. Not only does this make for an uncomfortable experience for the barbers and clients alike, but it also reflects poorly on the business’s priorities. The barbers keep this place running and deserve better working conditions. If management invested as much in supporting their staff as the barbers invest in their craft, Renaissance Groomin would be unmatched.

Ladies and gentlemen, when you’re doing your research, make sure you scroll a little further down before choosing your person. About a week ago, I decided I wanted to cut my hair after some heat damage, and since I didn’t have the patience to go through the motions , I began looking up barbershops. That’s when I came across Renaissance and kept seeing people mention the well-known Jordan. I decided to give them a call, and to my surprise, Jordan himself picked up the phone. He was available right away for a consultation, and from the very start he was polite, personable, and welcoming. He kept communication open throughout the entire process and even asked for my input on the style I wanted, making sure it suited my head shape and overall look. On the day of my cut, I felt extremely comfortable as if I had known him already. That’s something I’ve rarely experienced in barbershops, but this time was different. It truly felt like a blessing, and I’m so thankful to have met such a wonderful individual. Jordan’s work is filled with love and passion, and it shows in the way he carries himself and his craft. I just want to sincerely thank Jordan, and may God continue to bless him in every way. He will always be my number one choice, and I’ll gladly recommend him to anyone whether it’s someone looking for a barber or one of my girls wanting to start fresh with a new cut.

My husband is like a purring cat and luxuriates in the sensory experience as Jordan applies the hot towel. Jordan takes care of all of those aspects that make a man look put together. More importantly, Jordan treats my husband with kindness and respect. Even though my husband goes to Jordan, I would recommend any one of the barbers at Renaissance Grooming Lounge. Most of the other customers are much more fashionable and much younger than my husband. I am very grateful that Jordan provides such a wonderful experience for my husband.

Experiencia negativa: Came in with medium length hair and asked for a taper and they convinced me that what I wanted was a fade. Stressed over and over i wanter it blended smoothly with the sides. Anyway, they took the 3 and brought it all the way up to the top of my head over the crown and left a thin strip of long hair on the top/bangs so now I have a crazy undercut with an uneven scissor cut on top. I have buzzed hair directly next to hair that is ~4 inches long with no transition. Certainly top 5 worst haircuts of my life and pretty bummed I’ll need to grow it out for several months to get enough hair back in those areas for the cut I had before

Experiencia negativa: Super shady, dishonest management and apparently the owner doesn’t care??? “Bam” no call no showed for an appointment and I got no apology, no explanation, no discount but boy did Micah sure charge me $50 for a “no show” appointment that I never booked while my brother was dying from cancer at the hospital. This is the most unprofessional atmosphere I’ve ever seen. The “manager” charges me $50 for appointments every that never start on time, and continues to be on his airpods with his girl the entire cut? You raise your price from $35 to $50 and I can’t have *20 minutes of undivided attention*??? This place is a joke and I plan to do everything I can to get it shut down for fraud. Absolute joke. Reached out to the owner and guess what?? No response. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE THEY ARE SHADY.

The other barbers are unprofessional in their conduct towards women and say they are willing to cut Kids hair but then talk badly about kids and make the environment completely uncomfortable. I was excited the first time I came here but after multiple appointments where other barbers, specifically Jordan, treated my family with disrespect, I’ve decided to spend my money elsewhere and others should as well.

Didn't question the person cutting if it was her first day, but wouldn't go back. There's a few others there that seemed to know what they were doing, so book with them!

I'll say, I was shocked at the uncleanness throughout the shop. Every where I looked it needed to be cleaned. The shampoo bowl was gross. Just sorely surprised at the uncleanness in the shop.

Experiencia negativa: Paid for a level 2 cut with “add razor”, I’m not sure if I got a student or if he was a licensed barber but either way it was a terrible hair cut. The fade turned out great but when he trimmed the top of my head he cut the hairs at inconsistent lengths. I’ve got a couple of patches that were cut way too low and then a couple of spots that were missed so they are long. My wife laughed when I got home and said I have bird hair….needless to say I went to a different barber and they cleaned me up. I also never got the “add razor” upgrade I spent $5 for.
