Experiencia fantástica: Andrea R. absolutely killed it. She took the time to truly understand what I wanted and delivered exactly what I envisioned in my head. I walked out of the place feeling like a million bucks! lol She asked thoughtful questions, assessed my hair texture and cowlicks, and made sure the cut would work with my natural growth pattern. She is professional, funny, personable, and incredibly skilled. She even went out of her to give me one of the best straight razor lineups I've ever had! She’s not just talented, she’s someone who clearly takes pride in her craft and represents the shop at a high level. Whether you're looking for a new barber or once in a lifetime experience, I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Andrea, her attention to detail and level of care is something you don't see often. I will definitely be back lol

Experiencia negativa: My original haircut at this location was so bad that I had to call and speak with the manager afterward. To her credit, the manager was very gracious — she issued a refund and promised that a new haircut would fix the issue. I recently relocated to Dallas, so to avoid any confusion, my regular barber back home provided photos of my previous haircut to show exactly what I wanted. I brought those photos with me and clearly explained the request during my second visit, which was meant to correct the first cut. Despite this, the stylist only cut the sides and refused to touch the top at all, even though it was clearly part of the style shown in the photos. This was not a misunderstanding — it was a refusal. This experience showed that this shop does not follow the direction of the customer and instead does what the stylist wants. Refusing to complete a requested haircut, especially during a corrective appointment, is unacceptable. While I appreciate the manager’s professionalism, the service itself failed twice, and I will not be returning.

Experiencia negativa: Let me say this I take responsibility as a black guy who knew better than to go to a chain barbershop for a cut but damn, this dude didn’t even try. I was in his chair for 14 minutes. I’ve never had a cut end in 14 mins so you can only guess the lackluster, no attention to detail, no heart that went into this cut. My guy didn’t even once put a brush to my hair. On top of that the way he behaved with the liners on my head should be considered criminal and I get some barbers are comfortable cutting a certain style of hair but either say that or here’s an idea try. My head is so easy, I told him wave length no fade no taper and line my mustache which he didn’t do. I asked for straight gentlemen’s cut and he was anything but one. He had no interest in making me a loyal customer and I’m fine with that.. But Barbers are like doctors and the first rule is: DO NO HARM. Man I never leave reviews and if I do it’s at request and it’s one of praise. I know service—I AM SERVICE. So I know when someone is giving me a shady raw deal. I won’t name names, but my guy find some class and do better. I would have been ok if I didn’t like the cut but knew that you at least tried.

She was literally amazing and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it! Due to school staring so soon and daycare closing I had to bring my son along with me and she was so understanding and patient with my situation. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a fresh cut! She listened and understood everything I wanted and had reasonable prices. I got so many compliments after leaving from the barbershop and Will definitely be returning!! Thank you so much for making me feel confident within myself! Can’t wait to return!!

Experiencia negativa: I wouldn't recommend getting a haircut from the lady with short hair/bowl cut. I requested for a taper fade, she didn't know how to do I asked for a low fade instead. A couple of minutes in begins to cut all around the sides rather than a low fade and says she was just tracing over what the person before cut instead of what I requested. If you genuinely can't cut a certain hair style just admit it so someone else can.

I am very sensitive on the back of my neck and usually the barbers never apply anything but Carina applied alcohol to make sure it doesn’t cause any issues for me. She was great and took her time with my haircut. She was very understanding of my request for a hair style and made sure the length was at my satisfaction. I am glad I went here to get my hair cut and paid the money for the best haircut I have received. I will definitely be going back as a regular to make sure I keep getting the same satisfaction.

Lucas always does a great job with my hair and has great recommendations for styling options. He is also very detailed, which is uncommon at this price point. He switched to this location and I made sure to use this store so he could keep cutting my hair!

No calls received for change in appointment time. The answer received was .. we don’t know what happened. It shows 3:00 pm in the system.

Carina went out of her way to make me feel comfortable with the transition from long hair to my new chemo friendly buzz. I will always be grateful to Carina for her skill and thoughtfulness.

Experiencia negativa: This location and Anthony apparently don't understand how an appointment works. I arrive at 9am for my cut and get checked in. I waited for a few minutes for Anthony to come out but after 6 minutes, nothing. My time is too important to waste sitting around because this place doesn't care about its customers. Go to the Floyd's a couple miles down the road on McKinney. Their service is immeasurably better.

Experiencia negativa: Had an appointment with Anthony on 09/21/2023 at 10am. I did not asked to be cut with the clippers. I’ve never posted a google review in my life but this one felt needed. I’ve struggled finding a good barber for years and I’ve been loyal to Floyd’s for the past 2 years this past August. I’m going to have to find another place after today.

Experiencia negativa: I got probably one of the choppiest haircuts I’ve ever gotten from one of the barbers here today. She assumed I was trying a new hairstyle but i came in for a basic haircut. I.e. make my hair shorter of what it already is. She said, “what you’re trying to do is something we should’ve kept at the length you came in today.” What??? I’ve gotten the same haircut for a few years and never had anyone struggle on such a basic cut. She’s just obviously not good at what she does.

Got it done with Anthony and I asked him to get it cut short on the sides and back but that my hair if cut too short, will rise and on the front to cut it slightly short. The guy just uses a hair clipper and goes up and down real high on the right and on left only a little and not once did he use scissors. The left and right don't match, the right is too short that hair on right side rises up in the air and left side has strands of hair that are too long. I can't believe I paid even $5 for this. What did I walk into? A barber training session for beginners? This is the worst haircut I've ever got in my life and I'm usually not a guy who cares about haircuts. I am actually going to have to go to another barber shop tomorrow and try to salvage this.

Experiencia negativa: It’s disappointing to see a corporate company like Floyd’s lose so many of their best barbers because they don’t seem to value the people who actually make them successful. I used to think Floyd’s was the place to go, but lately, there’s been a noticeable shift in how they treat their employees. You can feel it just by walking in — the atmosphere has changed, and everyone seems unhappy. It’s unfortunate to see what was once a great spot lose its spark.

The last time after the haircut, I was making payment and literally all the employees ran to the front desk to try to see my personal info. I paid with cash and they all sighed and went back to their stations. Kinda creepy. The haircuts were so-so at best, a bit rushed and overpriced for the quality they provide.

I see people come after me, finish their haircut and leave and I’m still sitting waiting for my turn. They won’t even bother to apologize about the delay or update on how long you will wait. By the way, they weren’t even busy today and their service is this horrible!!

I've checked in at my appointment time both times - once I waited for 20 minutes and yesterday I waited for 30 minutes then walked out. Why take appointments if you aren't going to honor them?

Experiencia negativa: Been here about 3 times since moving to Dallas. Hit or miss but mostly miss (3 separate barbers). Stay away from guy with red dyed hair. Butchered haircut and didn’t really speak English so was impossible to communicate, rough on head and just rushed through it. Wouldn’t recommend if critical haircut needed or not willing to roll the dice with who you get.

Experiencia negativa: Went to them i ask for a mid fade with a beard trimmed and edge up first they tell me i have to wait 2 hours while they are just seating around i come back 45 minutes later they call me i told the guy I wanted a mind fade with a beard trimmer and edge up. This dude had me facing away from the mirror and when i get home i notice he messed up my head he took my mid fade and turned in to something higher them a high fade and then he doesn’t bother to fade it. Experiencia negativa: I just went here as I needed a good haircut before an important work conference and was pretty specific on what I wanted, 3.5 inches on top and 2 inches on the sides. The guy I hade gave me a #2 fade instead which threw off the entire haircut. I will give 2 stars because what he did was good but not what I specified or wanted at all. I was facing away from the mirror the entire time as well so I could not even see what was happening. Also staff could have been nicer.

Then received the worst hair cut I have had in a long time. Fade is completely different heights on the side of my head from side to side. Weird uncut hairs sticking out everywhere. I am tempted to go back and ask for my money back its so bad.

Experiencia fantástica: Allandra H always gives me a great haircut and so does Matty in the front!! I highly recommend this location because there are so many talented barbers in one shop. It’s great to know that if by chance my preferred barber is on vacation or out sick then there’s always someone else I can use and get a very good haircut.

Experiencia negativa: Barber was in a rush and left random long hair around my ears. After 2 times trying to correct it I went to the McKinney location to get it fixed. Gave them a second chance, booked online only to arrive and them tell me they didn’t have the appointment with the barber i requested so they would “fit me in” with someone else. Then he cut my hair and wanted me to wait for 15 min to then have someone else do my beard. Their mistake then they act like they’re doing you a favor by fixing it. 0/10 would not recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I am typically very laid back where my hair is concerned. All I typically request is that my hair not be cut too short. I am extremely near-sighted and can’t see very well when my glasses are off. I decided to check this place out because I like the one In Fort Worth. My stylist was nice, but I discovered once I put my glasses on that she had given me the shortest haircut I have had in a long time. My hair looks look it was 95% done in a buzz cut style. I feel like a high school kid from the 90s the went to Great Clips. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this location.

Our conversation left me feeling as if we were old friends from way back. He was very personable and seemed so genuine and not to mention, he gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had.(cowlick and all) My only regret is that I live 3 hours away. It was definitely an outstanding experience for this "out of towner".

I asked the lady over the phone if they can do a military flat top or also known as a High and Tight. She asked her stylists and said only one of her stylists did one a very long time ago, and she can try if I fell comfortable enough with that. I explained that I am not, but I appreciated her time. She apologized to me over the phone, and truly sounded disappointed she couldn't help me. I'm saying all of this because years ago I had a similar situation at an entirely different barbershop, but they said they could do it with no problem... THEY LIED. They just wanted the business and money. I respect the fact that Floyd's said they could not do the job. That shows integrity and honesty in a company and their employees. Best wishes to Floyd's.

I use to go to Great Clips but after 3 botched haircuts I need a little more TLC with the clippers. It is worth the little extra money you would normally try to save .

He was called in about 5min ofhis arrival before me that had been waiting approximately 25 to 30 min. My shadow will never again darken your doorstep .
