Experiencia negativa: I walk in here and have twice the amount of hair as in reference photo one. This photo is what I said I want my hair length to be. All I asked was for him to trim my hair to be the length in the the first pic which was a full video showing all the way around my head. The second pic is what I get after the drunk barber who doesn’t speak English finished. The finished hair isn’t even the same length, and I have to go get another hair cut before I have a work conference in two days. I keep my hair long to cover an issue with my ears. Now that’s completely out of the window. It feels like he intentionally did the opposite of what I showed him. This place is an absolute joke. They cannot cut Caucasian hair.

Experiencia negativa: Would do 0 if possible. The Barber drank a shooter of Tito’s and proceeded to give me the absolute worst haircut of my life. I shows him several reference pictures of myself before, he literally did the exact opposite of what I showed him. I stopped him mid cut and asked why it was so far off, he doesn’t speak English so just proceeded to mess my hair up further. It was completely uneven, had to go pay another barber another $35 to fix it because they said the guy made it so extremely uneven he had to essentially completely shave my head and re start. I do not wear short hair, I told him to trim me up, he cut all of my hair entirely off the entire way around. They can’t cut white hair here don’t waste your money. And they charge more than the pricing online. I’ve never left a barber a $0 tip before, but I wouldn’t have paid a dime for his god awful cut if I didn’t have to.

There aren’t many in the Ballantyne area that cater to ethnic hair/hairstyles. I needed a nice haircut for an interview. I’m glad I came here. I received a haircut and beard trim. The beard trim came with a facial/ hot towel treatment. I wasn’t expecting all of that. But it was great. D Kache has a new customer.

Juan has been my barber and set my appointments early for 7:30am on Saturdays and he’s never late and he did such a great job on me that I have in scheduled to cut my hair every 2 weeks! Experiencia negativa: 1st there was the language barrier but not a big deal my regular barber speaks no English so this is not an excuses. I was charged forty dollars for a haircut I could have done in mirror at home. Which was over the prices on the board for services. My Barbar kept stopping to talk to people just randomly hanging around shop or comming in and walking into back (shady). He wasn't focused on cutting my hair and did the complete opposite of what I told him (he spoke perfect english) and by the time I could tell him he was wrong, it was already cut because he had me faced away from mirror to talk to some guy laid back in middle of shop, so I couldn't tell what he was doing so I politely told him it looked fine got up and was over charged and I still tipped, so 40 dollars for haircut i didnt want plus a tip. The barbar gave off the vibe of being unpleased to cut a white guys hair, you would of had of been in my position (Black,White, Brown) but if you have ever been there you know what I'm talking about. The owner or manager was very nice greeting me and maybe dealing with him this review would be diffrent but as for experience with barbar and how the place was ran, It was like I was in a nightclub getting a haircut and I'm a really care free person but don't over charge and under preform. Focus all that energy on training your employee's. There where more people setting and hanginh put than customers or barbars. There are plenty of other barbershops on south boulevard so I'm in luck. I just don't want to see somebody go in there and get greeted with a Friendly smile and handshake and then get taken for their money.

Experiencia negativa: I usually have a great experience but sadly this wasn't so. I brought my 3 boys to get a haircut and they messed up 1 of my boys head. They didn't even say anything and even let me pay for they mistake. After noticing right after I left yes I was upset but decided that the bike spot would grow back and all is well. Ha it's been a month and a half because I wanted to let my son's hair grow back but the spot is still extremely noticeable. So this isn't a quick upset post but one that was given time in hope the problem would fix itself but guess WHAT it didn't.

Experiencia fantástica: I had two experiences today: one with a cut for my mixed-race son whose curly hair requires skill and knowledge and his barber nailed it. Unfortunately I can’t remember who it was as he was a sub for the random last-minute online booking I made so that we could be seen on time. (Also, huge bonus. No waiting and an amazing receptionist.) But my even better experience was with another barber (Luis, I believe.) and the owner Nicolas. My younger son is terrified of haircuts. He has sensory issues and is panicked about clippers and razors. In the past, I’ve been asked to restrain him for haircuts. Today, Nicolas stopped me from restraining him and told me “no, that will only make him more scared when he comes in here. We will teach him that this is ok.” They were both so patient, calm, knowledgeable and made both me and my son feel less anxious about the entire experience. My son even stopped crying- a first for us. And then, in the end, he told me we were welcomed back and next time would be easier. And the time after that, even better. He also refused to charge us full-price because (due to my son) he was unable to fully perform the cut to their standards. Nicolas, you have two new loyal clients for life.

Experiencia negativa: Updated, August 25, 2024 I wrote this review about 1 year ago. A few months later, I took my son back for a haircut. The woman at the counter asked if I had an appointment, I said no and she said "next time, to try make an appointment because then you won't have to wait so long". I said, "Okay, yes, I can do that." We sat and waited for the barber and he did a really nice job on my son's hair. When I was going to pay, the woman said "maybe you should find someplace else to get his hair cut because it might be more convenient for you". I've not had any issues or disagreements with anyone, I don't know why she said that, but I have not returned to this business and I will not visit them again. I do recommend this business.

Depend on who cuts your hair 90% of time great or above great the 6-7 times I've been have been great but this last time was kinda horrible I get my haircut the guy cuts way to low even when I said 6 or 7 now I have to regrow then times comes to pay I've been here 6-7 times I usually pay through zelle or cashapp cause it's easier and tbh i don't carry money so I assume they all took it he complains a little see i can acknowledge i should check with other barbers first to see if they all take same type of pay this guy cut my hair but the problem Is this i paid 35$ now I'm okay with that trust you guys deserve it but this one guy gave me the weakest cut their and that's the highest I've ever paid I would give 35$ to the normals i get in a heartbeat but this guy did average at best work for 35$ and had an attitude I can't bear to give you guys 1 star because theirs to many hard workers in that build but I do have to take one off just because of that interaction In short i love your shop but be careful of who you let work their alot of attitude and the weakest haircut don't add up But everyone else is great or atleast everyone I've went to i felt great their until this day kinda threw me off probably not gonna go for a while
