Experiencia negativa: Terrible service. I had an appointment and was told the stylist was caught in traffic and would be there shortly. Twenty-five minutes later, after watching another employee play on their phone for a while, I asked if someone else could cut my hair and was told no. This has happened multiple times—they’ve been late for my appointments, yet they make you wait and/or charge your card if you’re late.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in for a quick trim. Told her EXACTLY what i wanted. She cut off 70% of my hair. I did not ask for that and I was very clear on what I wanted and she did whatever she wanted anyways. Ive been growing my hair out for a year and now its the shortest haircut ive ever had.

Experiencia negativa: Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. I showed a picture of my haircut that I normally get, but the result was nothing like what I asked for. The sides were not blended at all, the haircut was very rushed, and what I received ended up looking like a military flattop. 38 dollars before tip for a rushed and poorly done haircut is outrageously overpriced, will not be returning.

Experiencia negativa: I got my hair cut here and the experience was not great. I wanted a fade on the sides and she did not do a very good blend. Then I asked her to take the fade to a 0 and she charged an extra $10 to then completely shave the sides of my head. She also kept manhandling my head in uncomfortable ways to get my head into various positions. Overall, I would not recommend going to this salon!

It had a Greenville vibe to it if you’re in the area or living area and you need a haircutthis is a place for you.

And honestly i do not believe that the amount that i paid(38$) vs the service I received was anywhere close to equal. The barber shop i usually visit provides a normal haircuts, beer, hair rinse and shampoo plus massage for 40. I will say this barbershop was nice and very well put together but I would be nervous coming back. I guess thats why they say to never cheat on your barber . My barber/stylist was great i just think there could be improvements on whats included on a basic haircut .

Fred does a great job and will have my business moving forward. Update: After a few visits, had to remove a star today. I show up to my appointment on time, and see my barber with a client, nothing unusual. The crew checks my name and acknowledges me, and tells me that Fred will be right with me. 10 min passes, apparently they are behind and there are still people ahead of me and they don’t know how long it will take. A heads-up via a call or when I get in would be nice.

Experiencia negativa: I am really frustrated that the barbers here cannot do scissor cuts. I have let my son's hair be butchered for the last time. They do a fine job if you get clipper cuts, beware of getting a scissor cut here though.

Experiencia fantástica: I had originally written a 1 star review but decided to delete it after the absolute professionalism displayed by both the owner Aaron and barber Fred to fix my hair cut. Thank you to Aaron for promptly contacting me to figure out a way to resolve the issue and a huge thank you to Fred for taking the time out of his Sunday for fixing and apologizing for something that wasn’t his fault which is why I tipped him. Going forward Fred is my guy.

To me, and maybe this is wrong, but they should post more examples of what specific barbers are doing to give you a good foundational feeling. But I was needing a barber with my former moving and finally came in and sat with James and now I've got a new place and barber. Beautiful shop, really cool atmosphere and James nailed my hair and beard. Came in with only a rough picture and he took itvl and executed perfectly tailored to my head and face. Highly recommend

Experiencia negativa: OVERBOOKING! The decor is nice; the cuts are good; the staff is rather unfriendly (with a few exceptions). I went to the Charlotte/Waverly location 4 times. Twice they had long delays (30mn+), despite having an appointment (early appointment at 10am, taken over the phone less than 45mn prior - how can you justify such delays?!). Moving on to better options!

Experiencia fantástica: When reading this review, obviously it's worth bearing in mind that 'V's barbershop' has multiple barbers, so the review has two parts. The barber that cuts your hair and the overall vibe of the shop. Fred was 1st class and I would recommend him. The shop is very cool and every cut I saw while I was there, including the kids, looked like it belonged. I'm a regular visitor from NYC, so know my barbershops. Try this place.

Experiencia negativa: Took an appointment to get my kids' haircut today, haircut was decent but observed customers was treated differently, like some attented immediately and offered water while some of the customer's were still waiting to be checked in, felt like it was preferential based on....(you know). I'm just putting it out there. This was our 3rd visit, may be will give another chance and see not sure.....

This was her first time cutting our hair, and I liked that she asked a few questions along the way which showed she cared and wanted to give us the best cuts possible. Didn’t do what he asked, pretty uneven cut, not faded correctly at all. Second time he’s been, extremely disappointed.

I'm super picky about who trims my beard as i keep it a bit longer than most, but she always keeps it clean and fresh looking and I know I never have to worry. They really make you feel at home and relaxed at V's! I recommend to anyone and everyone I talk to!

Great atmosphere and you can tell that employees enjoy each other. The hot towel post shave and the razor neck shave were an added bonus. Went next door afterwards to a real cool coffee shop and enjoyed a perfect latte.

My husband regularly gets his haircut by Sarah, but we saw another lovely lady who ended up giving my son a perfect short cut as he requested I believe it was $26 for a kids cut(?). They say they accept walk ins but are typically booked out so I would recommend calling ahead to schedule your appointment! The inside was a cute design, it felt and looked like a traditional barbershop…a little like you were stepping back in time, but yet it felt new. We will be going back!!

If you’re a shy person, you won’t be by the time you leave her chair with a smile from ear to ear. The quality of the head shave and bread trim was A++, leaving me with a baldy smoother than Michael Jordan. Shontella work station as well as the barbershop is very clean and the staff very professional. I definitely will be back.

I walked in for my scheduled appointment. I was greeted by Sarah right away and sat down immediately - no wait. Sarah was very detailed with the cut and made it a point to ensure that every detail was addressed. She made suggestions and was patient to genuinely answer questions. The shop has a cozy, comfortable and chill feel to it. A great experience. I am definitely making it a point to go back for another cut.

Taking away a star for two reasons. 1., They now make you give a credit card just to make an appointment, and 2., nobody gives the post-haircut massage anymore. This place is fantastic. A real barbershop giving great haircuts with all the niceties like neck shaves, hot towels and massage. Highly recommend!
