Experiencia fantástica: Followed my barber to his New barber shop. I've had my hair done by Chad and Michael and they do a stellar job. They hire top notch guys and they do a great job. The shop itself is beautiful. It's open and spacious and very homey. Comfy waiting area with power recliners so you can come early, grab a complementary drink, and watch the game while you wait. It's an homage to the classic old school barber shop. I'd give out six stars if I could. If you're new to the barber shop scene or if you're looking for a change of scenery, this is the place to be -I need to come back and update my review. I moved away from OKC early in 2023, I was never able to find a barber that I trusted after I left. My first time back to OKC in early April of '24, I made a point to come see Michael Arms because I know he takes pride in what he does and will give me that quality cut. Fell right back in like I never left and the atmosphere was exactly the same as I had listed above. Only thing that changed seemed to be they gained years of experience. I'm updating this in early July '24 and haven't had anyone touch my hair in the 2 months post cut, and I'm still getting compliments on my hair from people thinking I've just had it redone. Makes me sad that I can't realistically recommend midtown to people here in Chicago because of the distance, or that I can't go back more often for myself. Thanks Michael and Midtown Barbers!

Moreover, Chad helped me in my divorce and deliver my first baby in the burning building. I hope to be half the man that Chad is. Service was amazing even got one of the boujee head massages.

Experiencia fantástica: Midtown Barbers is a great atmosphere and customer service for your haircuts, beard trims and shaves. It's a legit Barber Shop. They've got beverages here and some snacks for the customers along with the decor of history and modern day barbers. The recliners for the waiting area are very comfortable and their German shepherd sits there with guests, very calm and behaved. I moved back to OKC a year or so ago and have been seeing Halen as my barber for a few months before my wedding just to get aquatinted since everyone knows how hard it is to find a great barber who cuts your hair the way you like and doesn't up and disappear. He's been great and I highly recommend him myself. This Barbershop has Family and friends working here. I can really appreciate that and also knowing Halen or anyone else is not going to be leaving anytime soon. We have always had great conversation and great customer care. Communication has been outstanding and the understanding when things happen makes it even better from both ends. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Barbershop to anyone. They even have a great online site that you can book and modify your appointments so get on there and make your appointment now.

Experiencia fantástica: Best barbershop around, unequivocally! The barbers on staff there are all family or friends to each other and you can feel it in the air. I'm bald so I go there for a beard and mustache trim with a straight razor line up. Colston is my guy but they all have phenomenal skill and technique. The atmosphere is a cross between an old school barbershop and a gentlemen's club. Get there a little early to enjoy the leather seating, a glass of whiskey, and great conversation.

I was happily getting my usual haircut/beard trim and was subjected to some extreme language and divisive talk. The country needs to heal at this time, and conversation of this kind does NOT help bring people together. One of the barbers had the absolute nerve to say that Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker is a "cinematic masterpiece". To add insult to injury, he then went on to say that Jar Jar Binks was a "good character." WHAT KIND OF SOCIOPATH SAYS THIS?!? So if you want to be subjected to this kind of ridiculous conversation COME ON IN. *** Unparalleled! I've known Chad for a few years now and, without a doubt, he's my go-to for a haircut and beard trim. I've been asked by many of my friends (both the facially hairy, and ladies) where I go, and I tell them Chad is the only man in OKC who may trim this mess I call my face.

Experiencia fantástica: To start out, I’m really not too concerned with the “experience” of a haircut; I’d get my hair cut in a dark basement while the barber used night vision goggles if it meant the cut itself was halfway decent. However, this place has an awesome atmosphere. The guys who work there are really cool, and while I can’t speak to the skill of all of them, Halen is a wizard with a pair of shears. I’d imagine the rest are just as good. To me, this place is the no-brainer place to get your hair cut if you’re in the OKC area.

The owner did the work straight razoring with all the delicious smelling accoutrements...bald head and a beautifully shaped beard later we were ready to go. It's pampering for guys...hot towels (are not just for softening that coarse hair) and on site products used and for purchase. It was a wonderful experience.

It was a last minute schedule but Colston got me taken care off and did an outstanding job. I am very picky with my hair and facial hair and when I am in Oklahoma City this is where I will be going when I need a haircut and or shave! Experiencia fantástica: I only review if the service is really great or exceptionally poor. I'm happy to say this was really great. I was in the midtown area and partnered with Colston for a haircut. I don't like making time for what can otherwise be mundane, but I do like the feeling of a great cut. Colston listened to what I wanted and delivered a really great cut. My wife and daughters agreed. The location is super clean and it's a family business. Kind of neat to see father and sons in the same shop. There's a nostalgia to it that is impressionable. And they have a bunch of freebies, if that's your thing. I was there for one thing ... the cut - and they delivered.

Experiencia fantástica: I decided to check this place out, and put them to the test since their site says they have been voted the best Barbershop in OKC multiple times, and was voted #1 New Business in 2018. I do like the layout of the parking lot and building. All the Barbers in there are personable, friendly, and skilled from what I could see. My barber was Alex. He is a newer barber, and only has maybe 2 1/2 years of experience. He could use more experience on straight razor shaves, but other then that he is a good friendly barber. Over all this is a good spot, but they are on the more exspensive side.

Experiencia negativa: 2 weeks ago I needed a last minute haircut and these guys were the only available barbershop at noon on a monday. I was a little put off by the price, but I needed a haircut. When I went in they seemed nice enough. I had not gone to a barber since the first lockdown! I had only cut my hair by myself. I had a lot of hair. I asked my barber for his advice on what haircut to get... that was a big mistake! I ended up with a terrible haircut. My barber knew that as well. I knew he knew by the way the conversation tapered off and he seemed perplexed. At the end he asked me what I thought. For the first time in my life I told a barber that I didn't like the haircut. He then proceeded to tell me he was limited with styles because my hair is simple. That may be true, but at least he could have given me a good looking simple haircut! I won't be back.

Experiencia negativa: I do NOT recommend this barbershop. The staff seemed to be nice and the design of the shop is great but, the haircut they gave me was totally different from what I asked for. I had longish hair around 7 inches at the longest part and asked for a trim and they cut off almost all of it without warning. I recommend this place if you want a very basic cut and do not care style you want. If you want to choose a style and want to get what you asked for, DO NOT come here at any costs, also it is very expensive for not really getting to choose your own haircut. DO NOT GO HERE.

Experiencia negativa: Completely unaccommodating service. I have gotten my hair cut here several times and it has always been great. Awesome atmosphere and very skilled barbers. Everything is wonderful as long as you operate strictly on their terms. I was running ten minutes late and I called to let them know and I was unequivocally told they could no longer accommodate me, unless I wanted just a quick clean up. A quick clean up is $15. I am not paying $15 when I will have to come back in a week and pay $30 for a regular haircut. For the record my cuts usually only take twenty to twenty-five minutes start to finish, not the full thirty minutes for which they allocate. It is unfortunate when a service provider believes that they are so special that they forget that the job is to take care of the customer. I work in the restaurant industry and if a guest took the time to call to advise they were running late I would figure out a way to accommodate them, even if I was booked solid. If a customer takes the time to extend you a courtesy you can certainly do the same in return. I understand that it may be a bit of a hardship, but when you provide a service you find a way to make it work for the customer whenever possible. There are many skilled barbers in this city, and the only thing that truly sets them apart is the level and type of customer service they provide. After years as a loyal Lakeside Barber customer I chose to take my business to Midtown Barbers because of the ability to make an appointment, which worked better for my busy schedule. I thought I had found a great place to get my hair cut for years to come. Unfortunately it appears I was mistaken, as poor customer service is always a deal breaker for me.

Michael is the first barber I've actually returned a 2nd time to and that's likely to continue! He's straight to the point but also willing to answer questions. He's also incredibly quick but in a good way. It's clear that he's not rushing, he just knows what he's doing and gets you in and out. Highly recommend trying these guys out if you get a chance.

Chad took the time to go through style I preferred and how to make it work with my head shape. Great looking cut at the end. Small attached parking lot. Nice leather recliners with complementary drinks, snacks, coffee. Leather barber chairs, hot foam used for shaving/neck line, nice old school feel to it all. Will definitely be making this my go to barbershop.

Michael was great and did a phenomenal cut. Complementary snacks and drinks are just the cherry on top. Very comfortable seating for beforehand with leather recliners, USB charging ports, and lots of snacks, magazines, and a coffeemaker (in addition to the drinks). Will definitely be coming back based on the cut alone. Such an great and unique experience - definitely give it a shot if you're in need of a cut.

He is always happy when he comes home and talks about how professional but best-friend-like they are. So after finding out that they do womens hair as well, I got my first haircut in 2 years. Michael was nothing short of amazing! I told him to do what he wanted, i just didnt want a shaved head or a pixie cut. Now i have the best haircut that even my 2 year old comes up to me and says "prettyyyy" at. I could not be happier and they definitely are going to be the ones that cut our family's hair exclusively. 5 stars, guys. So happy with this place.

He was referred by a friend for their straight blade shaves and man it didn’t disappoint. Hot towel looked awesome. Cameron and Michael were excellent. Real nice place. Highly recommend.
