It looks good both styled and just air-dried, which honestly is the real test for me. She paid attention to small details around the neckline and layers, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the quality of her work. He asked what I wanted to start and was very attentive when I described what I was going for—he took this and was able to apply his expertise to cut my hair exactly as I wanted. He’s also just a nice guy and I’m happy to sit in the chair for a half hour cut.

Experiencia positiva: I have been going to Shed for 2 years now. The staff is great and I've always received a good haircut, but the costs are getting really out of hand. In the last 6 months, i've seen the cost of my haircut increase to $70 - $75 after tip.. I'm usually okay paying this amount as it's a good haircut and I go in 1x per month. But last night I went in for a "line up" in between haircuts, which consisted of a neck shave and some very light scissor trimming around my ears. The whole operation took 3 minutes and it cost me $25 after tip - which feels too high. Understand Austin is expensive and people in the service industry need to be paid a fair wage, but I really hope Shed can figure out their pricing because right now it's too damn high!

Experiencia negativa: I asked for my hair to NOT get cut into a mullet and taper up the back and my only request was not honored, I paid $70 fir haircut last week and I already need another one because he didn’t cut my hair properly and gave me a mullet instead of cutting the hair on the back of my head/neck. Very disappointed in the effort and results.

Incredibly thoughtful about the details, no rushing or distractions, and perfectly remembered my desired cut after only being there once before. Not only is Adrian masterful at all aspects of cutting hair, but he is also very kind and nice to talk to (and all other employees there from my brief interactions with them). Overall, a great barbershop and great energy.

Experiencia fantástica: Erika’s awesome! About a month ago (July 25) I went to her for a big chop — cut off around 9 inches going from pretty long to short-medium — and she did such a great job. I was nervous about the change but ended up loving it. Came back today for a cleanup before my trip to Japan tomorrow and she did exactly what I asked for. I had told her before that I don’t really like fades, and she was great at listening and making sure the cut fit what I wanted. Quick, clean, and it looks great. Super easy to talk to and really listens to what you want. Definitely recommend her!
