He’s the only one I trust with my cut, and that hasn’t changed since day one. Shane is consistent, funny, professional, and genuinely skilled at what he does. He knows exactly how I like my haircut and always delivers with precision. The shop itself has a great welcoming feeling, always clean, laid-back, and positive atmosphere. Experiencia negativa: Was recommended by a friend so I made an appointment at 4 PM. Arrived 10 minutes early and he took someone else at 4 PM. I understand sometimes people run behind but communicate instead of just saying I’ll be right with you. My way of showing respect to my barbers time is being early. The best way to show respect for your clients is to communicate with them.

My friend and i recently got into an accident with one of the customers in the parking lot where we were trying to turn around, not park. Even though the accident was the other individual’s fault, a barber came out and rudely addressed us, asking why we were in the parking lot and that “we cant be there”, rather than what happened or if anyone was okay. Then, he proceeded to tell us that we needed to leave and that we weren’t allowed in an annoyed tone. we understood but again, we weren’t parking there. accidents happen and im not blaming anyone, but this rudeness needs to be addressed as we told him multiple times that we werent staying and that we were there for longer due to the accident. On top of the accident, his attitude was unnecessary and disrespectful.

Experiencia negativa: I recently received a haircut here. The price is the lowest around for sure. I was asked before they started how I wanted it cut and I explained the style and asked them to leave it about 1.5 inch long. The barber even repeated it to me. He then proceeded to cut my hair down to about .25 inches. Apparently this is the only way he knows how to cut it.

Experiencia negativa: Over the course of a decade I’ve been a frequent customer at Ron’s. My experiences have always been great! Until they weren’t. Shane, Al-up until this incident, and Rob have all cut my hair and been wonderful with whom to deal. Last Saturday I “tried” to trim my own beard and needed professional help afterwards. I booked an appointment with Mike. I showed up early and Mike took me early. I explained to him that I hadn’t cut my hair since Thanksgiving and needed advice/guidance; and also help with the beard as I’ve never grown one before and had messed it up. Mike- from that point on- just had a horrible vibe about him. He seemed genuinely upset that I didn’t know exactly what I wanted done. I tried joking, I tried polite conversation, I tried and tried- but Mike just didn’t loosen up and acted like he’d rather be doing 100 different things at that moment. I don’t know if it was me he didn’t like, or if he’s like that with everyone?? (I did see another reviewer also had a problem with him). Mike raced through my haircut like Speedy Gonzales on crack. He acted like everything I asked him to do was a chore or a problem. Audible sighs, and an unpleasant demeanor the whole time. Those things I could deal with if I had gotten good service. I didn’t. My hair was hacked up. It looks a mess. The beard work he did my little nephew probably could have done equally as well. When I got home and rinsed all the excess hair out of my own hair, and tried to style both the hair and beard it became apparent how sloppy of a job Mike did. My beard lines were uneven. The length of the parts of the beard he trimmed were uneven. Every time I walk by a mirror I’m disgusted and reminded of this visit to Ron’s. On Monday morning I texted Al, the owner. He asked for some time to think about how to respond. I told him to take all the time he needed. After a full week, it became apparent I wasn’t worthy of a response from Al. I texted him again. He replied that “he wasn’t getting involved and that he showed the text to Shane, the other owner-and that I could come in and talk to him”. Al-I have a few questions for you- 1-Isn’t it the owner’s responsibility to deal with issues that arise-whether they want to or not? Especially, when you tell an individual you will get back to him. 2-Do you not care what happens inside the walls of your shop? 3-You have my number-you showed Shane the text. You could have given him the number and had him deal with it. (Had you bore the responsibility of ownership). 4-It’s not just an indictment of you, Al. But also of Shane-who also chose intentionally to not reach out to a disgusted and unhappy customer. 5- Why??? Why is it MY responsibility to drive over to the shop to talk to Shane about the issue. It is your (you, Al, and Shane-your combined responsibilities as owners to deal with unpleasant issues. To reach out to the customer. And not just leave him hanging for a week, Al. 6-In addition, you know, Al, as well as I do that if I showed up to speak with Shane he would have a steady stream of customers and there would not be an appropriate time or place to speak of a sensitive issue. Finally, I do have to be entirely honest and say that up until this visit with Mike I had never had a bad experience here. I actually had an appointment booked with Rob before Al’s last pompous text to me. It was at that point in time I chose to sever ties with Ron’s, cancel my appointment, and write a review that never would have seen the light of day had the owners chosen to deal with a longtime customer appropriately. This place is cheap. It’s always crowded. I know this review and my lack of business won’t hurt this establishment in the least. What I hope the review does do is reach the owners and enlighten them to the way they are treating people- either themselves or representatives of the shop (Mike).

Inexperienced and rude barbers, a completely filthy store, and an unprofessional atmosphere make this place one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. It’s no surprise that the reviews speak for themselves. If you value quality, cleanliness, and respect, stay far away. This place is a waste of time and money.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been going to Ron’s for years but this was the first time I made an appointment. Mike is a nice guy but not confident to cut hair. We agreed to part ways and I had to go to another shop which cut my hair without a problem. I have a thin scar on the back of my head that I asked him to keep concealed. I wanted a no1 buzz at the bottom and to taper it to keep the scar concealed. Nobody else who works there has ever had a problem with that and did a great job so needless to say this was a very big disappointment. I have a new place to go to now but wanted to post this review which was very upsetting to me today.

And that is not all, clearly said he doesn’t care if I was having an international, and demanded to leave the place. Apparently, this is his behavior. He has has several reactions , no to mention the the lack of class.

I always make an appointment and he takes his time with me, He always tries to find a way and goes above and beyond. During the last two days following my visit and haircut with Gianny people I know have commented to me.. OMG what happened to your hair or who cut your hair. It look awful. and they are right. Every time I need to go home and clean up their work because it seems that they have no idea on how to remove hair. I still feel hairs. And yes, I went back in to try and get the guy to fix it. I just got fed up. This place seems to be the place where barbers who barely passed whatever course they took come to work.

It it may look uninviting on the outside but once you get inside and interact with the staff you're never going to go anywhere else. As soon as I walked in one of the owners, named Al, welcomed me and directed me to the back. (He had a client) There I found the other owner Shane and another employee named Gianni. I sat down for a haircut not having high expectations considering it was only $10. Gianni cut my hair which took about 15 minutes. He was kind, funny and very professional. He did a great job... equal if not better than the $40 to $50 dollar haircuts I pay for in New York City. I definitely recommend this place and give it five stars because of the price of the haircut, the quality of the haircut and how friendly the staff is.

Experiencia negativa: Had an appointment with Eric at 11, found out at 11:05 that he wasn’t coming in and Eric never texted or anything. There was a 45 minute wait at least for another barber. One of the co-owners told me it was between me and Eric not him about any issues I have. Eric has canceled before. I have been a loyal customer of Rons for years, I am going elsewhere now.

Experiencia negativa: Al the co-owner wrote me a horrifically rude text message when I wrote to him via text requesting an appointment that I was paying for after numerous bad hair cuts. If you want to be treated rudely, then ask for him. I would have gotten better hair cuts at a dog groomer.

He had me on the chair for 3 minutes and then told me is done. Don't ruin your hair. I had to go somewhere else to fix what he had done. Save your time and money.

Do not call their business line. (They also have a standby signup inside for next available barber.) My haircut was perfect - high fade, blended perfectly, with a little off the top. Haircut was $10 as advertised but I tipped $10 as well. My barber was Shane. The place was clean. Service was exceptional and staff was friendly. Experiencia fantástica: Place looked and felt super clean. The peeps cutting hair are all very funny, curious, and helpful, not to mention they cut hair very well here. The entrance is very unassuming but it's on the right most door. No one is in the main entrance, you will have to open the door and walk a short distance through a short hallway to get to the main barber shop area. Once there you'll be taken care of.
