Experiencia negativa: If you want a below average cut, go here and get Omar. He won’t use water, barely combs your hair, and uses electric clippers as if he’s afraid of scissors. Hair is uneven. Beard is uneven. All he talked about was politics and how women ruin everything. Was my first and last time there. Also, I was his first client of the day since I booked the first available slot and his workspace was dirty. Update: this place text and called/ left a voicemail asking me to change my review to 5 stars for $100. I wouldn’t trust all of the reviews from these people that offer bribes to people.

Experiencia negativa: If you have afro hair, this is not the place for you. Every time I get a haircut, my line up is always crooked, my eyebrows get knicked, and for some reason, my hair gets pushed back by a rushed, shoddily done job. It's like people do not care about the delicacy of the job and rush the job either because they don't want to be there or they need to make sure they can fit clients in every 15-20 minutes or so. I have to go home every single time and fix my hairline myself. Disappointing service every single time.

However, I had Basil Noufal for the first time yesterday and it was easily the worst experience I’ve had in years. These are the major standouts: - Started cutting hair without asking what I actually wanted - Only did sides at first, acted surprised when I said he hadn’t finished - Dry-cut with scissors on top - Later discovered top cut is uneven and needs to be fixed - Did the back without asking how I actually wanted it done - Dry-shaved back of neck - Product in hair without asking The kicker is that the NC Cosmetologist database says his license expired in 2021. Update: the manager was very apologetic when I called with my feedback and offered a full refund. Review score updated to match but ABSOLUTELY DO NOT get Basil/Omar to cut your hair.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred by a friend. The guy that cut my hair retired after 33 years so I needed a haircut desperately. Roy was very good. I walked in. Great place. Made me feel at home. I would highly recommend going here. I will be going back.

Experiencia negativa: I have been to this barbershop for a handful of haircuts. I was very happy with my previous haircuts with Omar however today I had a very different experience sadly. As you can see from the pictures in this review: - I got cut from the razor he used at least 5 times - a spot on the back of my head hair doesn’t grow as good, which he knows about, and I warned before he started the haircut. It was cut too short. - I was also not shown the back of my neck with a mirror, so I would have never known of the cuts, except for the burning I felt on my neck when he sprayed product on my neck afterwards - I had an appt at 1:30pm and patiently waited till almost 2:00pm while Omar finished a previous customer. After the previous customer left, Omar complained about the customer being too picky for their first haircut there to me. - my haircut was nowhere near as good as previous ones My fiancé noticed this all once she picked me up from the barbershop. When we went back in to ask for a refund, Omar called the manager over, we explained everything, and I was given a full refund. However, Omar’s response was extremely unprofessional. He did not take accountability. Walked away from the conversation multiple times. Omar had always been kind in my previous hair cuts, so I tried to shake his hand and affirm him for the future, but he responded by insulting my fiancée who was standing beside me. We were just asking for a refund to make things right. Thank you to the management for making things right and not arguing over a refund. I will sadly not be returning to this barbershop again, however, due to Omar’s unkind words.

Usually I don't have a clear idea of what style I want and ask to defer to their expertise and I've never been disappointed. I also bring my son to get his haircut and I've been extremely pleased with his styles as well. Will continue to do business with V's Barbershop and HIGHLY recommend them to everyone.

Experiencia negativa: I had the worst haircut of my life here yesterday from Roy. It literal looks like I cut it myself - uneven, unblended, unfinished (halfway through he asked if I wanted to cut anything on top, which I’ve never been asked). Completely unacceptable for a $40 haircut.

Experiencia negativa: Previous good experiences aside (if I had not had success in the past my rating would have been a 1 or 0. On 4/4/24 I had booked a confirmed appointment with Omar at 9am several days in advance to fit my schedule. When I arrived I was told by another stylist he had not arrived or called out and they didn’t know where he was…. I expect more from a professional business that confirms appointments in advance on their website. At a minimum a call prior advising the status and if not that, perhaps a follow up call after the error occurred would have been appropriate. Poor customer service all the way around.

Experiencia negativa: We have been coming here for years, my spouse goes often, and my son. They do great cuts but their cancellation fee is ridiculous. We canceled our sons appointment because he started vomiting. It was way more than enough time for them to find someone else to replace the appointment, as well as any walk-ins, they charged $25! As someone who was also in the cosmetology industry, I understand the value of time, but never have I ever charged a customer for being sick! People get sick, they shouldn’t have to pay $25 for being sick. Will not be coming back here.

Experiencia fantástica: As a bald guy, this is the first visit I've made to a barbershop in probably 25-30 years. I recently started growing a beard, getting ready to retire (you know, you need a retirement beard - it's similar to a playoff beard), and I decided (wisely) that if I tried to trim it up myself I'd ruin it and have to shave it off. So went to visit the folks at V's Barbershop, and Britt was *outstanding*! I can't be effusive enough with how much I enjoyed my session! If you need a beard trimmed, you will not go wrong here. I assume the same for haircuts, but my shiny head says I'll never know. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Gave this shop a try based on a 4.8-star rating. The stylist that cut my hair was nice. She asked what I wanted and began buzzing my head. The cut is nothing like what I asked for and will take a few months to regrow the top of my hair again. My sideburns we're uneven, I have white walls over my ears, and my bangs are cut up to my hairline. She didn't even clean the loose hair off of me. Not worth the $35.
