Experiencia fantástica: This evening was my first visit to Vs Barbershop and it deserves more than 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s! What’s even more impressive was how amazing this experience was considering I’m pretty much bald. I came in for the facial, shave, and massage and it was the most detailed and professional service I think I’ve ever had. The prep with the trimmers, the hot towels , the shaving foam, the straight razor shave, the hot towels again, the cold towels the after-shave oils, the facial creams, the hand held massager, and whatever else I left out. I walked out of there looking younger and feeling like a million bucks! Thank you again Marc for your mastery of your profession!

Experiencia negativa: Two stars for a shop that I expected a lot more from. The guy seemed confident and said I got you I know what you’re looking for. Trim the sides so the hair doesn’t stick out and an inch off the top. Pretty straight forward. Nothing fancy. He barely trimmed the sides or the top. They were very uneven. I got home and looked in the mirror and my hair was already sticking out from one side. All he did was trim around my ears but never moved the hair around so once I was washed up the hair went down over my ears again and sticking out on one side. I don’t have the time to go back to correct this and I’d prefer them not to touch my hair going forward. Two stars because the straight shave was on point. Otherwise I won’t be going back. Waste of money. One and done.

I’ve definitely found my permanent barber was able to get me in without an appointment in which I know it’s recommended came in at the right time. Was able to get me in less than 10 minutes. They show nothing but Kindness, hospitality, and gratitude. I’ve been to a few barbers around the Scottsdale area. I honestly can say that these guys here are amazing and come highly recommended.

Showed him a picture, said how I wanted it cut and he smiled and nodded and proceeded to give me something totally different. I've been to V's at least 5 different times, in different places across the valley, and every single time they have done a mediocre job. No longer will I make this mistake.

Experiencia negativa: I got a haircut. It was like $65 with everything plus tip and he didn’t even cut it correctly. I did tell him I wanted zero leg in the back to my hands and then high fade and then finger length enough so I can comb my hair out because I do it every time and I needed it for a job interview and he butchered my hair and he cut it the way he wanted it and then when he cleaned my beer, he didn’t even claim at all and remove all the hairs that he supposed to he just kind of went through it real quick. Still got charged full price for a horrible job but now I have to pay someone else to fix. Please don’t go out here if you want to get your hair chopped for no reason clearly the guy that was doing it was just some must’ve been new guy cause he even butchered my beard. Some was clean and some was still full of hair and it was uneven. I’m all sides. It’s it’s just a complete disaster.

Experiencia negativa: Booked an appointment with one person and then he passes me off to another barber since he was finishing up another cut alright I go with it, first time here maybe they’re all legit right? Haircut wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had, but the guy seemed distracted during the cut. Multiple times I caught him glancing away from my hair while using the clippers and scissors.. I don’t think the guy said more than 5 words to me. Come here if you’re 50+ and losing your hair so it doesn’t matter what cut you get, very old fashioned place. Wasn’t quite what I was looking for, but hopefully my review helps in your decisions.

Got Mikhail, (been there for 20 years), who gave me one of the better haircuts I’ve ever had, despite my minimal directions of ‘just cut it shorter’. Never expected to ever say this, but I’ll plan on getting a haircut from him when I visit next time.

Experiencia negativa: Marc B. while a great barber, is unforgiving in his processes and even if you follow policy, cancel 24 hours in advance, he will discontinue services, if he sees fit. I was struggling financially and had to cancel a couple times, all with plenty of notice. When I was finally able to make my appointment and showed up, Marc said I did not have an appointment and should have got the text. Keep in mind, if you are five minutes late, he will expect a phone call, but he will cancel on you without the same courtesy. Little did he know, that haircut was so I could look nice prior to my father’s funeral. If life never gets hard and you are extremely punctual, Marc B. is the barber for you.

Experiencia negativa: I walk-in and sit in the chair. I show him a picture of the haircut I’m trying to get. I try to really explain what it is that I want and he kinda just cuts me off and says I got it. From there on it felt like he cut my hair as fast as possible. It shows, cause there’s a few spots that aren’t very even. He got to the end and asked if I wanted it shorter. I said no because I wanted to keep the hair I had left so I could hopefully get it fixed somewhere else. I wasn’t expecting the world from this place 30 bucks for the haircut but it just wasn’t worth it. My family and friends all said I need to go get it fixed somewhere else. I’ve never had another hair cut that bad before. It looks like a bowl cut on top with an undercut on the side. Not at all what I showed him or tried to explained before he cut me off. I saw the clippers on the counter and it’s covered in little grey hair which he just quickly tries to blow off before he started using them. That just didn’t feel very clean. He’s spraying water on my hair and I swear he was aiming at my ear drum. Lol. My hair never got very wet but the inside of my ears were soaked. No body likes getting sprayed in the ear dude! He’s finishing the hair cut and blowing off some hair with the blow dryer. It was used so minimally my only guess is that he’s been told to cut back on it to save electricity lol. Then we get to amazing massage. Brother if you’re gonna hold that little vibrating hand thing on my right shoulder for 5 seconds let’s just skip it all together. You’re not gonna massage away the stress of this bad haircut. I’ve had better haircuts in foreign countries where the barber doesn’t even speak English. The real kicker is that this guy was pretty rude. This was my first haircut in phoenix, thought I would try it cause I lived close by. To anyone thinking about it, save your hair and go somewhere else

Like most places, they understandably prefer appointments, but for those in a pinch, they also welcome and accommodate walk-ins. The barbers listen and execute, while giving suggestions when asked. The conversation and vibe is fun, interesting, and relevant. A really cool spot.

Experiencia fantástica: Great shop. I relocated to a different spot in the Valley and needed a new place for a cut. Came in for a walk-in on a Friday morning and Quinton helped me out right away. Showed a quick reference pic, he asked a few questions (instead of assuming, which I really appreciate), and he got me straight in a quick turnaround. Nice cut - they use a straight blade on the neck, which feels way better than an unguarded clipper. Even had a hot towel and quick massage gun on the shoulders after. Will return for sure!

Experiencia positiva: Vitaly doesn’t know how to communicate. I went and got a haircut from him and I told him what I wanted then he proceeded to give me a horrible buzz cut. The cut felt very rushed with no attention to detail, and he didn’t ask if I wanted product in my hair before putting it in. I’ve been here three times with three different barbers and have had a subpar cut every time. After this cut, I won’t be coming back.

She was patient and extremely skilled at cutting hair. One thing to add, if you’re going to be visiting and you’re a first timer, I recommend downloading V’s Barbershop app and book an appointment for Promenade location prior to your visit. I was given a bottle of water while waiting and at the end of the cut I was offered hot towel and a massage. Overall, I’m very satisfied. I will be returning to this location for future cuts. Experiencia negativa: I’m sure from the great reviews that lots of people get great haircuts from here so I don’t want to go and completely go 1 star and the only reason I didn’t is because the front desk guy David was super nice and helpful. But let me tell you do not get a hair cut from Vitaliy literally the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had from a barber through this entire experience he was very rude and standoffish. First time I met him didn’t even introduce himself to me, just told me to sit down in the chair while texting on his phone. After he asked, what kind of haircut I want I showed him a picture and he told me that the picture is the same hair That I have right now When my hair right now is about 2 inches longer than the photo after I explain to him what I wanted he proceeded to absolutely soak my entire head with a spray bottle, not covering up my face and spraying my face repeatedly with water as well. And then continued to rip through my hair with a comb without even considering to wash my hair first. After I pushed his hand away and asked for my hair to be washed first He told me it would make no difference whether he washed my hair or not. after all of that he acted like he was about to wash My hair as he started to take off the box of my haircut bib, but I had had enough of this experience already and I took off my haircut bib and told him that we are done here, and I walked out. Safe to say, I will never come here again.

I asked for 1/2 inch off the top and they took at least 2 inches off at the minimum. Haircut was fast and not thoroughly done. They also have no idea how to cut curly hair so if you have curly hair please go to somewhere else like GOAT haircuts. 2 others in the shop at the same time as me also had complaints about their haircut with the same issues of being too short and not what they asked for. It seems to me like they take what you ask for and disregard and do their own thing. I will never be coming back here and I’m very upset.

Experiencia negativa: One of the worst haircuts I’ve had. Asked for a bald fade and to leave my hair curly at the top and the fade was pushed way to high up on both sides and back as well. Looks like a Mohawk. Truly disappointed in the haircut.

Experiencia negativa: They get one because I can't give them zero. I have long hair on top and I have them skin shave around the sides and back. There is a very clean and important line that must be maintained and the barber Nick messed it up. I now have a small patch in the front of my hair that I have to grow out to match my shoulder length hair. I came back and requested specifically the person that is best with head shaves and lines as I did the first time. The person that they gave me was completely unable to match the lineup in the front. He just kept asking me if it was even. Dude, you are the barber that is 3 inches away from my face looking at it. You are the one that is supposed to be able to tell if it's even or not!! So not only did I have a bad experience the only two times I've been here. Everybody there doesn't seem to know who's good at a head shave and a lineup. Needless to say I will never come back to this location. And I might not even go back to the Norterra location that has been my regular spot for over 2 years! If you're going to be one of the most expensive barber shops in town, you better make sure that all of your barbers are at the top of their game and I can go to any location and have anybody cut my hair with confidence knowing I'm going to have a good experience and most importantly they're not going mess something up that's going to me well over a year to grow back!! Oh and he nicked me with the blade several times. All around a terrible experience!!!

Angela was on time, attentive to my request and double-checked throughout to be sure the cut was asked. The haircut was perfect! When finished, a warm towel was placed over my head and a shoulder massage given. This was the best experience I have ever had at a barber shop. I will definitely return to Angela!
