I’m very particular about my hairstyle…for the longest time I struggled to find a barber who could pull off the freshest fade, but also had the same skills with shears; and vice versa, when I found someone who knew what to do up top, they fell short when it came time to use the clippers! For anyone who can relate with how real that struggle can be—fear not! I’ve found the answer to my prayers and she’s right here in Tally at the CHOP Midtown location. I’ve trusted no one but Nicole Robinson to touch my hair for the better part of 5 years—she’s also styled my wife’s hair, my daughter’s hair, and is the only person I trust to cut my 4yr old son’s hair. The gent assured me he has over 5 years of experience, but when I asked him to cut my hair to my brow line, he chopped above the HALFWAY POINT of my FOREHEAD. For months I looked like a dumb and dumber casting.. He also told me middle parts are out of style apparently and that I MUST get a side part… Worst $40 I’ve ever spent

It’s hard to find a good haircut these days but Kevin hooks it up every-time. He cut my hair for my wedding, my brothers wedding, he gave my son his first haircut the list goes on. The chop is awesome and Kevin is the man. Go see him.

Experiencia fantástica: Amber is phenomenal! I’m a CHOP guy for the last 4-5 years and always happy with the cut, time, vide and online schedule payment system. Few months back I had an unexpected out of town work trip and my normal person is off on the day I needed to be cleaned up. I read the reviews for Amber and saw she had an opening. I even told her that it was probably a one time cut. All good.. went home and my wife quickly gave compliments that I looked really good. She’s my person and has to look at me.. so big compliment. Now, Im an Amber regular. She great! Very detailed, meticulous, and just a wonderful job! No slight to my previous stylist, also great. But Amber is next level. And I appreciate her.

Experiencia negativa: The Lady by the name of Nicole has really poor customer service. We have been trying for over a month to get in with her doing everything that she has asked like calling and attempting to schedule an appointment, booked online only for her to tell us once we were there that it was not an appointment it was only a 15 min consultation. We have gone as far as coming back after her last appointment only to find out that she was gone already. When you call the person who answers the phone only response is "give me your name and number and I will have her call you back" such BS!! By far the worst customer service since coming to Tallahassee. My child shouldn't be getting the run around due her lack of communication. I would never recommend her to anyone. BE AWARE OF THIS STYLIST.

I asked for a half midway up then taper. They turn you around so you can’t see what they doing. Once he finished I was very confused because the half was very low. It didn’t even look like I got a haircut. I asked if he could bring up the half more and he got all mad. Then charged me more than I had made appointment for. Crybaby move

Experiencia negativa: I booked an appointment online and had to pick the service I wished to be performed. There are so many options, really nothing made sense. I chose a quick cut (think that’s what it was called) because I really only wanted the sides buzzed down, wanted to keep the length on top. When I came in, I explained I didn’t fully understand what to book. Then I explained how I wanted my hair cut. I wanted the sides buzzed to a 1. The stylist told me he didn’t have time for that and could only buzz it to a 2. Like really? The whole picking packages for a hair cut is ludicrous. Any other salon or barber shop I’ve gone into asks what I want, they do it and I pay a flat fee for a regular men’s haircut. Long story short, I won’t be going back. Getting a hair cut should be easy

Experiencia negativa: I've been coming to Chop for 3 years and have always had great experiences, but my recent visit with Amanda was disappointing. I had an appointment scheduled for 6:30 on a Friday. I arrived early, at 6:20, and saw that she was finishing up with another client. That was no issue - I understand things can run a little late. However, after she finished with her client around 6:45, instead of starting my appointment, she sat down and mindlessly scrolled through TikTok like I wasn't even there. No apology, no explanation, just blatant laziness and disrespect. After sitting there for another 20 minutes, I walked out because it was clear she couldn't care less about her job or her customers. Amanda is beyond lazy and inconsiderate completely unprofessional. Please save your time and don’t book an appointment with her!!!

Recently I started using Malachi lowe and it has been by far the best bald fade experience I have ever had so if your looking for the sharpest cut around he is my recommendation.
