Fantastic experience: Great spot with lots of talented barbers. I see Jeff and have always been elated by the results. Can't recommend him enough. I've gotten several vary different hair cuts from him from parts, slick backs, and tapered blowouts and he's nailed them all exactly the way i described how I wanted it to look.

Fantastic experience: My son is 5 now. We started going to Quincey when Josiah was 4 years old, and he would cry when taken to other places for haircuts. But somehow we worked with Quincey, and ever since, he has stayed still for most of the haircut. Plus, Quincey is so patient with him! Josiah enjoys talking to him and doesn't want to go with any other barber now lol. I think the price is worth it!

Negative experience: I’ve been to Faded Inc several times over the past two years—this was my sixth visit and my third barber there—but unfortunately, this will be my last. I came in expecting a quality cut, but left very disappointed. I asked for about an inch off, and somehow ended up with only about an inch of hair left. My hair was around six inches long before the cut. For $69, I would expect a complete service that includes a hot towel and straight razor finish, but neither was offered. My sides and neckline weren’t properly lined up, and my neck was left burning and irritated after the haircut. I even told the barber that if he didn’t have time for the beard, it was fine to skip it—I’d rather he not rush. Unfortunately, the next client arrived, and I was rushed out anyway. To make things more uncomfortable, there was a tense moment when the barber reacted harshly to a coworker’s joke. Overall, the experience felt rushed and unprofessional. It’s disappointing, especially since the shop is right across from my home. I won’t be returning.

Fantastic experience: I bring my 9 year old here quite frequently the guys are always nice to him and always engage in his random conversations. They are kind and always helpful and most importantly they always get him looking right. 10/10 of possible for services and customer service.

Negative experience: I had high hopes for this barbershop, especially since the Google photos present it as a kid-friendly place. Unfortunately, my son had a very disappointing experience here. From the moment he sat in the chair, the barber, Marsel, seemed visibly irritated. We requested a mullet with a fade on the sides and even provided a reference photo, yet the experience quickly became uncomfortable. The barber was rough while combing through my son’s hair, despite it not being particularly coarse. At just six years old, there was no reason for such an aggressive approach. Throughout the haircut, the barber sighed heavily and displayed impatience. When wetting my son’s hair, water dripped down his face, and when my son politely asked for it to be wiped, the barber dismissed him, saying, “No, you’re good, dude.” It wasn’t until his father intervened that the barber finally complied. What concerns me most is that this shop is advertised as welcoming to children, yet my son’s natural movements seemed to frustrate the barber. If a child’s behavior—especially one who may have ADHD or simply be acting like any typical child—causes a loss of professionalism, this may not be the best place for families. We won’t be returning, and I want to make other parents aware that if you’re looking for a truly patient, kid-friendly environment, this may not be the right choice.

Fantastic experience: Everytime I come to this establishment for my haircut I always leave satisfied! The stylist here really knows what they’re doing and do their best to listen and deliver amazing results. A very welcoming establishment as well, all the stylists are very friendly and interact with their clientele. Highly recommend it to anyone in the Salem area!

Jeff was super patient with him and could read our toddlers body language really well, knowing when it was ok to cut and when it was time to back off.
