Negative experience: Easily the worst haircut I’ve ever received from roosters. The barber didn’t even have the proper tools to do the job but continued anyway. Apparently, he left his clippers at home, but still started cutting without giving me the option of rescheduling or going with another barber. I’ve been going to roosters for over a decade. This will be my last visit as the price used to mean a great quality haircut. Now I feel like I’m paying a lot of money for the same haircut I’d get at Supercuts.

Fantastic experience: Kesnia was absolutely exceptional. I recently moved to the Tampa area from Michigan, where I’d been going to the same hairstylist for over 10 years. I was nervous about finding someone who could understand my style just as well. Thankfully, Kesnia understood exactly what I wanted and gave me a hairstyle that even my long-time stylist couldn’t surpass. I highly, highly recommend her and this salon!

Fantastic experience: We brought our son in to Priscilla for his very first haircut today, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We were a little anxious about how it would go (would he sit still, how would his hair turn out?) but she made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. She is truly gifted with children, and his haircut looks fantastic. It’s clear she’s not only wonderful with kids but also a skilled and knowledgeable stylist who would do an amazing job with any man’s haircut. We’re so grateful we found Priscilla, and we’ll definitely be going back!

Fantastic experience: I love this shop! Since moving to Tampa, this is the only place I will get my haircut at. The floor is kept clean and the waiting area is very homey with complementary refreshments. Usually I just do whoever is available because they all do an amazing job! This past time (10/2) I had Priscilla and she was fantastic! I’ll definitely try to schedule her the next time I want a cut!

The next day at work I was complimented by thirty somethings who said I looked five years younger. Enough said. And I enjoyed my Modelo and the conversation they gave me. Great place. Negative experience: I had a scheduled appointment at 12:30PM, I arrived at 12:25PM for my appointment. However, a walk-in was assigned my appointment time. I waited 14 minutes, then inquired at the front desk…what was the delay? I was informed that they took a walk-in and could wait until 1PM. This was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and I will not utilize their services AGAIN! Regards, Dr. Hollis

Fantastic experience: Junior gave me a truly incredible haircut. It was exactly what I asked for and even better than the inspiration photo I showed him. Beyond his skills with the scissors, he’s also a very nice person and easy to talk to. The staff is also extremely nice and accommodating, and they keep the shop very clean. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Before finding this place, I was trying an experiment where I wanted to try every barbershop in Tampa. But Jasmine, my stylist here, seems to have figured out the perfect haircut for me. Once you strike gold, stop digging. So now I just go here all the time.

Mikelle did an amazing job analyzing my hair, reviewing my haircut wants and letting me know what we could realistically do. As someone trying to grow out my hair , this was very appreciated advice. She was careful in not cutting too much while giving my hair shape and flow. Ill definitely be coming back for maintenance and cant wait for Mikelle to cut and style my hair once I reach my target length

If you want a good haircut, and I mean a professional, meticulous haircut by someone who is serious about their profession and your haircut, this is your place. They are all great, but I'm partial to Mikelle. I've been around a few decades and lived in many places, had haircuts in each, but no one comes even close to her attention to detail and natural gift. I hesitate to tell all of you this, because you'll clog her calendar once you discover her, but I owe it to her to sing her praises. Simply the best! Fantastic experience: I wanted a traditional beard trim and was in the area, so I searched around and found Roosters Men's Grooming Center, which had excellent reviews. I decided to do a walk-in since I didn't have an appointment, and after a 45-minute wait, I was booked in. The grooming center's decor, featuring art pieces, was a beautiful decor. When my appointment came up, I was greeted by Justin Boone, who became my barber for the day. He promptly seated me, asked thoughtful questions to match my style, and then did an amazing, stylish beard trim with great care and precision. Overall, the experience was excellent--I received a high-quality beard trim with minimal wait time in a good environment.

Negative experience: I’ve been going here for 3 years until my last visit. I’m balding and the hair dresser and got a disgruntled vibe. At the end, he twisted and pulled up on the hair in the balding area and ripped a bunch of hair out. I will never GO here again.

Fantastic experience: I'm always nervous before and during a haircut. I was fortunate to have Jasmine who was so patient with me. She doesn't back down from a challenge...and trust me, I can be a challenge! She checked in during the cut to ensure it was what I wanted. Fantastic experience: Always wanted to pull the trigger on Rooster’s because I am super picky about who cuts my hair, truthfully. I’m at a point in my life where I don’t necessarily need the cleanest high fades that I’ve always gotten (I currently prefer a nice clean low taper), but I just want a nice quality, styled looking cut. So my 1st experience was only a trim/clean up but man, the amount of advisement and care Julio put into that 1st experience goes beyond most experiences I’ve ever had… I will be back today for a full cut, unfortunately Julio is out until the New Year, but I have full trust that the rest of the Roosters team in the shop will take good care of me! Looking forward to many more visits back here.

Consistently the customer experience has been great. The location is upscale, clean and bright. They have always offered a complementary beverage once I check in at the front desk. I’ve never had to wait past my scheduled appointment time. The quality of the haircuts and beard trims have always been excellent, even when I’ve had to go in on random dates for a cut with someone who didn’t know me before. Justin has always been receptive and attentive to my preferences and does a fantastic job. He’s even made some suggestions that I trusted him with and have paid off well. I anticipate being a customer for years to come.
