Robins Nest Barbershop

Negative experience: Terrible. We walked in and weren't even greeted; no one said hello, so we just sat down. Eventually, the male barber finished with a client and left the building. When he returned, he was on his phone, then went to get a friend and started cutting that friend's son's hair ahead of us—even though we had already been waiting for 20 minutes. When the female barber finally finished with her customer, she finally acknowledged us. We gave very specific instructions: we asked her to trim ONLY the sides and the fringe. We wanted to keep our 18-month-old son's beautiful curls in the back and the volume on top. Despite this, she immediately started cutting the top. We stopped her and repeated "only the sides and the fringe," but then she began cutting the back anyway. At that point, we told her it was enough; we paid and left fuming. We honestly shouldn't have paid, but we didn't want to cause a scene in front of our child and another kid. To top it off, the "car" seat they put our son in was covered in hair from a previous customer. The entire place is dirty.

Negative experience: Good barber , when they are open . No consistency with when they can do haircuts for people walking in.Sometimes they can accommodate walk in customers, more times you arrive and are told it's on a booking system only . Very, very frustrating .

Fantastic experience: Been looking for a barber 3 years since moving into the area, finally got recommended the Robins Nest and was not let down, really friendly staff, managed to cut and style my hair exactly like the reference photo and had some really good hair styling products for sale as well, definitely my go-to now for haircuts.
