Fantastic experience: 10/10 my son had refused to get his hair cut in a number of barbers - church lane were so patient, kind and understanding and got his hair cut. He can’t wait to go back. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: We got our first hair cut done today by Anne. I really thought my little boy will be crying and we will have to leave it for another time but Anne did such a great job. She really knows how to talk to kids and she is such a nice lady with a wonderful personality and of course so great in her job. The place is beautiful, very nice and clean and the most important it is child friendly so the kids can feel like at home. Fantastic experience: 10/10. Got my two year old son’s haircut by Anne today and wow. We’ve tried so many different places and my little one is prettified to the point 2 people need to hold him down but today we didn’t even need to distract him he was just so content and comfortable with Anne. Such a lovely, talented woman we have finally found the perfect place for him to go too. Definitely recommend Anne.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for I'd say the last 2 years. Anne and her team (When there) are great, professional and always up for a nice chat! I love coming here because Anne is consistant in her cuts. I let her choose most of the styles since she knows best. She is always spraying down equipment and sweeping around. Keeps her business in great condition and is great with kids.

Fantastic experience: Anne is brilliant! She’s amazing with kids—my 3-year-old always looks forward to his haircut - and lollipops! The place is always so clean and fresh, and there are plenty of toys to keep the little ones entertained while they wait. Her prices are very reasonable, and she does an excellent job every time. It’s the only place I’ll go for a haircut. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've been getting my hair cut here for years, lovely place always clean and everyone inside is so friendly and welcoming.

Negative experience: UNSANITARY. The cut itself was fine, however I noticed ( my vision is 20/20 by the way) that combs, scissors and clippers aren’t being cleaned in any way between clients. This can result in lice, fungal, bacterial or even viral infections in some cases, being spread from person to person. And you can’t always tell if the person has a skin condition, it may not show yet. Plus it’s disrespectful to the clients. I am genuinely appalled. I hope the salon improves its practices as soon as possible.

Fantastic experience: I brought my 2 year old son for a haircut with Anne today. She made him at ease right away and he got a great haircut. He had a great time playing with all the toys and getting his haircut that he didn't want to leave in the end! ....Anne is after getting a new customer!!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding service always

Negative experience: One of the worst haircuts I have ever gotten. I can say that she was closing earlier than her usual time; but then rushed up my haircut. Not at all recommended; she focused a lot too much on the chat, very scanty on the hair itself. Even after especially asking her to use scissors she continued with a trimmer and was irregularly cutting it. It caused severe irregularities in my hair. She continued talking and broke my constant reminder to not use trimmer. She would’ve done it to speed up the trim as she was rushing off or running late. The worst barber experience I’ve had and I truly think Anne doesn’t know how to cut a hair properly. If she cannot cut a teenager hair, please don’t. But please don’t butcher someone else’s hair and confidence just for the sake of getting €18.

Fantastic experience: Our son isn't the greatest fan of having his hair cut, but once we turn onto Church Lane, he is excited to get upstairs to play with the toys provided and sit in the racecar-style barber chair! Oh, and for the treats... and for the TV where we can put on Peppa or Blippi. It still is sometimes a tricky experience, but the patience of the wonderful barbers there make it as pleasant as it can be. 5 stars aren't enough!

Fantastic experience: Anne does wonderful hair cuts for children. I've one young child and one teenager and both are catered for with haircuts cuts that suit their ages and hair type. She does not rush the child and gets them to relax with toys and flat screen TV near by. Excellent haircuts I'd highly recommend.
