Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️10/10 ⭐️⭐️ My child’s whole experience of getting a haircut has been transformed after our visit with Elaine today. She is truly outstanding at what she does. From the minute we walked in, she made us feel completely at ease. She was patient, calm, friendly, and brilliant at engaging with my child, who normally finds haircuts extremely stressful. The haircut was perfect, which is something I thought would be a task as my child was well over due one. But more than that, Elaine made it an enjoyable experience, which is a first for us. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a calm, kid-friendly, and professional barber. Will definitely be back

Fantastic experience: Got my son's haircut who is 16 months. Usually doesn't like getting it cut but would like to thank Anne who was fantastic at doing it. She provided plenty of distractions so he wouldn't notice it as much. Nice car seats for the kids too. Will be back

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend going to Elaine. She is very professional and so easy to talk to. My son who has ASD used to hate getting his hair cut but Elaine is so patient with him. She really takes her time to settle him down and is so calm and reassuring. She remembers everything he likes and dislikes between visits, nothing seems to bother her! She is brilliant with my daughter too and explains everything to her. The salon is spotless and I couldn't recommend Barber Laine more.

Fantastic experience: Just want to give a shout out to Elaine in Barber Laine my girl had a hair cut with her today (3.5 years old) her first haircut since she was 2! Elaine instantly relaxed her & myself as I was nervous how shed react! Such a beautiful salon, well kept/clean/tidy and a relaxing atmosphere. Loads of little toys for the children too play with as she cuts their hair, explained and interacted with my child while doing her hair and the bonus - a lollipop after 5/5 rating

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Elaine. My adult son loves going every two weeks for his hair cut this is a big part of his routine. She has a high level of understanding and very professional with special needs.

Fantastic experience: An excellent service. My 4 year old son finds getting his hair cut very difficult . We had tried many different hair dressers and Barber Laine was by far been the most stress free experience. Great care, understanding and patience shown throughout. Elaine has a great way with children and takes all the fear out of it.

Fantastic experience: Could not speak more highly about Elaine. I have been going to Barber Laine with my boys with around two years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. My boys actually look forward to getting their hairs cut. Fantastic experience: Elaine in my words is a miracle worker. My autistic son used to hate having his hair cut. Since barber Laine opened he has come to like getting his hair cut in a calm and relaxed environment. One less thing to worry about in a sometimes chaotic routine.

Fantastic experience: My little man 7 asd had a fantastic experience today in Barber Laine , he was a little nervous going in but when he saw the familiar face he settled down so well , we could not do hair cuts anywhere else . We have been going there for nearly 2 years now and I would never attempt anywhere else ,the time and patience she has is just amazing thanks so much Barber Laine

Negative experience: I rang at Least 6 times and left voicemails no reply and only finally got through to them to then be told no they were not taking on anymore asd special needs clients as it interfered too much with their regular clients (they advertise as a barbers for asd clients and have done articles that our based on this service) she then followed up with I don’t even take a list as it would be too long and no point . I found her phone manner extremely rude and she came across that she couldn’t care less , Really unprofessional. Also why advertise yourself as an asd barbers when you aren’t as it interrupts your salon too much apparently. Having a child with asd and trying to find services for them is extremely hard in Ireland and then to have your time wasted with a very rude person is frustrating . she finished with watch Our Facebook to see if we are taking clients like I have nothing better to do or like I’m gonna wait around for a business who when they go quite might take asd clients again no thanks !

Fantastic experience: Our 4 years old Autistic son had today his first haircut since 2022, we were stressed as he doesn’t like his hair to be touched and is scared from past experiences, we expected tantrums but Elaine touch was magical and he was happy to allow her to cut his hair. Definitely would recommend Barber Laine to any kids, specifically those with sensory issues.
