Dapper Dan's Barber Shop Ennis

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dapper Dan on Quin Road for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I bring all of my sons there as well, and the service is always outstanding. A special mention has to go to Lilian, who is a true professional. She consistently delivers excellent haircuts, takes great pride in her work, and always makes sure everyone leaves looking their best. Her attention to detail, friendly manner, and professionalism are second to none. The whole team creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the quality of service is consistently excellent. Negative experience: The inappropriately named "Dapper" Dan's was one of the worst experiences I've had at a barbers. It was Filthy - despite the fact there were No customers before me - hair everywhere, none of the shavers clean, and the counters horrendously dirty. Then the lad serving not only had no English - which is grand as long as he knows what he's doing - but he didn't. I asked if he understood, he said he did but clearly didn't. A brutal haircut that I've had to go somewhere else to sort after two weeks. Biggest waste of 17 quid ever. Avoid until they clean the place and get an actual barber who can understand you.

Fantastic experience: Both my son and I now get our hair cut here since our previous barber passed. We are both very happy with how our hair turns out. My son is 8 now.

Positive experience: Just went in for a straight forward fade and got an excellent haircut from a nice lady but was charged €19 for it! Wow bit expensive for a fade lol good barbers but will probably go somewhere else as it gets more expensive every time I go there just seem to make up their own prices when your done even tho there is a price list at the till

Negative experience: Went here on New Years Eve 2018*, (un)fortunately they were open. Asked clearly for a 2 on the back and sides, only to be given the worst haircut I've ever received. Think the young man thought 2 all over instead ?? He knew he'd made a mess of it. Anyway I had a hat on for weeks and nicknamed Shmuel. Would recommend Seamus though, excellent barber.

Negative experience: Asked for an undercut and ended up with layers. I asked him when he said he was done if he could do the undercut and he mumbled about how he would have to change a lot of things if he was gonna do that. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought it might look better when I got home. It's not even close to what I asked for. I'm gonna get my housemate to try fix it rather than going back there. They probably do good fades judging by the reviews but of you have mid or longer hair avoid this place.

Negative experience: Was looking for a new barber shop but was unfortunately this won't be it. Might as well have been on a conveyor belt. In, sit, chop & out. Friendly staff and good parking wont give you a hair cut. Had to get the wife to tidy up the unfinished job. It seemed that they were rushing to get through the few that were there just to get out the door. Too bad.
