Negative experience: Don’t go here if you’re looking for quality. In and out is the operation, young lad cutting my hair was getting rushed to go faster resulting in a lousy haircut. There used to be a few decent barbers here however it seems they all work in other places now. Just not worth the €20 when there’s places like brass monkey barber in town.

Negative experience: I recently got the worst haircut of my life in this shop by an unqualified and sure uncertified barber , He looks like he is learning and he was picking random costumer and chance it , he made a lot of mistakes and he was unable to correct his mistakes , he made them worse when he was trying to correct them . I wont blame him but I blame the OWNER who let unqualified people to give haircut to regular customers , he didn't care about the quality but it's all about the money , Businesses like this are destroying the barbering industry in Ireland , because they found it largely UREGULATED , which allows UNLICENSED INDIVIDUALS to operate without FORMAL TRAINING . Myself and my kids will never visit this shop again , Plenty barber shops in Carlow ,

Fantastic experience: I looked up Boston barbers just to check the opening hours and saw all these shocking bad reviews. They are not a good representation of what this shop is like. I get a very simple haircut so I'm always in and out. No nonsense or bullshit, just how I like it. The services provided here are always good in my view. Don't be put off by bad reviews, something tells me there's something sinister behind them.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing fade cut here and couldn’t be happier with the result. The barber blended it perfectly, sharp and clean, and really paid attention to the details. The shop itself is spotless and has a great, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. You can tell they take real pride in their work and care about giving every customer the best experience. I walked out feeling fresh and confident — highly recommend this barbershop if you want a proper fade done right!

Negative experience: I took my son to this barbershop two weeks ago, and he ended up with ringworm from their filthy, unsanitized equipment. This place is a disgrace. On top of that, the staff were yelling at each other the entire time—we didn’t feel safe or welcome at all. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never be bringing my family here again. Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend anyone going to Boston barbers in fairgreen shopping center in Carlow. They made an absolute mess of my son's hair. When I complained and asked them to fix it they started talking to each other in their own language. The guy then started chopping more off my son's hair and was making it worse. Very unprofessional, I don't think they are even qualified barbers. A dog groomer would do a better job. Shocking place. Shocking staff except for the Irish lad with the blond hair , he is good, but unfortunately he wasn't there at the time.

Negative experience: The only guy worth staying employed there is the young Irish lad. The rest aren't worth anything.. 4 chairs 4 lads but only 2 cut hair from which one is talking more than cutting. .. so really you got only 1 one guy cutting hair. What a fantastic service.

Fantastic experience: After trying nearly all barbers in Carlow and not getting the hair cut I liked I tried Boston barbers and got a great haircut I loved now it's the only barbers I go to and always go to the girl with the blonde hair excellent at her job great customer service always chatty and listens to what ya want done both me and my husband now go to her regular highly recommend

Negative experience: Firstly no welcome when walking into the barbers. So so dog ignorant rude. I mean if you are working in the public, customer service plays a BIG part. A smile goes a long way. Im genuinely still shocked with how rude the girl is in there. Never again. More interested in scrolling on her phone. So rude to my son. 13euro for less than 5 mins attention. So rushed. His usual hairdresser spends 15 to 20 minutes. Will not ever go back. And before the owner comments on this defending her, you have to be open to criticism and they all clearly need help in dealing with the public.

Negative experience: Received my haircut on March 6th, shortly before 5 o’clock. I requested a 1 on the sides and a small bit off the top, and he gave me a 1 all around in a straight line around my head and fringe. He asked if the amount of hair i wanted on top was a certain amount and, before I could even answer, he had already began cutting. He took off over an inch on top, which is not what I requested. Would strongly recommend you avoid this establishment, I expected better from a well established brand, but clearly I was wrong.

Negative experience: Never going to Boston Barbers Carlow again. You charged my 13 year old son 20 euros for a 3 min haircut. And of course it was cash only and no receipt given.!It was a lady who was working and decided to tak advantage of the situation. A total rip off and robbery! I still can't belive that you would do this to a kid. Never more!!!!!?
