Fantastic experience: Been going here for a good 6+ months now. The staff are really friendly. They pay attention to what you want and are meticulous with their work. The owner is very cordial and easy to talk to and gives the best haircut of them all I reckon.

Negative experience: Disappointing Experience - Not Worth €20 I recently visited this barbers hoping for a quality trim and grooming, but unfortunately, the experience was less than satisfactory. The barber spent a lot of time engaging in unnecessary conversation which made the atmosphere for myself uncomfortable and unprofessional. I left with a beard trim that didn’t meet my expectations, and I had to make adjustments myself afterward. On top of that, my eyebrows weren’t touched at all, and no styling products were applied, which is usually standard for the price. For €20, I expected more attention to detail and a more polished service. I would be slow to return.

Negative experience: The lady who cut my hair does not know nothing about cutting hair I asked for a mid fade and she brings it so high you could see the curve of my head will never be coming back again

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Claude Monet for roughly 7 years or more. Upon entering one is greeted with a friendly smile and hello from the staff. Attention to detail is paramount. All members of staff show a clear mastery of their skills which is evident from the continuous stream of returning customers of all ages. The staff are personable and can make a customer feel welcome within minutes. I have never left unhappy with any haircut I have gotten. I would highly recommend this barber shop to many friends and others due to their high level of skill and friendly nature. Skin fades seem to be a specialist skill of theirs along with many other hairstyles.

Fantastic experience: Probably the most popular family owned business in Tralee, let alone being the most popular barber. I'm from Tralee and a regular of Claude Montes for the last 25 years and my son has been a regular for the last 10. Very friendly staff, waiting periods are always short, very clean and the professionalism by all in second to none. Caters for all ages too, originally run by Joe and his wife Margaret, their next generation of sons Darryl and Joel have been huge additions to the team over the years. And Anne has to be mentioned too!, Great place couldn't recommend it more!

Fantastic experience: I went to work and live in Tralee in 1990, my hair was longer, darker and thicker. I had my hair cut at Claude Monte by Mr. Vesey Snr. Now in 2020 I no longer live in Tralee, the hair is shorter, less of it and greyer, and Daryl is trusted with my locks. That surely tells you something about this family, their quality of service, value and the atmosphere they create. A family business worthy of support, that have kept abreast of trends and fashion. My hair is now scarce, but I wouldn't trust anyone else with it.
