Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant place from the atmosphere and look of the place to the barbers. It is absolutely relaxing to sit down (turned up a bit early for the appointment being my first time here!) with really comfortable armchairs in the upstairs. The clothes that the barbers wear also add just that extra 'special' feel to it all. Niall was absolutely brilliant craic to talk to, gave me a great haircut, and some tips on how to better take care of my hair. Overall: amazing spot.

Negative experience: Today I read on their website that the Barber rooms were walk in and the gentleman's grooming rooms were booking only so off i went to castlebar and walked through the Barber rooms door and sat down then I was asked if I had an appointment and I said no, The gentleman said we have a booking can you come back in an an hour, I said my understanding that this was walk in and next door booking only, He replied well it's walk in when we not busy . I was the only one in there... I got up and walked out and went into Stauntons on Hopkins road and had AAA+++ service.

Fantastic experience: Kelly’s The Barber rooms is amazing from the moment you walk in. The place is so cool and has such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The team really takes their time with my 4-year-old, making sure he feels comfortable and gets a perfect haircut every time. They’re super friendly and make it a fun experience for him. And for me? I get to sip on delicious coffee while I wait. Even though we drive 45 minutes to get there, it’s totally worth it—I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Positive experience: The cut: No concerns at all. Very satisfied with it. The tonic and hot towel treatment was excellent. The location: Love the classic retro styling of the barbers and the tweed suits are a very dapper look. Unfortunately, I won't be going again. As a newcomer to the area and a new customer trying out a couple of the local established barbers, I strongly recommend that the barber's personal values and opinions on politics and international issues be left out of what is normally a "light conversation" lest the customer be offended when they may have drastically opposing view and opinions.

Fantastic experience: Always get a great cut and the staff really look after you. Being able to book before hand is great so I don't have to spend a long time waiting. Also a big thanks to Niall who always does a great job cutting my hair. I cut my long hair recently and was a bit nervous but I discussed it with Niall and I'm delighted with how it turned out.

Fantastic experience: I usually travel all the way from Sligo to visit Kelly's, they're just that good. You certainly get what you pay for, exceptional quality and 5 star customer service. Their booking system is very convenient and their staff are fantastic. In particular, I can't recommend Paul and John enough!
