Negative experience: Went to get a haircut and got told I can’t get it done because the worker was to worried about his lunch brake even Though I booked in and he was more intrested on going on his phone and when he was done going on his phone he turned around and said to me it’s to late even though he was on his phone for about 10 minutes

Fantastic experience: Great Barbers. Recently moved to Wexford, started going here & have had the pleasure of getting my hair & beard cut by Talib who is a professional with good banter, & Mary who is very bubbly and also always leaves me with a good trim. Would recommend for a clean cut.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with a gentleman called Talib. Understood exactly what needed to be done and went over and beyond. Paid attention to the smallest of details. Highly recommend for a fade haircut and beard trim.

Negative experience: Really poor experience. I waited over 20 minutes while staff sorted four people before me then stood chatting behind the counter for a good while, only to be told they were fully booked, despite the place being completely empty. When I highlighted this I was met with a stinking response. It was clear they had no interest in offering a service, ready for the day to wind down an hour before closing, and their dismissive sulky attitude made me feel like an inconvenience. Clearly, they’d rather not be working, though I’m sure they’re still happy to be paid. Diabolical customer service. I always try to support local, but not when it’s this unwelcoming. I can see from other reviews that this definitely isn’t uncommon here. Never again.

Negative experience: Long waiting time over here. Meanwhile visited dublin and had done quickly. Don't understand why waiting time while lads were there to do the job but they will do only at appointment timing.

Negative experience: Worst haircut I've ever had. Worst service. Rude behaviour. Ruined all my hair. My hair is different in lengths on each side and different on the other side, and he didn't even try to fix it. He just left. I'll never come here again. I suggest you don't come here either.

Fantastic experience: Have to commend the staff and in particular Liam. It was my sons brithday the following day and I had left it a bit late to go and get his hair cut in is usual barbers only to find they had closed a half hour early. Drove into Chapz barbers with no appointment and explained to Liam the situation and he could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Gave my son a great cut and chatted away to him while he was doing it. Great spot, great staff excellent customer service approach. Thank you Liam at Chapz Barbers as you saved me a tongue lashing from the Wife.

Negative experience: Everytime I have tried in the last year they say come back in half an hour. Three guys standing around today chatting and the same thing come back in half an hour...I used to use Chaps on a regular basis till Covid..probably only once since have I been able to get a hair cut.Im not going back again.

Negative experience: DON'T DO IT , should have questioned if 8 minutes was long enough for a hair cut, uneven and 3 different lengths. The chap that cut my hair looked 12 years old, not his fault, but traditionally barbers used to have completed an apprenticeship before being allowed to cut hair.

Negative experience: I used to think that Chapz in Tesco Wexford were good. I used them all the time. However since covid and having to book online they are more interested in having their hands on your 15 euro before you they even touch your hair. Listen anyone that wants a walk in haircut. THEY DO NOT WANT WALK INs. I drove for 25 miles and turned up at 2pm on a Monday. Told to go away at come back at 3.30pm?!! Two of the staff were going on break at the same time. AVOID

Negative experience: We arrived to the appointment being told in a very rude tone that I was 15 minutes late. The girl actually had the wrong person. By the time we established the correct appointment, we were 5 minutes late for it. A male barber came over and was refusing to do it since we were 5 minutes late and it would eat into his lunch break! I disputed it since I had pre paid on line and a slot is booked for 30 minutes, it never takes them near that long to cut my sons hair. He told us first we could come back later because he wouldn’t eat into his lunch time. In the end he did it and was done in 15 minutes. I found them rude and unprofessional. I’ll stick to Gorey in future. I will not go back to Wexford Chaps

Negative experience: Turned up at 3pm on Thursday 1st September to be told the next available slot was 5.30 pm. For me, Chapz USP was that it was a 'walk-in-on-an-impulse' barbers, so having to pre-book is a big downside. I went elsewhere and got a 'walk in' haircut in The Key and I will take my business there in future.
