Negative experience: I booked in online for an appointment, and as the nearby car park was full I had to circle around waiting for a spot before I could walk over - upon reaching the door I noticed it was all locked up, despite a big "OPEN" sign, and being within the opening times listed. After a few minutes of looking around, knocking on the door, and waiting, I had someone shout across the street at me saying I was too late for my appointment (despite no one else being in the shop), and that I had to rebook - again, all shouted across the street while the "barber" was stood having a smoke at the pub! Like others, I booked an appointment online at this barber shop after seeing positive reviews on Google - but unfortunately I didn't look deep enough in the reviews, as apparently I'm not the only one who's a similar situation at this business. This clearly wasn't a one-off incident! It wasn't all bad though, as I ended up walking just 2 minutes down the road to Sysums Barbershop, where I was happily greeted as a walk-in, and received the best cut I've had in years!

Fantastic experience: Great place in Gloucester for a hair cut. Moved up this way from Bristol, quick Google on Barber shops came up with Mode. Gave them a try and haven't been disappointed. Have been going there since September 2018 and haven't had a bad experience at all. Even though I have moved from the area I still visit here. Can't fault Leigh. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My boy had his first haircut today 18 months old. Barber who cut his hair was brilliant. The cut itself was surprisingly good considering my boy was wriggling around but the barber took it in his stride and got on with the job without any hassle. Definitely got themselves another customer from now on.
