Fantastic experience: Went today with my 9 year old to have his shoulder length hair chopped off. The atmosphere is really welcoming and the staff were friendly. Paul who did my sons hair chatted to him throughout the cut and made him feel really relaxed. He came out with a really good cut, which suited him and he's really happy. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Great place to get a haircut. Staff are always friendly and lots of positive banter. If you are a star wars fan you are in for a treat (go and find out). They have a Brill loyalty scheme where you are rewarded with a free haircut from time to time. Queue away system is useful and gives you a chance to buy a coffee or a beer - This Barber shop is busy (for a good reason) so their booking app is useful - I wouldn't go anywhere else in Maidstone and great with kids!

Negative experience: The place is good, the staff are friendly, but the Queue Away app that you have to use to get an appointment is terrible. It's a lottery, it goes from extremes, you either need to be there immediately or it will book you in for an appointment 4 hours away. There is no way to set up a weekly or monthly haircut, or to book in advance. I have had to give up on going here because I can't get to appointment the app sets and I don't want to have to waste most of my day waiting. I just checked, the next available appointment is at 1600, but I just walked past and it's basically empty.

Negative experience: Booked an appointment through their app for 12:45, got to Maidstone at 12 for some shopping and got a text saying my appointment was now at 12:10, so ran to the barbers and got in at 12 12, was asked if I had a booking, then stood waiting for 45 mins, during this time one of the 3 barbers had finsihed and just walked out the back, never to be seen again. At 12 55 a spot came free but by then I had 5 mins until my parking finished... they used to be really good but this booking system has really let them down. A waste of my time, if they had just kept the 12 :45 appointment I would have been able to do my shopping and change car parks or when I walked in, instead of just asking have you booked, why couldn't one of the 4 members of staff jist have said, look we are really busy you might be waiting for 40 mins or so at least then I could have done something instead of standing around twidling my thumbs.

Fantastic experience: I havent had a hair cut in a very long time, and my ponytail was getting to me. I've been burnt with haircuts before and I was more than tentative going in, however the guys there were welcoming and very professional. I did not want a short hair cut I wanted a quite specific cut for my hair (loose curly) and the barber knew exactly what to do! I would recommend to anyone, haven't stopped looking in the mirror all day!

Fantastic experience: Thought it was time for me to give another Mancave review. Been going to Mancave for years now and have never had a bad cut. Paul always hires talented barbers who are friendly and give good banter. Every 7th haircut is free with the loyalty card and you can book yourself on their virtual queue so no need to sit in the waiting area for very long, what is there not to like! Recently prices have gone up slightly but it’s completely understandable in the current climate- if it guarantees Mancave stays in business then it’s worth every penny.

Positive experience: Was really impressed with how polite the staff was and made room for us without a booking. The man who cut my sons hair, really listened to him and let him speak which helped my son alot, to be able to get his words out. However, on further inspection of his hair cut once home, I noticed that his fade/undercut is not blended and you can see the different numbers which were used.

Fantastic experience: Bought my 1 year old son in for his first haircut yesterday after being a ManCaver (/CaveMan) myself for a few years, so I know it would be a job well done. The little man loved it and was really at ease, Paul did a brilliant job and now he's all smart, ready for nursery (my son, not paul). It felt really relaxed and even the mum loved the new trim! Whole experience couldn't be improved upon. Strongly recommend for any kids cut and excellent value for money.

All of the barbers have always done a good job and the shop itself has a brilliant queueing system which minimizes your wait time in the premises.
