Negative experience: Thoroughly unimpressed with the staff here. They were respectful, the shop was well-kept and well-equipped, and Botan spent a lot of time and effort on my hair. Unfortunately the haircut I received was completely different to the one I had requested. I started the cut off by specifying exactly what I wanted, made sure the barber was on board, and checked in. Nevertheless someone else’s (very different) style was imposed on me. I’m happy to tip for good/consistent service but on this occasion paying even £5 for a casualty of a haircut that is going to take weeks to hide would have left a sour taste.
