Fantastic experience: I went here for the first time for a hair cut and colour. And it was done by Denise. And I must stay it turned out better than I could have hoped. I’m naturally an anxious person and Denise has such a calming nature and I felt comfortable and taken care of throughout. I was offered teas and coffee and I went in feeling about 60% and left feeling about 150% I can’t wait till it’s time to go back. Would highly recommend to anyone. Happy pleasant experience ❤️

Fantastic experience: I placed an order for Aftershave set on 4th December 2023. The monies were out of the bank immediately. Today its 20th December and nothing has been delivered. I have emailed at least 3 times requesting for order and have received absolutely no acknowledgement or response. This was meant to be Christmas gift and I am wondering what's next. Online account of mine shows the order is being processed since day 1. Feel cheated, angry and would not recommend anyone for anything. I am consoling myself thinking I have donated this money for someone in need. STAY AWAY FROM ONLINE ORDERS !!! ================================================ UPDATE: Here is an update with regards to my order. Gentleman from "The Mens Emporium" got in touch 1st week of January when he was able to receive my emails. During email exchange I learnt that they had system (IT) issue which meant all the order emails and related communication was being forwarded to spam/junk folder. Gentleman offered me to choice of refund or receiving the product. I chose the latter because I really wanted that as Christmas gift for my husband. Since then I received my order within next couple of days and my husband is very happy with the product. I really appreciate all the help in getting this order sent across to me. I should have given the benefit of doubt about infra/IT issues because these things are very common and do happen. Please strike my previous review and do reach out for fabulous range of products. Thank you once again The Mens Emporium. I will order again!!

Whilst waiting for my haircut I had a chat with Denise who was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, compared to any other barber I have been to by far this has been the most engaging one, they immediately welcome you and if they have a moment spare they take the opportunity to get to know there customers. I then had my hair done by Alex who was spot on to how I was needing it done, in most places I've seen the younger ones tend to mess up the most but this was far from the case, he had so much experience for the time he's worked and shown an interest in what he does, very easy to talk to again and as far as I'm concerned they've settled it in my mind of being the best barbers in Aberdeenshire!! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you will feel welcomed and that your choice matters for what you want done, can't say it gets any better than this.

Fantastic experience: First time getting my beard trimmed at a barbers. I couldn't ask for a better experience. She went above and beyond explaining about how to look after, and trim my beard at home to keep the shape. Explained skin type and products that would suit my skin, without selling me anything! Overall a very enjoyable hour chatting and learning, I'll be back everytime I'm passing through Aberdeen.

Negative experience: Forcing you to register and use a creditcard for making a booking is disrespectful. Single use cards are not accepted by the booking platform…low You cant even see if there is availability on the day before registering. Shameful approach

Fantastic experience: Easily the best haircut I've ever had. Denise really helped me to decide what haircut was best for my face shape and I learned quite a lot! It's about 90 minutes from my house to the salon but I won't be going anywhere else from now on. Service is the best and cannot recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: I am a regular customer at The Mens Emporium. The barbers there have always been very friendly and professional. The haircuts are of high quality and they offer products for your hair to keep your hairstyle fresh throughout the day. Booking: As a student you can get a decent discount which is around £20. Make sure to book online in advance though as they are quite busy. Parking: There is plenty of on street parking and it is close to Chapel Street Car park. Toilets: One toilet facility inside.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal Barber, which knows how to cater to all customers (and all hair types). 9 years since I've started coming to this fine establishment; where they can cater for every type of hair, and will give you better than you expect. The team, specifically Shona and Denise, are patient, understanding and will help you understand how to take care of your hair (even with tight curls, and matted hair). They will make sure you, and your hair is given the best treatment. There's no other professional stylist like Shona and Denise in Aberdeen, who can take care of your needs, and can give you the best service in the city. I wish I could give a higher rating, as the system won't let me. I rarely give reviews, but given the circumstances it would be rude as these two have put up with me.

Positive experience: You'll get a perfect haircut as long as they are not in a rush to get the next client in the chair. I had to wait 20mins past my booking time and then the haircut was rushed over 10mins and not as good as previously, due to the next client already waiting.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant hairdresser. I have been using mens emporium for a year now. Always good. Very consistent. I would not go anywhere else. I just get the standard short back and sides however it makes a big difference when Aaron cuts it with the scissors instead of just buzz cutting like you get at the barbers.
