Fantastic experience: I was visiting Aberdeen and searched for barbers, Mr Dunn came up top, so I decided to give it a try. Luke was really friendly and easy to chat to, but not over the top, which I liked. He listened to what I wanted and nailed it, really happy with the haircut. I live in Manchester and thought the price was fair for the quality and service. Would definitely recommend Luke and Mr Dunn.

Negative experience: It was 2 years ago when I pulled the trigger and treated myself on an expensive cut. This place came across coz of the good reviews. I only remembered again today, when I was flicking through our wedding photos. On the booking system, u have to choose a barber, I picked Nathan a young lad. He was a nice lad tbh, but unfortunately he completely messed up my trim on my wedding day. It’s definitely the worst haircut I have ever had. I have never been back since. It’s been 2 years now, so maybe he is good now? I’m only telling my experience as all my wedding photos was ruined. People till this day talking about my haircut instead of how amazing the day was. See the photos, one is taken by a pro camera and the other is a mobile phone, will let u be the judge.

As for the rest of Mr Dun's, it is a lovely, clean barbers and all of the staff were responsive, warm and welcoming. I'm not from the area but when I'm back I'll be sure to get booked in again.

Negative experience: One Star – Got Dunn Dirty, Literally I don’t normally leave reviews, but after what happened at Mr. Dunn’s, I feel morally obligated to warn the public. I asked for a simple clean-up—not a transformation into a public hazard. The so-called barber clearly had no clue what he was doing. Uneven sides, jagged neckline, random patch missing in the back like someone took a bite out of it. Honestly, someone with a National 3 in Cookery could’ve done a better job—with a bread knife, blindfolded. The whole cut felt rushed, careless, and borderline insulting. The man was practically leaning on me the whole time like I was his emotional support chair. I came in for a haircut and left with a personal crisis. Mr. Dunn didn’t just mess up—he Dunn me dirty. Avoid this place like a pothole at 60mph.

The place was a bit pricier than your average barber but it was well worth the money as the service and quality of the haircut were a big step up - I'll be back again for sure, and will be making better use of the refreshments next time round! Fantastic experience: Hands down the best men’s barber in town. I’ve been going to Mr Dunn’s since 2017 and they’ve succeeded in making me look business sharp and dating ready ever since. The only time I have strangers complimenting me on my beard is when I have myself groomed by the excellent team there. The barbers school is an excellent opportunity for people on a tight budget to get a £70 haircut and beard trim for £1. Again have never been disappointed! I would recommend to anyone who’s interested in optimising their appearance, to contact Mr Dunn’s and see the difference for yourself.

Fantastic experience: Dean was fantastic, he took his time with my son’s haircut and was gentle throughout. My Son is so happy with his first visit/haircut in a salon/barber. Will be back when he needs his next haircut, hopefully with less hair than Dean had to tackle today. My son is neurodivergent and doesn’t usually like his hair being cut but he commented that he wanted to return to Dean.

Negative experience: Don’t know why this place has so many great reviews. Had a very mediocre experience for the price I paid. Customer service was awful no smiles and very rushed hectic atmosphere .When I came in no one greeted me at first, it felt very unorganized and noisy. After someone finally asked me if I had an appointment I was sat down and waited 20 minutes. After that I received an admittedly good haircut though.Tried something new and unsure if it actually suits me now but has nothing to do with my barbers skills he seemed like he knew what he was doing. I don’t think the whole thing was worth the money I spent though.
