If you’ve booked an appointment, they make sure you’re seen on time and never feel rushed, which shows they genuinely respect your time. From my own experience, they always take the time to have proper conversations with you — not just small talk for the sake of it, but real, friendly chats that make the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. It’s clear they do this to make clients feel at ease and valued. They pay close attention to detail when cutting your hair, taking their time to ensure everything is even, neat and exactly how you asked for it. You can tell they take pride in their work. The shop is clean, sanitary and well looked after, which adds to the overall professional feel. I’ve never once left GOAT Barbers with a haircut I didn’t like. Every visit has been consistently high quality.

Fantastic experience: I have been here twice now and got a haircut from Mia first and then Jack. My hair is thinning and challenging to cut but they've both done an excellent job. I am confident the quality is consistent, so I can easily recommend this place. It is usually busy but you can kind of walk in during the weekdays, not really during the weekends. I walked in at around 5 pm and waited just a minute.

Negative experience: Booked 6:30pm with Paige and arrived 6:10pm, was asked if got appointment and replied yes and waited. 6:38pm, I stood up as Paige finished to cut another guy, and was taking pictures of his haircut. Then the guy, who I believe is Jack asked me: Do you wanna sit down? and I replied, I wanna go man it's late, and left. Very poor customer service.

Fantastic experience: Just had a trim up here, been in notts for 7 weeks, tried a couple other barbers in the area but this place is a cut above the rest. Told the barber (Mia) I was getting married on Friday and she went above and beyond to take the time to give me a 10/10 trim. She took her time to see any imperfections and correct them, most barbers just want you in and out asap. If I was living in the area longer this would be my go to barbers. Just to add I got a difficult head of hair to cut as well so it's deffo a challenge for any barber and she smashed it. It's a sigh of relief to find a good barber who does what you ask them to do, and with my travels it's always a nerve racking experience with new barbers. If your looking around at any other barber shops around, dont. Just go here, trust me. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: GOAT Barbers lives up to the name, hands down the best barbershop in Nottingham. The team here aren’t just talented barbers they’re genuinely great people. Every visit feels like catching up with mates, and the quality of the cuts is always spot on. They’ve looked after me and my son for years now, and we both walk out feeling fresh every time. The vibe in the shop is relaxed but professional, and you can tell they care about what they do. Service, style, atmosphere, they’ve nailed it. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Mia took excellent care of me. Thank you for the gentle and polite shave. Like me, I have coarse hair and a thick beard, which can be tiring for the shaver, but Mia shaved me without a single complaint, so thank you again. This is a shop everyone should try.

Positive experience: Overall I had a really positive experience at GOAT barbers, the fade was really good along with the beard trim. Mark who cut my hair was profesional and kept a tidy area to work in. Mark took time to clean after the client before me which unfortunately does not happen in all barbershops so that showed me he prioritised doing his job properly over rushing clients to earn more on walk ins. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact I had to use a razor to shave some longer hairs off just above where my beard line was shaped up on my cheeks when I got home. If there was a option I would give 4.9 stars as this was only a minor thing and I’m sure it is not a regular thing :)

Jack is fabulous, he’s so lovely and I have to say he cuts my hair perfectly. All of the guys and girls in there are so lovely and welcoming. From great music to amazing style in the barbers it’s just a lovely place to relax for 30-40 minutes. They also always have some sort of availability on the day or a few days after you may want a hair cut so no having to book in two to three weeks in advance just call up and they will fit you in.

Fantastic experience: I received excellent quality service when I arrived for my reservation I had placed earlier that evening. I went in for a hot towel wet shave, a treat I give to myself every couple of months when I just want to relax and detox, even if temporarily, from the daily struggles of life in these desperate and trying times. And I was in bliss the whole time. The barber who shaved my face was polite, professional, proficient at his craft, very good in conversation, and even had the chivalry to take my coat before starting and helping me put it back on once it was all said and done. No other barbershop I've been to has done that for me, so hats off to him and GOAT Barbers for treating their customers like royalty.
