Fantastic experience: Amazing experience, with my cuts & shave, I was very impressed by the atmosphere, the finish and genuine quality overall , already booked my two week touch ups on the regular. I would recommend to experience the royal barber shop.

Negative experience: Over priced, low quality cuts. It's like 60 bucks for sloppy shave. They didn't tell me the price when I walked in, I assumed it would be something ordinary... Oops.

Fantastic experience: Perfectly blended sides, clean edges, and a style that fits my son’s face so well. He hasn’t stopped smiling since the haircut. Excellent work Elias

Fantastic experience: 25 cent candy very good. The nice person at the desk gives you a small cup if you ask for one. The M&M machine gives out a lot pieces for each 25 cents. However, The Mike & Ike Machine for some reason hands out like 2 pieces, I wouldn't recommend it. The other 2 machines haven't been tried by me yet but I would assume that they are also good. Also they gave my brother a nice haircut. Yummy yummy candy candy taste good. 100/5 stars. YOU reading this should go here if you need a cut. Oh yeah they also have nice Halloween decorations during October.

Negative experience: Went for the first time for Hair cut with Ahmad. Absolutely rushed for my hair cut and even did not cut it properly. Very displeased. He was in so much rush to go to next customer when there were no customers waiting. He kept telling me he is very busy for the day and booked for whole day. If you can not manage stress to handle customers please don’t get much appointments but give service to customer who is there. Not recommended at all.

He had an amazing experience with Najeem — from the fresh haircut to the classic hot shave and all the extras in between. Every detail was professional, relaxing, and on point. He walked out looking (and feeling!) like a king, I think. ✂️✨ And the best part? While he was getting pampered, I got to enjoy the super-cool Speakeasy vibe tucked away in the back. Sipping on the included cocktail while soaking in the atmosphere and getting some work done, made it such a unique and fun experience for both of us. If you’re looking for more than just a haircut, this is the place. Royal Barbershop is all about the experience — and trust me, it’s one you’ll want to come back for!

Fantastic experience: One of the best haircuts I've ever had. Got an appointment same day. Was able to park my motorcycle right in front of the shop. Great atmosphere inside was offered a drink while I wait. They have a full bar but don't drink and drive. Everyone was nice and easy to talk to. The barber knew what he was doing and when I wasn't sure what I wanted made the right decision for me based on my head shape. I look great!! Thanks I'll be sure to come again.

Negative experience: We had a really disappointing experience here while visiting from out of town. My fiancé went in for a haircut and tried to politely suggest a few preferences, but was waved off by the stylist, who seemed impatient and uninterested in listening. He’s not very confrontational, so he didn’t feel comfortable pushing back. The result was a haircut that looked terrible and nothing like what he asked for. We had to go to a different barbershop to get it fixed a few days later. It seems to me this barbershop only does cookie cutter hairstyles and don't take their clients facial features and preferences into consideration at all, at least that's what happened to my fiance. After reading other reviews, it seems we’re not alone and seeing how unprofessionally the owner responds to unhappy customers makes it clear this business doesn’t value constructive feedback or customer satisfaction. I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone looking for a professional or respectful experience.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a quick cut while in town for the day. Called and asked if they had any space - they were fully booked but squeezed me in within the hour. The barber that took me, Hamed, gave me a great cut. Great atmosphere and chill vibes. Recommend this spot for sure.

Negative experience: Holly smokes!! I am just flabbergasted after my haircut today. The barber was nice to talk to, however, I don't appreciate the fact that he didn't lemme look at my haircut progress until the end which rendered me kind of speechless as he cut my hair too short . It could have been avoided if he had me facing the mirror the whole time!! A COMPLETE WASTE OF $$$ &TIME!! Today was my 7th time getting a haircut there. After today's experiment, he did to my hair will never bring me back there. It seemed he was more focused on having a next client!! DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED!! Mo_

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy going somewhere that you don't have to be specific. I just ask them to make my hair look good, and they do. Price is reasonable and service is usually quite quick, even taking walk-ins. I'll be going here from now on.

Elias was quick and gave me a great, quick haircut trimmed short very much like I like it, but better :-) Sam is another one who's quick and just seems to know what looks good on me. Unfortunately I didn't look as good as her but a close 2nd for sure! He straightened my hack job on my beard, sorted out my eyebrows and gave me a great haircut including a back of the neck shave! All of this for a last minute walk-in even taking his time and logging a few minutes after closing time. Today... this time by appointment... His professionalism was again 2nd to none... (Actually, the owner is also very cool, but he didn't cut hair). I've had two old-school mohawks done by Elias; and from the moment I left after my first cut (August 30), I've had nothing but compliments. To say it's bad-ass is an understatement. Negative experience: I asked for only an inch cut on the sides and to keep some length on the top but it was just uneven, too short and the guy that cut my hair just rushed it without good communication.

He's a tactician with clear cut battle lines and a master of the blade, both straight edge and motorized. His witty banter and engaging conversation draws you in while he plys his trade and will leave you wondering where time went by as suddenly you are left with marvellous results. His ability to fade even the most difficult of opponents is second to none and I can't recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: I'd rate Elias more than 5 stars if I could. It's always tough making a transition to a new barber and this has undoubtably been the best move. He is a perfectionist. It reflects in his work and he will stop you before leaving if he notices something is off. I've left previous places with longer strands that were heavily noticeable with other barbers before and they either didn't notice or didn't say anything. He also makes each cut entertaining and he's a VERY easy person to talk to. 6/5 stars for sure - he rocks!

Negative experience: One of their barbers messed up the back and didn’t even mention it to me for try to fix it. Moreover, he trimmed off the hair on my ear even though I never asked him to, which caught me off guard. Still charged me full price.

Fantastic experience: I took my 5 year old son for a haircut and we have been many times before. It is always great service, and we always book an appointment since they are busy. The haircut took probably 5 minutes, so fast, so I was impressed with the quality and speed of the haircut. All barbers we have had were so lovely dealing with my son and making sure he's comfortable. You pay a bit more, but it's worth the value for the speed and high quality of the haircut.

Negative experience: This experience is from a walk-in perspective: Staff who handled the desk and schedule were very friendly, even offered coffee during wait which was quite nice. Didn't wait long. Staff member who cut my hair made no attempt to talk or have any conversation during the haircut, which I get maybe not having a social battery but it just felt awkward. The haircut itself was very quick, the top was cut uneven and shorter than I asked. A visible patch is evident just behind my bangs where a spot was cut far too short. I can't style it the way I requested and just have to wait for it to grow out. Then to have pay a very large price tag for what felt like a rushed shoddy haircut felt insulting. Maybe if you make an appointment with specific barbers or maybe other barbers at this location put more effort into their cuts, but after this walk-in experience I won't recommend this location or return.

I have pretty sensitive skin and I didn't come out all red and cut up like usual. I showed up for 1 and I was out of there by 1:25 or sooner. Fantastic experience: I came home to NB to attend a family member's celebration of life. The owner Rob was able to fit me in the schedule without question. The shop is clean and professional with an awesome atmosphere. My barber was Nagem (Najim?) and he was excellent, and a true master with the straight blade. Negative experience: I am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with the appointment I had scheduled with Mr. C at your barbershop. I had specifically booked the appointment for Friday in order to have my hair cut before a ceremony I was invited to that same evening. However, upon arriving at the barbershop, I was informed that Mr. C was not working that day. I was taken aback by this news, as I had made the appointment well in advance and had received no prior indication that there would be any changes or cancellations. It is highly frustrating that I was not informed of this change in Mr. C's availability sooner, as it left me with little time to make alternative arrangements. Given the time-sensitive nature of my appointment, I had no choice but to allow someone else at the barbershop to cut my hair. Regrettably, I must say that I am extremely unsatisfied with the outcome. The haircut I received does not meet my expectations and has left me feeling dissatisfied with the overall experience at your establishment. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, leading to changes in schedules. However, it is essential for a business to communicate such changes promptly and effectively to its customers. Best wishes .................. Update after the owner response: 1. I didn't mention exactly the name of the staff, but for sure you know who I mean. However, that's not the case because that was the management problem not the staff. 2. You should consider another approach to address negative feedbacks!
