Fantastic experience: I've been going to this place since November 2025 and Ryan was always pleasant to talk to and have as a barber. There are two people that you would regularly deal with in life and you have to trust for routine maintenance and it is your mechanic and a barber. Ryan is a very good barber and he also did my son's first haircut and it looks fantastic. I highly recommend Ryan if you're looking for a barber. You won't regret it.

He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, and his attention to detail was excellent. I also really appreciated his advice on hair care, which showed his knowledge and genuine interest in helping me maintain my look.

Fantastic experience: Oh MA Studio, where do I even begin with you. It was a sunny day on September 23rd, I had just moved to Ottawa recently and had no friends or confidence and I was edging Homelessness. When I entered the shop I was nervous, quivering almost, but Nick welcomed me with a smile. Nick gave me a crispy dap up + a crispy cut. It was one of the better cuts of my life. I was new to the town and my barber took me in and made me felt like I belonged, something I don't think I've felt before. We talked about life while he took care of future mine. (with the cut of course) I walked out that barbershop with a fresh cut, smile, and confidence...something, I've never felt before. Now, I am a multi thousandaire as a Walmart floor manager and a aspiring fashionista. But Not above all, a frequent customer at Ma Studio with Nick the barber. Negative experience: Had an appointment with sunny. Arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time and was greeted by a staff member. Sat down and proceeded to wait 25 minutes past the appointment time, no staff member said anything to me at any point while waiting. Eventually just left. Terrible service would not try again

Fantastic experience: I went to MA Studio for my first time and got a fade, haircut, line-up, and beard from Sunny. The environment was very clean and welcoming by all of its staff members! Sunny, did not rush me, nor did he rush his own work of art, like most barbers do. He took his time, and followed all of my instructions, including giving me his input on what would look even better. He payed very close attention to detail, making the end result so satisfying, that I've now made him my new official barber, after having the same barber for the past 14 years! Sunny appeared to be very meticulous in everything he does; you can tell he has a passion for making his clients look much better walking out, than they did when they walked in! Everything is top notch, from the ambience of the shop, to the confidence boost reliably felt after a great haircut. I’d recommend booking an appointment online, their website is easy to navigate and rescheduling appointments is easy if needed. While I normally book with Michael, I booked with Jason recently as well and he did an equally great job.
