But he handled it perfectly and the result honestly exceeded what I asked for. It’s also really easy to style now, which I really appreciate. I can say they are the most hospitable and consistent barbershop in the city. RJ is a legend, and continued to impress me with his cuts every time. He understands head shape, hair type and what actually works for you. Whether that was a cut that let my curls shine or a tight cleaner cut that had plenty of texture. And when our schedules conflicted the other guys in the shop like Seth, JJ and Andrew, did a great job! They will be my first stop when I’m back in the country.

Fantastic experience: I tend to go to Toronto once or twice a month from brantford, found the Throne Barbershop on one of my adventures and decided to give it a shot. Walked in and even though they were busy, JJ was able to squeeze me in an hour later. JJ provided me an amazing haircut and since then I’ve been returning to Toronto now for my haircuts with JJ, who even with over booking issues has gone above and beyond to provide a great cut in a timely manner. I personally think if you’re on the fence trying them out, give it a shot and you won’t be disappointed!

The atmosphere is inviting and friendly, not intimidating at all. And the music was perfect. Ronald took his time and was super friendly and easy to talk to. Only downside was that I had to wait an extra 20 mins past my appointment time due to other late client queue times. Which caused me to be late for my other priorities afterwards. Also received a student discount for being a university student.

She really understands hair care and how to cut medium-longer length men’s hair in a way that it grows out exactly how you want it to. Throne is also a great atmosphere.
