I was looked after by Michele, a young yet highly professional barber. He took the time to understand my expectations, provided precise and competent advice, and executed the haircut flawlessly. I requested a full scissor cut, and the result was clean, accurate, and detailed. The service was completed with a post-cut shampoo and styling product application. Esperienza fantastica: Habe kurz vor Weihnachten online einen Termin bei Michele gebucht. Das hat super geklappt. Michele beherrscht sein Handwerk auf beeindruckende Art und Weise und sorgt mit seiner freundlichen Art für einen zuvorkommenden Service, wie ich ihn selten erlebt habe. Beim Erscheinen wurde ich direkt mit meinem Namen angesprochen und er bat mir einen Espresso an. Michele beriet mich sehr gut und beim konzentriert-ruhigen Schneiden meiner längeren Haare achtete er stets darauf, dass ich nie Haare in meinen Gesicht hatte. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und freue mich bereits auf meinen nächsten Schnitt!

While finishing up the previous gent, Michele offered me an espresso, nice. During the haircut, Michele was clearly focused on giving me the best experience possible. You can tell he loves his job and is passionate about it. After a short discussion we came to a conclusion and he began working his magic. After a quick mid-cut assessment, he suggested to go a tad shorter, and I agreed. This is what attention to detail is all about. All in all a five star experience. Lovely little shop, nice people working there, and the haircut is well executed. Will come again.

Rico und Michele sind beide super freundlich und professionell. Man wird herzlich empfangen, man bekommt direkt etwas zu trinken oder ein Espresso und die Atmosphäre ist allgemein authentisch italienisch. Genau was ich gesucht habe. The staff is always happy to welcome you with a good Italian espresso or some other drinks, provide hair and beard style recommendations if needed, and accommodate your request. The saloon is located in a historical building close to Wettsteinplatz, very cozy, super tidy and clean. You can book your appointment through the website: it's super easy and will save you time. Resultat ist da auch nicht schlecht, aber man wird regelrecht abgefertigt und als Mensch kaum wahrgenommen. Bei il Barbiere ist das komplett anders. Guter italienischer Espresso, warmer, herzlicher Empfang und du wirst als Kunde ehrlich wertgeschätzt. Zum ersten Mal habe habe ich mich beim Haarschnitt und Bartschneiden ENTSPANNT. Es ist wie Wellness. Ich bin bei Guiseppe, der einen fantastischen Job macht. Präzise und leidenschaftlich. Das gibt einfach 5 Sterne, besser geht es nicht!

Esperienza fantastica: I went in for a beard trim with Giuseppe today for the first time and it was a great experience throughout. From the easy online booking to the actual trim and shave everything went swimmingly. After a welcome authentic Italian espresso, Giuseppe went about with the beard trim in the traditional way, mostly with scissors and finishing details with a trimmer. Then a hot towel and a straight razor shave. Great music at the shop rounded off the whole experience, which took me back to the times of the classical barber. Will definitely go back.
