The hygiene standards here are absolutely disgusting – it’s clear they don’t sanitize their tools between clients. Now I have to spend money on treatment just to fix my scalp because of their negligence. Save yourself the stress, embarrassment, and risk of infection. Avoid this place at all costs.

Expérience négative: I’ve been going here since around February and always had a decent experience. Never an amazing haircut but it’s to be expected for a walk-in with the prices that they offer. You get what you pay for at this place. Yesterday I went in for a haircut and there was a new person that I hadn’t seen before. I told him what I wanted and he instantly cut my bangs differently than what I had asked for. At this point I was uncomfortable but I just told him I’d try to pull off a new haircut (literally had no choice regardless). He offered to cut more hair off and I told him I think he had already cut too much off. He then accidentally put a 3 guard on the shaver instead of a 4 that I asked for. I noticed this but didn’t say anything and neither did he. I was in shambles at this point. When he started to clean up around my ears he gouged so much hair off one side and not the other. Overall my haircut looks TERRIBLE. Easily the worst haircut I’ve EVER had in my life. I will admit that 4 out of the 5 barbers do a good job. But if you land the one I got yesterday you will be shambled and chopped up. I won’t be returning. At this point I just want a barber I can depend on and this is not the place to go for a consistently good haircut. Like I said, the price you’re paying for is what’s to be expected - nothing much.

Expérience positive: I went here on Thursday afternoon. There were two guys working — an older gentleman and a mid-30s guy, I think. The person who cut my hair smelled strongly of cigarettes, which wasn’t great. He spent most of the haircut either checking his phone or staring out the front window. I asked for a specific style that included a hard line — for anyone unfamiliar, a hard line is a clean, sharply defined part shaved into the hair to create a distinct separation between sections of the haircut. The hardline was not thin as it should be, not symmetrical nor straight. Unfortunately, the quality just wasn’t there. Maybe if he had focused on what he was doing for more than a few seconds at a time, it might have turned out better. Not sure if i would go back.

There was no shaving cream, no hot towel — nothing. Just a dry face, a blow dryer to dry off my skin, and a straight razor. It was careless and painful. I ended up with a deep cut that bled badly. Even worse, there was no proper first aid or concern shown. Just a quick wipe and a casual “you’ll be fine.” No apology. No accountability. The haircut was uneven, clearly rushed, and done without any attention to detail. On top of that, the atmosphere made it obvious I wasn’t really welcome. It felt like if you weren’t “one of their own,” your experience didn’t matter. Heading downtown for this kind of treatment was a complete waste of time. Accidents might happen anywhere, but professionalism, hygiene, and respect should be standard — and this shop had none of it.
