I’ve lived in Irvine for 23 years and I’ve never experience another barber shop that comes even within MILES of this place. Mike the owner is incredible as well as Rachel and the rest of the staff there. There’s no way I’m going anywhere else. The incredible level of hospitality makes you feel almost guilty for choosing any other place. You can tell everyone else getting their cuts feels the same (this place was packed!!) Definitely the only place I’m coming for my cuts going forward.

Experiencia negativa: They take your credit card on file so they can charge you if you're 15 minutes late, yet they make you wait 30 minutes for a booked appointment without any communication. Their cheapest haircut is $80. Hypocrisy and ridiculous prices.

Selfishly I'd love to not recommend him so it will be easier to book times with him, but he's just really good. It's a cool space to talk music, cars, fashion with the haircutters / reception. Professional, high attention to detail, not trying to be a hip spot that soccer moms bring their teenagers. Has all the expected amenities for a place of this caliber (beverage on entry, hot towel service, shaving services, extremely competent haircutters).

Experiencia negativa: I am extremely disappointed with the haircut my son received. I showed the stylist a very clear picture of the hairstyle I wanted, but not only was it not followed, the result was completely ruined. My son had long hair that he had been growing out, and instead of styling it as requested, the stylist cut it very short in an uneven and unprofessional way. The haircut looks nothing like what was asked for, and now there is nothing that can be done to fix it. This experience was very upsetting, and I would not recommend this place at all.

I came in as a walk-in once, showed him a picture of my old haircut from my previous stylist (before I moved to Orange County) and on the very first cut, he got it right exactly what I wanted. I’ve been searching for a new barber for over 4 years now. After trying many other barbers and barbershops in the area, and being largely disappointed by all of them, I’ve found my guy. Maher is quiet and unassuming, but never disappoints. He’s legit.

I can recommend Harold's and Rachel.

Not even my backup barbers are there, and don’t get me started on the prices. I get we are in Irvine, but a 80 dollars for a fade….. Come on. What a joke. I can go else where and pay someone with a tip and be under 80.

They sent me an email with their promotions; however, when I booked an appointment to get my haircut, they called me on the same day that I booked, which is today, February 21, 2025, to inform me that the 20% promo discount only applies to people who book between 10 a.m.-12 p.m. This is not how a business should be operated: very poor business mentorship and marketing. I will never go back there and would NOT recommend anyone to go and get a haircut there.

Not only does she have to work against his like 20 cowlicks and curly hair, she has had to convince him using the 3 guard all the way around is not a hair style. He has been seeing Jen for a little over 2 years now. He was lucky to find her on his second or third try in looking for his forever barber. We will probably follow her whenever she works because she’s just that good.
