Experiencia positiva: Mac's is great! If you go on a Saturday, they've typically got 4-6 stylists ready to help. Get there early, because there is a wait and they aren't open all day. Cash and cards are accepted and they have great pricing ($15 for a basic cut). Never had a bad cut here, but have had plenty of bad cuts elsewhere over the years. As an added bonus, they'll give you a straight razor cut on your neck and finish with a warm towel.

Experiencia negativa: Worst haircut I ever got. I asked for scissor cut and did not get it. Hair was cut so short on sides of my head you could see my scalp. You get what you pay for I guess. Just moved here and really bad experience. If you want a fast haircut this is the place to go. I did notice it until I got home and my wife said what happened to your hair?

Experiencia fantástica: I started going to Mac’s six weeks ago; weekly for a shave and every other week for a haircut. First of all, I was incredibly fortunate that the first barber with whom I was dealing with was Ian. I’m sure the other barbers are exceptionally talented, but Ian is and will be my go to. Secondly, Mac’s is an old school barbershop. You like nostalgia and easy going, Mac’s has got it. I only wish appointments were available. The wait time can sometimes be onerous.

If you’re like I was, tired of all these new age hipster shops requiring an appointment and then charging $40+ for the equivalent of a “Sports Clips” cut, then Mac’s is for you.

Experiencia fantástica: Macs got me right thank you please read all- that being said here’s how I ended up there… My regular stylist is on vacation, so I decided to support a local shop grand opening, never been to this shop I won’t name, long story short I think I was that person first hair cut, I have a simple men’s hair cut and could have cut it better myself. Truly and hair is not my profession, I have headshots at work on Thursday, needless to say I’m freaking out, so I searched another local shop that had a 10yr+ reputation. Not only did they fix the previous hair cut but did it just as a solid!! Wouldn’t take my money, so whether it’s your first cut or fixing a mistake from another I highly recommend Mac’s and hope this post brings you many many clients!!

Experiencia fantástica: I am 24 years old and have been a great clips guy my entire life. Last week I was in desperate need of a haircut, before we take our vacation. I asked my gf for her recommendation and without hesitation, she said Mac's. Literally less than a 3 minute drive from the house. The hospitality in the shop is immaculate. I walked in. Put my name on the sign in sheet. And next thing I know. The guy that was sitting on the bench put front came in behind me, looked at the sheet and says "JAMES!!" *my names Jarrod, but he was definitely looking for me* I correct him and he says "Sorry, they didn't teach us how to read at Karns". Amd after that I knew it was gonna be good. He was very social and approachable. Me and my gf are both on the spectrum and struggle in that area a bit lol. But he made it easy and comfortable. He incorporated her into the cut. Especially when the 4 inch beard hit the floor, lol. Overall. Tyler if you're reading this the cut was great, the atmosphere was great. And the price was so good. I showed up w the expectation of paying 3x what he charged me. I got a good haircut and conversation. And Mac's Barbershop got a new loyal customer.

I arrived about 10 minutes before they actually opened. Doug took me right away! Loved the atmosphere and decor of the shop! Very retro and sports themed. Great haircut. Better than most high end shops. Gave me exactly what I asked for. Neck shave and hot towel to the scalp was a great finish! Can't beat the price! I wish you luck in your move! They are down to earth, no nonsense, and know exactly what you want, and can get you a great cut and razor shave in 15mins or less that’s better than 90% of what anywhere else in town can do.
