Experiencia positiva: i've been going here for a while for just regular trims but i have to say the stylists are very inconsistent. i know part of it is on me, i should have spoken up. but i went in for a very routine trim, telling my stylist i didn't want to lose length and just wanted a healthy look (with reference pictures), but now i'm sitting with hair thats more than 2 inches shorter (and with curls its brutal with shrinkage). she brushed through my natural ringlets with little to no care for tangles or my natural texture, ignored the fact i booked with a shampoo, and doused me with the spray bottle while going crazy with a razor, not even scissors. this was supposed to be a birthday trim and now i'm pretty upset at the significant amount of growth and length lost. really hit and miss. like. REALLY. good for a trim if you don't really care how the length comes out afterwards i guess. i'll most likely find a salon for the future after this experience.

Experiencia negativa: If your hair matters for your work (actor, model, etc) I can’t recommend this place. The last 2 times my husband has gone here, they’ve cut his hair an INCH or more too short despite him being clear and even showing them inspo pictures. Instead of doing a mid-length cut, they did a normal guy haircut... He hates how it looks and now won’t match his headshots for several months.

Experiencia negativa: Beware of getting your haircut by Jasmine R. This lady is a complete train wreck!! She was extremely aggressive with the shears when cutting my hair. She failed to follow simple directions and immediately made a mistake she admitted too. I ended up with a completely different haircut than what I normally get because she needed to fix her mistake. And to make matters worse she giggled about it. Stay clear of this witch. She needs to get fired! I've been going to Floyds in Burbank for many years. I'll never return to that place. Never again!!!

Experiencia negativa: Kinda bummed... seemed like a cool shop until they over charge you for the service provided. As a barber from the east coast, I would have never charged $38 for a less than 7 minute appointment. There was not full beard service. It was a straight number 2 clip all over with trimmer all over... no fading, no straight razor. Not cool Richard.

I wanted a high fade comb over with very little taken off the top since it needs to be a little longer for the style. Then he asked some follow up questions to make sure he understood what I was going for and gave me one of the best cuts I’ve had! Highly recommend Richard.

Experiencia negativa: This is a DISGUSTING place. I have to modify my original post. I had ended up at Floyd's,( In Pasadena), because my Barber of 20 year's all of a sudden was late for my appointments and he was cutting my hair terribly and way to short. I accidentally discovered Floyd's one day as I was shopping. I went home and checked them out online. I booked an appointment and it was with a woman stylist, so when I went in and gave my name and her name the receptionist told me my appointment was with Tommy G that was a red flag I ignored. I will say the haircut was great. I rebooked with him for a Saturday two weeks later for 2pm. I went in, right on time, and there was a woman in his chair with clips in her hair and Tommy G was drying some of her hair. I said to the male receptionist I had an appointment at 2 and asked if Tommy G was running late. This person had zero personality and told me yes he was busy and I asked how long is the wait? His response to me was about 10, 15 minutes. I thought no way and remember my experience with my prior Barber always late and I told Tommy G about it. I rescheduled for Monday and by the way Tommy G should have acknowledgd me and apologized perhaps Nope! Guess what Tuesday's appointment for 1pm comes and I am right on time. I get there and a man is in his getting his hair done and I instantly became angry. I explained the situation to the RUDE receptionist, young girl , but she could care less. I asked her what was the point of making an appointment, no response from her. I said okay how long she didn't give me a time, but did tell me he was doing a wash and blow out??? I was fuming, but said okay I will go to a store and ran directly across the street. In the 10 min I was gone they called to tell me Tommy G was ready for me, but I missed their call. I will say I have a record of the call including the time and they are really horrible there and don't tell the truth. They are not about personal service or quality instead it is about numbers and getting as many people as possible in their chair!!! I leave the store, running almost get hit by a car, get to the salon and now there was a different man sitting in Tommy G's chair getting his hair done. I looked at the receptionist and asked are you serious??? She responded, FACE STIFF , we couldn't find you, so I gave him another client. I asked her when is he available next, that day , she said he is booked for the rest of the day. I then asked okay when is anyone available next and she said they are all booked. THIS IS SO WRONG!!!!! I asked if their was a manager there and if so may I speak with her or him? The RUDE receptionist walked to the back and stood at a door entrance talking with someone. She came back to me and said my manger is eating her lunch and will be available at 3:30pm and it was 1:17pm and remember my appointment was at 1:00pm. I don't think I can remember ever going through something like this or treated so badly by so many different employees and THE MANAGER. I was so upset, but I got in my car and called Floyd's in Burbank and told the REALLY NICE receptionist what happened and she made an appointment for me , same day , with McKynlie. I also bought a special package they had because Pasadena didn't tell me about any specials. She actually fixed Tommy G's cut, because it really was not that great. I am so glad that the Floyd's in Pasadena is completely not visible because I do not ever want to see that HORRIBLE place again. Lucianna

Experiencia fantástica: Stephanie is THE BEST. She knows how to work with my unruly curly hair and is such an expert with color. Oh yeah and she’s FAST and super communicative! You do have to go in for a consultation prior to getting color, but her price and time estimate was right on the dot. I had to work in the evening and it calmed my anxiety around being late. Also, Marielle (sp?) at the front desk is awesome! So friendly and remembers everyone. I’ve been to a few Floyd’s and the Burbank one is my favorite.

When we arrived they said they put us back to back because one of the stylists had called out. They didn’t contact me before- just assumed it would be okay. We have a jam packed day and this doesn’t work for us so now I have to find a last minute place that can squeeze me in. Will definitely not be back!

Experiencia negativa: Showed the guy what I had and just wanted the same haircut, he hacked it up so bad, had to go back in once I was in the car as one side was way longer then the other, the front is shorter then the rest of the top, whole thing is stupid looking said I wanted it all choppy like I had it and it’s all one length puff ball. It was really long and had tons to work with. Guy couldn’t cut it should have been honest, I paid the 42 and even left a 10.00 tip because I didn’t think it was going to be as bad as it is but once I got home realized just how bad it was worst haircut of my life. "stylist" didn't even show me the back so had to wait until i got home. uneven, patchy and unprofessional looking. will be going somewhere else to get it fixed asap but i'm embarrassed i have to look like this all weekend.

Greg was attentive to my skin conditions, funny, kind, and patient with me. He is only there Fri-Sun, book GREG if you can. This location is ALWAYS amazing. Their website scheduling wasn't working for me, they booked me over the phone with no problem. I got there and needed a barber, I was matched with one immediately. Greg was a pleasant surprise of an experience! He does regular hair appts too!!!! Talk about talent! Will keep coming back and always recommend ppl to this location.

Experiencia negativa: So, here’s the lowdown on my recent trip to Floyd’s 99 barbershop in Burbank. I went in for a regular haircut with Stephanie, hoping for a fade from 0 to 3. Usually, they nail this with a combo of trimmers and scissors, but this time, it fell short. Stephanie mainly trimmed the top, leaving my head looking less than stellar. Plus, her vision for what would look good seemed a bit off. I tried to guide her through it, but even after multiple attempts, it just wasn’t hitting the mark. Overall, I left feeling pretty dissatisfied. If you’re particular about your hair, this might not be the spot for you. However, if you’re not too fussed, it could still be worth a shot. Just a heads-up, it set me back $38, and I opted not to leave a tip this time around. I also have an attached picture that I showed her the way I wanted to have and my photos the way I got it. Hope this helps, mates!

Experiencia negativa: I waited a good while to write this review to let the hair cut settle in and I’ve unfortunately come to the conclusion that it’s just a bad cut. I walked in after having made an appointment and was sat with a stylist who was not the woman I selected online. She was lovely to talk to and a great time so I gave her my trust, and when I described what I wanted she seemed confident, even pushed away my phone, not needing to see a picture. However the cut was the opposite of what I wanted, it’s choppy and layered when I wanted something trendier and more similar to a flow. I spent so much time growing out my hair and feel like I’m back at square one now. Truly sad. Which I could say I had a better w experience.

I felt pampered to the extreme getting a haircut here. I never really know what to do with my hair, so I love that I can tell them a general idea of what I'd like and they take over with suggestions. I got a cut from McKynlle and felt like I was in the most trusting hands in the world. I cannot recommend this place enough! Update, just had a cut by Dava, and she left me feeling brand new and gosh I love this place, the royal treatment everytime!!!! I cannot recommend this place enough! Ask for DAVA!
