Experiencia fantástica: As aleays, Mikalah did an excellent job cutting and styling my hair. Because my hair is difficult to cut and make lay down, Im pretty particular as to who cuts it. When I find someone that understands my hair I stick with them. Mikalah knowledge of hair is amaxing. I would certainly HIGHLY recommend her to anyone that wants a professional cut and style.

First appointment of the day, Kia was bright and alert with a welcoming attitude and outgoing personality. Kia engaged me immediately upon entering the business, asked to take my coat, determined the style I wanted, seated me, and got right to it. Eight years of hair growth hit the floor, leaving me looking fresh with an updated appearance. If you can't tell, I enjoyed the service. I will be returning.

She checked with him several times to make sure he was ok, told him they could take a break if he needed to get the wiggles out, and gave him a fidget toy to keep him occupied. Plus she gave him the full treatment with hot towel for his face, hair wash, and shoulder massager. 10/10 recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I had the genuine pleasure of working with the most amazing stylist I have ever had cut/style my hair. I was greeted promptly with a great big smile and warm welcome at the South Campbell location in Springfield Missouri by the stylist/barber (KIA). She reviewed (with me) how I like my haircut, and gave me some wonderful suggestions that would improve my initial request. (As I haven't updated my style in quite sometime) Being that she is the professional and was so very kind when she greeted me, I advised her that I trust her decision(s) and would let her "do what she thinks is best". Long story short, I have never been more pleased with a hair service in my entire life. There are not enough positive things to say about KIA and the entire South Campbell (Springfield Missouri) location. If you haven't been, I highly recommend you give them a try (you'll be glad you did), and remember to ask for KIA.... She has a big smile, you can't miss her.. 10 STARS!!

I have really tricky, awkward, wavy/frizzy and I’ve never been to a barber and walked away 100% happy, but Mia always works with it and nails it every time. Every cut I’ve had has been totally tailored to me: my face, my hair type, how it will grow out etc. her attention to detail is amazing. She also always addresses every challenge I mention - from dryness to curls going flat, frizz in the summer and my old habit of relying on hairspray for volume. Really takes the time to show me how to do it too. She’s completely changed how I treat my hair and its never looked more healthy, natural and styles exactly how I want it. She does way more than just a haircut. Bonus: also VERY easy to chat with, always have great convos together! Cheers Mia!!!

Every time I go here I feel like a different man they offer all sorts of cuts and give an option for $15 to let a barber teach you more on how to handle your hair which really helped me keep my hair healthy and styled the way I love it. The best Barber here is David I always go only to David he is amazing at cutting hair and all sorts of other stuff. With just a picture I was able to get exactly what I wanted to. This place has been my favorite for 4 years and forever will continue to be my favorite.

For starters, Kia fit me in for a haircut and a beard trim right before they closed and without me having any appointment! I didn't expect to get my haircut today, but I thought I'd try just because I've got an important meeting tomorrow, and Kia hooked me up! I can't tell you how much I appreciated that! She did a great job on my haircut and the beard trim! She's also a REALLY LIKABLE & PERSONABLE stylist, and Kia is super easy to visit with during your time together. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KIA! I WILL USE HER AGAIN IN THE FUTURE!

Experiencia negativa: I had paid $62 for a haircut. I asked for the most experienced barber. I showed the barber what I wanted and it took maybe 30 minutes in total. I didn’t realize till I left and showered how bad the cut was. Awful blending on the sides, the front isn’t even. What I asked for and what I got. The front is rlly choppy. To the shop owner who gave me a call, I was charged previously to the appt. I have the bank statement. I was not comp but I would like a refund.

Experiencia negativa: I took my 10 year old son in for a haircut, wanting the true barber experience for him. It only took about 15 minutes. They did not wash his hair, no hot towel, or massage. His face, neck, ears, and shirt were covered in hair. When I asked if they could please get the hair off his face they acted put out as if I was really asking for a big favor. Very disappointing service for a $28 haircut.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my 13 month old in for his very first haircut at the Campbell location today. He has stranger danger pretty bad and is very active and wiggly so I was prepared for the worst. Steven took the time and extra measures to make sure he felt comfortable like letting him touch the clippers and putting them up to his ear first before putting them to his hair to make sure that the sound didn't scare him. Much to my shock, Brody did not fuss once and came out of it with an absolutely perfect hair cut. Which I feel like is a feat in and of itself to accomplish on a 13 month old. Another friendly barber (not sure of his name) held Brody and when Brody reached for him. I can't say how happy I am with the experience, and with Brody's first hair cut.

Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment here to get my haircut about 10 days before my wedding. When making the appointment I asked for someone with plenty of experience that way I don’t get a bad haircut for my wedding. I also asked for someone that is available 10 days after the initial appointment to fix anything that could’ve got messed up. I was put with a kid named Steven who completely butchered my head. In the middle of the haircut.. which was very awkward because these kids these days don’t know how to communicate with people. I asked him “so you’re going to be available on this day right before the wedding?” His response was “no, I’ll be out of town. I’m not here then.” Found this out in the middle of getting my haircut. So did they listen to what the customer asked for? Or did they just set me down in a seat to get a haircut. When he finally finished, he had taken so much off that there wasn’t any room to correct anything. When making the appointment, when getting my haircut, none of this was what I asked for at all. I surely will not be back. I’d rather get my haircut at Walmart then come back to this place.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is phenomenal. The barber, Ethan, was so good, haircut and shave were very well done. Ethan was also compassionate regarding my husband's mobility and breathing difficulties. We have already made another appointment with him! So very pleased with everything.

Experiencia fantástica: We came here due to our appt at the Lost boys in Hollister, Mo decided not to take us in due to being late. I called in in advance & let them know, they gave us 10 min to get there, and when we arrived they still turned us away. We lived 45 min away, so it was bummer. We called Springfield when googling other barbers in the area, & I loved the look, and the review ratings and length of experience at Hudson & Hawk Barber shop. Called them up and they booked us in an hour. So because we were halfway there, we drove another 45 min. Worth the drive. It was very important to me, for my son to get the treatment he deserved. He had long hair & bc it was at the length to donate for cancer kids, he was ready for the transformation. This place gave such a gentlemen’s vibe, it reminded me of the experience we had in Montana. We had Mia and she was wonderful. I let her know what we were doing and the inspiration we were going with. I asked permission bc I did like to video and take pictures to post on our insta (thechapmans72317) & she was totally down. When explaining to the gentleman who we booked at lost boys, gave me this spill about how the length of my sons hair was just going to take too long etc and went on about something else. I saw a kid at his chair, he took a walk in, and made it a big deal about his long hair. I get it- just say that. It clearly wasn’t a problem with Mia, and she was even willing to do the most for him. This experience wants me to continue to come back here and continue doing business. Mia educated me on the pomade they used and the difference of pomade (company: first hand supply) and how to sleek down my sons hair. Educated me on the part where his hair will stick due to where the cut and how it would lay till growing out etc. overall 5 Stars! Thank you so much! Check out video experience on our insta

Super knowledgeable and patient with teaching me how to style it too as Ive never had super short hair. After being sick so much in the last few years my hair just never quite grew back very well and is thin but she gave me a stylish cut that is fun and flattering. Tysm will be back again!

Experiencia negativa: This location turned my opinion of the Hudson Hawk brand. Previously I just couldn't find the right personality for me leaving every visit feeling unfulfilled and hair that I didn't like, hated on one occasion. Figured I'd try one more time and visited the Campbell store still concerned of the capabilities but once engaged it was an immediate 360° change of heart. The stylist engaged me and without any hesitation knew what I needed When I stood up I was speechless that she just knew exactly what would make me feel good and I left feeling great. Kudos to Heather and the staff. Edit 11/29/22 - seems I may have been a bit early in my praise; 2 appointments in a row my stylist needs to reschedule and they have zero openings for me, yay LOL....down we go.....

Experiencia negativa: The owners of this business should be a shamed of them selves . For the huge amount of money they make off the backs and hard fork of there employees. They continue to be to cheap , to fix the Ac in the Campbell street shop correctly. EVERYTIME I go in there and pay 40 plus dollars for a hair cut the Ac. Has issues or I have to go to another store. Owners Thad and Paul live in million dollar houses but won’t spend the money to take care of there employees basic needs ….REALLY … you to men should be very very ashamed of your selves for not caring or fixing the problem completely. What’s it gonna take, a customer having a heat stroke , or one of your stylist falling out from the work condition. Well I’ll tell you I’m a 70 yr old man with millions of dollars. If I fall out do to your lack of business sense and poor building management. I’ll spend a whole lot on litigation to sue you and own your company. Than maybe you will think about it bf your greed out weighs your common sense and humanity!
