Has to be the worst haircut my sons ever received, he asked for a mid-taper blowout, with a textured fringe asking specifically to “not cut any off the top” and not only did he cut hair off of his top, he practically gave him a buzz cut! And for the mid taper blowout? He literally just gave him a skin fade all around! My son came home crying from school that he got bullied for his haircut, I do not recommend these services to anyone!

Experiencia negativa: I specifically made an appointment with Bradley Todd, the curly hair specialist, who is either lying to everyone about his talents or was having a really bad day yesterday. He didn’t cut and style my curly hair; he just cut it off with the exception of the hair on the back of my head- maybe he thought I wanted a mullet. I had to tell him repeatedly I didn’t want a mullet. I escaped with a 3rd grade fade that I never wanted or asked for - Bradley just did it and then blamed it on “misunderstandings.” Brad didn’t listen and didn’t seem to care. The most energy he showed was telling the person ringing me up all the services he provided. TLDR: Brad did not listen to how I wanted my hair cut or styled. He cut all my curly hair off and left me a terrible fade. Disaster.

Joseph, the manager, took care of my cut and gave me a clean fade on the sides — but what really stood out wasn’t just the haircut, it was the entire experience he created. Joseph immediately built great rapport, had an easy and engaging conversation, and made me feel like I’d been a regular for years. He didn’t just offer a service — he introduced me to Floyd’s in a way that made it feel like home. He also recommended some great products at the end, but it never felt pushy — just helpful and genuine. Because of Joseph alone, I would recommend Floyd’s to my friends, family, and colleagues. He’s a prime example of how to build clientele, reputation, and lasting relationships — the kind of foundation that helps a business thrive for generations. Floyd’s is lucky to have him.

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed with my experience at Floyd’s. I came in for a simple trim to remove dead ends while my husband was getting his haircut. I didn’t want my hair washed, so they sprayed it with water. My hair is long and thick, but instead of carefully detangling it, the stylist combed it forcefully from top to bottom. This caused the tangles to bunch up at the ends, making them worse, and she then yanked the comb through, which definitely caused damage. After 30 minutes of aggressive detangling, she cut my hair in under 5 minutes and left me walking out with soaking wet hair full of leave-in conditioner. At home, I also noticed the haircut was uneven, one side is clearly longer than the other. I’ve had my hair cut in many places around the world and have never experienced this kind of service. The stylist didn’t seem experienced with long hair, and overall, the service felt rushed and careless.

Experiencia negativa: Do yourself a favor and save your money. I unfortunately booked a shampoo haircut and blowDry came in, got sat with a girl who chopped up my hair unevenly. I was only supposed to cut to split ends off and simple bangs. And it looks like crap, and totally rushed work. Then she put me with another stylist to get my hair blow-dried, becase my own hairstyles that I started with didnt wanna complete the job that she started. She ended working on a coloring book instead of focusing on her own work. Friendly reminder save your money and go to a hair salon that cares.

Price I was told over the phone prior to coming for the sides to be trimmed and beard was $42 was surprised at the end when it ended up being a $62 service, the quality of the cut and beard clean up was not worth $62. I only had the sides shortened and beard lined up, not even trimmed. While the stuff was friendly I am disappointed overall.

I get the skin fade and a beard trim and for 60 dollars you’d be better off going pretty much anywhere else. I’m over this place.

Don’t get me wrong, everyone is really nice and the conversation was great! However, at the end of the day I came for a haircut and I’m paying for a service, not to socialize. $40 and it looks like I just got out of bed.

I have never cried after a haircut until I got my hair cut here. I had asked for long layers with shorter hair and I was given the shortest layers that were all over the place. It looked like a mushroom haircut over a bob. I'm so insecure about my hair because of this place. My hair is choppy and ugly and i was turned away from the mirror the entire time so I wasn't able to stop her from cutting my hair. I wasted 57 dollars on the ugliest haircut ever. Never ever ever coming here again. I never write reviews but this was so bad that I just had to. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

The employees, the desk person and all barbers looked friendly and my own was super professional and attentive to our needs. The quality of the haircut. The process of getting my 2 year old grandson into the chair and the actual cutting and end result, all were flawless. Asked for a slight trim of my chin. Cut off three inches. At least. He had me laid back the entire time. So now I know what my clippings taste like. I asked him to square it up. First look was a half circle. He trimmed a bit more but the damage was done. The straight edge on my check is a zig zag. Awful job. Didn’t listen. Don’t go. One positive note: the young lady at the register heard me out like a pro. Kudos to her.
