Experiencia fantástica: Best barbershop in town! Right when you walk in it feels like you’re entrenched in an awesome vibe environment. The service is top notch! The Butcher is the man! Kids been going to Josh and they couldn’t be happier with their cuts! The only place we go!

Experiencia positiva: Had an awesome beard a few years ago and went to a guy that said he was a beard barber…. Well, he wasn’t. Took me months to recover from the hack job. I have since shaved the beard and ventured into the mustache. I found this place who offers beard trimming on their site. Cool, imma try it. Apparently not everyone in the shop knows what to do with facial hair. When I told the stylist I just wanted to shape it, that meant shave it. She went right over it with the clippers and was like oh? My bad. Welp, its only 1 month of stash to grow back right? Im sure plently of people know what they are doing in there. I suggest going in and interviewing your barber first. Not gonna tank this review due to one stylist, but be aware.

Experiencia negativa: I had high hopes for this place when I came in a booked an appointment. The lady at the front desk was fantastic BTW. However, the end result is far from great. I had Heidi cut my hair. I have long hair and wanted a trim with an undercut. She originally failed to give me an undercut and once she showed me my hair I had to reiterate what I was wanting. She did “attempt” an undercut (which is not straight) but I feel she rushed the whole cut. She didn’t even trim the top of my hair, just the back. I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. And I was told that since I have long hair it’s about an hour appointment. I don’t want to completely discount this shop, but I feel I got someone who shouldn’t be here.

Super cool experience and he even made my hubby look like a distinguished gentleman instead of a grizzly bear! What's even cooler is this a family business...it's all hands on deck. Bro took literally the whole back out and didn’t even blend my fade bro i literally went out with the homies and was clowned on all day from how bad the cut was. I feel finessed the cut itself took 7 mins bro and cost me $60 im not gonna expose the barber but yall need to learn your craft before you cut.

Fortunately, Amanda at the front desk was very accomodating and was able to find me an opening shortly after my arrival. I was extremely blessed to have Sammy as my barber, who was considerate of my requests, who also showed exceptional talent with the results of my cut. I typically have a hard time finding a barber that can work with my hairline, but Sammy not only listened to my concerns, but also had no issue with getting my hairstyle looking right. Thanks to Sammy, this will be the first barbershop I consider in the future and I highly recommend others come here to start off 2026 with a clean, new look. The stylist himself was careless and unprofessional. He seemed more interested in his female colleagues then the client and the step by step video I tried to show him of the haircut I asked for. Experiencia negativa: Extremely disappointed. I got the hair cut and beard trim for $70 that had a planned duration of 1 hr. The barber rushed and got it done within 15 mins. Both my haircut and beard are uneven. The barber himself seemed like he didn’t even want to be there. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Experiencia positiva: I booked a haircut, the guy who was going to cut my hair was running behind. It happens, I understand. The girl suggested to hair get a haircut with a different person because the barber was falling behind and his next appt had arrived. Ok that’s fine, I went with a different guy and he did a great job. The reason I’m giving a 3 is because when I paid they charged 50 bucks for a regular haircut, I thought it was 40 for a haircut and I asked the girl if they raised the prices and she’s like yeah we did. So I paid but then I get home and I see they changed my appt to a skin fade taper thru an email notification. I didn’t get a skin fade I got a regular haircut. I checked their site .. haircut is 40 bucks and the skins fade is 50. Idk why they switched it but it’s not okay, I know it’s only 10 bucks but it’s the principle. It’s disappointing because I like going here.

My brother recommended this place to me, so I decided to give it a try. I got a haircut and a close shave courtesy of Josh, and in the nearly 8 years since I’ve lived in Vegas, it’s easily the best haircut experience I’ve had. My barber, Josh, was super chill and did a fantastic job to make sure I looked my best for my big day. I highly recommend booking him if you want to look your best. It’s certainly a lot pricier than going to Great Clips or Sportclips, but you get much better service for your money here.

Experiencia positiva: I will start off with the good. Great haircut from Heidi. The place is very appealing loved the atmosphere and decor. The price was good 80.00 plus 20.00 gor a tip. Now the bad since I had a few weeks growth the started off with electric clippers. Then a lotion then lather. The 1st hot towel applied then a final lather. My Eyes were covered with a dry towel. Then she started to shave. When she reached my left side razor was tugging on the skin. I mentioned I think we lost lubrication. The end result was mediocre. I asked to speak with the owner who was busy. I let them know at the time of payment and they offered to go deeper I passed. Had high hopes will go back to el Cortez.m to get bbs. I always have used got towel and then oil hot towel and then a shave soap and get much closer shaves. The biggest disappointment was it irritated my skin and after th1st. 25% it wasn’t comfortable . I usually fall asleep during a hot shave. So it might just be Heidi. But am leary to go back. I will update after calling back tomorrow

Experiencia fantástica: My beard is all I've got going for me in the hair department, and since moving to Vegas in 2020, I haven't found a barber who could get it right - until today. After looking online for "best beard barber in Vegas" and seeing THE BUTCHER at 1905 Barbershop recommended a few times I decided to give him a shot. I'm glad I did! I explained what I haven't been happy with in terms of my beard's appearance, and he was able to explain why it was happening and what we needed to do to fix it. After a thorough brushing and combing to really bring it all out, he got to work trimming, shaping, sculpting until a glorious beard emerged from the chaos. He even brought my mustache forward, which wasn't something I'd thought to do. Once he was done, he showed me how to style it and maintain it properly - something none of my previous barbers had done, and seeing it in person on MY beard was more helpful than the YouTube videos I'd watched. Is he the cheapest in town? No. Is my beard worth the extra money? Absolutely! It took 5 years, but I found a barber I'm truly happy with. Glad to support a small, local business, and bonus points for the decor - VGK, Harry Potter and Star Wars abound! Added a before and after pic for reference.

The theme and attention to detail is what got me to book an appointment but the way I was treated will make me continue coming. The receptionist was so kind and nice while I was waiting. She made the waiting area fun with light conversation. They also had drinks and snacks which I thought was above and beyond. I booked an appointment online with Marko and it was quick and easy with the option to pay online or in person which is nice. I got text reminders and was able to check in quickly once I got there. Marko has a great attention to detail and took his time even though he was cutting a kids hair. He did an amazing job and was kind and patient. They offer temporary hair color which is a nice little tough and even have the certificate for first haircuts. This place does it all. The prices are great but the service is amazing!

Experiencia negativa: It used to be my go-to barbershop until today. Booking time is 4:00 pm (10/5/25). I came with my kiddo and we were waiting by 4:20. We wasted our time, nobody cares. Then we left. Later I got the “no show” notification. It’s your barber “no show”, not me. Ps: another lies. I never booked another barber/haircut after my review.

Experiencia negativa: I went in on Sunday (10/5) for a haircut, but it wasn’t what I asked for or expected. The barber went way too short, and now I’ll need a new style to fix it. On top of that, the barber smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which made the experience uncomfortable. I sent a message through their website the same day, called Sunday with no answer, and called again today (Tuesday) leaving a voicemail, still no response. I’m not planning to go back but overall the lack of communication and attention to detail was disappointing.

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend Tee1only at 1905 Barbershop! He got my 7-year-old in right away and had a lot of patience doing a child’s cut. He was very friendly and knew how to style curly hair. The shop was very clean and had suckers for the kids. We will definitely be back to see Tee!!

You can tell a lot of thought went into creating a space where people actually want to hang out, not just get a haircut, and the owner is down-to-earth, passionate about his craft, and clearly takes pride in building something special. 5/5

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to both J and Jax for my cuts, and they’re both top-tier barbers. Javi is my main guy, but Jax has cut me a few times too — every time the fade comes out clean and the attention to detail is spot on. You can tell they both take pride in their craft. Highly recommend either of them if you want a fresh, consistent cut every time.

Experiencia negativa: Stylist barely communicated with me. Cut wasnt as good as previous barber. Wasn't a terrible experience but not 5 star material and not worth the price. Wont be back.

Experiencia fantástica: It was my first time coming here I had an appointment set up for 9:30 oct 1 my barbar was running behind but when he got to me he apologized for getting to me pass my appointment. My barber was entertaining and he did a great job I had a wedding coming up so I didn’t know what type of haircut to get so he gave me his recommendation and went for it. Something new for me. He asked me to come back on my wedding day oct 3 and had the owner touch me up and tending to me on my big day. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!!my experience overall all was great. Hope to see you guys again and I pray god gives you all many blessings of this day.

Experiencia negativa: If you enjoy a “bro” atmosphere this is your place. However, I don’t go to get a haircut to hear customers and the barber throw down F-bombs left and right. Unprofessional for sure. To top it off, my haircut was short of average. Certainly don’t get all the good reviews.

Experiencia fantástica: So I am a new client with my 3 boys. Amanda is not only an amazing barber, but is the first to instantly make my 2 youngest comfortable. As well as making them look like rockstars. Asks all the right questions and cuts perfectly including them in the full process. My cut always ends in other clients at the shop, commenting on how good it looks. Aside from that, the conversation that flows is as easy as sitting in my own living room. Amanda, Baca, Josh and Tee (who where the closest to Amanda’s station) we just B.S.’d about everything and nothing. It is so rare to find a shop as professional and inviting as 1905. If you’re looking for a new spot to get tightened up, this is the place. Myself and kiddos can’t wait for the next round in a few weeks. Thank you to the full staff here at 1905

Experiencia fantástica: I've been getting my cuts with Baca for over 14 years now, and he is the only guy that I will go to. He always hooks me up with the cleanest cuts and beard trims. He has a high, versatile ability and skill to do different cuts, since I do like to switch it up a bit at times. I highly recommend Baca to anyone that needs a haircut and beard trim! I'm telling you guys, whatever you need, he can do it. The shop itself is also a great place to visit. It's always clean, great great service and staff, and the coffee and drinks are a plus.
