I didn’t know what to expect with this shop, but first things first: The immediate energy, before the clippers even touched the hair, I knew I was coming back here. A barber that is full of optimism and care for those he meets is rare to find. Not only that, I’m active duty military and this is the best military cut of all time. Prior to my arrival I had called Louie who called me back quickly. And while he doesn't take appointments he was more than happy to walk me through the best time to arrive to make sure my haircuts were done in time. With that advice I arrived both times with very little to no wait time. Louie is an amazingly talented barber with a strong attention to detail and one of the nicest individuals you will meet. But I called the number on the sign, and he called back, saying he would be back soon and that I would be first. A man of his word, Louie called me when he returned. I showed up, and Louie greeted me like we had known each other for years. Louie was friendly, knew exactly how I wanted my haircut, and got right to work. Experiencia fantástica: I called Louis barberchop after my grandson got the worst haircut ever from another place.. Louis answered the phone and right from the start he was super kind and engaging. I told him what happened and I was asking about prices and he said you know what just bring him and I’ll fix it and I’ve got you !!! (how often these days does that happen?) I took my grandson in to see him and he was the most energetic, personable, kind, upbeat, human being that I’ve met in a long time.. Not only that, he gave my grandson a super awesome hair cut. Experiencia fantástica: I walked straight here after getting a horrible hair cut as soon as I walked in he instantly knew I came from a bad barber. Hooked me up with one of the most fire cuts imaginable. Was super welcoming felt like I was hanging out with family. He was closing and stayed open just to fix me up. The shop is a collection of memories from the people he’s touched which is super dope. Very military friendly and gave me some of the best advice to go through life with. 10/10 I will never go anywhere else after the experience I had here.

We’re lucky enough to be just down the street, but you better be sure that this is my son’s permanent barber if he ever moves. My son used to dread getting hair cuts but now he’s asking me to go see Louie before he’s even ready. My son not only loves the way Louie cuts his hair but he truly enjoys the energy and friendly connection, I know, he brings to every client. As a mom, it feels good to not have to drag my son to what used to feel like a chore. I couldn’t be happier we found him. He deserves all the stars! A big shout out to LOUIE!! Experiencia fantástica: Louie’s BarberChop is an experience. He brings a ton of high energy, is really passionate in his craft, and really gets to know his clients that have been coming for years. I came in for a scissor cut, but I tagged on a beard trim. Phenomenal attention to detail. He hit me with a razor cut on my neck, free hand on the beard trim, and made sure I liked it before I got out of his chair, offering to tailor it if I wanted to. Before and after photos below.
