Fantastic experience: Took my 5 year old here last night and what a fantastic experience! Jeremy was great with him and did an awesome fade. Everyone who worked there was super friendly, offering us water and snacks. Will definitely be going here from now on!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been getting my haircut at fade stars by Jeremy since 2016! Both Jeremy and Jorge have never disappointed me and the whole entire shop is just a vibe. All the barbers are friendly and we always have funny, engaging conversations. I will probably never get my haircut anywhere else as long as I live in Illinois lol

Fantastic experience: My barber was Leo. The haircut overall was great. The fade was super crisp and clean, didn’t have any patches or bald, thinner spots in it at all. He gave me a mid taper, and it wasn’t too high or too low. The trim he gave me was the perfect length, and he cleaned the front and top up without it looking too short. I’m definitely coming back here again, and I’m going to request him to cut my hair when I do come.

Positive experience: Not a bad barbershop, but it seems like the barbers do not really listen to what you’re asking for. They sort of do their own thing. My son went in for a simple trim when we couldn’t get into our normal Barber. He showed several photos of what he was trying to achieve, and by the time he walked out, his hair was completely chopped off. He was extremely upset as this was nowhere near the style he had asked for. At the prices that they are charging they really need to take the time to understand what their clients are asking for, and make sure that they are satisfied at the end.

Fantastic experience: I’ve tried to learn how to braid my own hair for awhile now and still can’t manage to get the hang of it so it was super nice to be able to go here and get French braids done for me. The shop is super clean, very easy to find, and Crystal is the best! If you need your hair done for events and can’t manage to do it for yourself I highly suggest booking an appointment with Crystal! The amount of compliments I got on my braids was immaculate and the amount of confidence they gave me was such a plus! Thank you Crystal, I will be coming back ! :)

Fantastic experience: This is, by far, the best barbershop in town and I am willing to bet it’s also the best in the suburbs. The staff here is always welcoming, professional, and clean. They make getting a haircut a relaxing experience rather than just a “thing to do” on the errands list. I’ve been going here for about 5 years now and NOT ONCE have any of the barbers ever been unprofessional nor have I ever been a witness to any unprofessional behavior or language by anyone at the shop. George and his team really know how to make me and my family feel welcomed every time we step into this place. Gladly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: So my barber George C. Moved here. I really like this establishment. Everyone here smiles, jokes, has positive energy, the music is fresh, the whole environment is just what you would want from a modern barber shop. I see people of all walks of life here young to old. It’s more of a younger environment but that clearly doesn’t stop people which is great I think. The bathroom is always clean. The stations and floor are, too! Also, as a regular I get greeted by multiple people all the time - the owner, other barbers, the gal at front desk, they all welcome you. I feel this is a great place to get your ears lowered

Negative experience: Went in twice and both times the barber didn’t listen to what i wanted. Didn’t even fade like i asked and each side of my head looked different… barber was to busy dancing and being on his phone and didn’t pay attention to anything I said. Not coming back

Fantastic experience: Jorge runs a well established barbershop with superior customer service. I love the fact that I can schedule my appointment ahead of time without the wait time. The vibe and environment set in the shop is outstanding. Everything is very clean upon arrival and greeted warmly with a smile everytime I come in. All protocol were in placed during the COVID-19 phase. Glad I found a barber that cares for the client and their safety.

Fantastic experience: A true barbershop in the city with a very diverse clientele base. 90% of the barbers have been there since they first opened up some years back. Walks ins are accepted,but I suggest making an appointment online.

Positive experience: Had a great beard and haircut here. Admittedly, this was my first barber work done. It was a good experience, shop was busy and still saw me as a walk-in. Great chatter amongst patrons and barbers alike. It was fun. The only complaints I have are that there were several kids and adults disregarding masking, just not the right time for that. Second and more importantly, the guy I had kept spinning me in the chair rather than moving himself - at all. I got nauseous enough to where I was very close to saying something and had to focus far away to stop from puking. I do have some inner ear issues, but I didn't see anyone else getting spun so much. Either way, lots of good cuts I was seeing happening. I'll definitely be back but will see a different barber.
