Fantastic experience: Got basically a transformation here from long and curly to a superb fade. My hair is especially tricky but Johnny took care of it no problem, asking me questions throughout the process to make sure I was satisfied. 5 stars no doubt about it.

They had me in and out in less than half an hour with a fantastic cut, and I have long, thick hair. The barbers are always really personable and helpful. Fantastic experience: Came in about 1 year ago with a mop on my head. Nearly 2 years of growth, Michael cleaned up real good a made me all pretty. Recently moved to cda to after change work locations but the drive is worth the cut, and ill keep coming back. Clean shop, nice crew, and a fridge full of red bull.

Negative experience: I’ve had great experiences with Kevin and Thomas — both are excellent barbers. Unfortunately, one employee named “GTO” makes this shop extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable to visit. During my very first haircut, he stood halfway inside the room smoking a cigarette, blowing smoke indoors, and flicked the cigarette aside before cutting another client’s hair. The entire room reeked, and even the other barbers complained. They told me this happens often but they stay quiet because he’s close with the owner. They also mentioned that he drinks multiple beers a day on the job from the shop fridge. This is not a 21+ establishment, and there’s no liquor license. After I left a voicemail for the owner about the smoking, GTO personally called me — not the owner — claiming to be the owner, which other barbers confirmed is not true. He made excuses instead of apologizing, and told me he reviewed camera footage to get my number, which was extremely unprofessional and unsettling. A few days later, during my son’s haircut, he again inserted himself into a situation that didn’t involve him, and his behavior escalated. When we returned to get my son’s haircut fixed, he confronted me outside, calling me “bud,” appearing possibly intoxicated, shaking, slurring his speech, pacing, and even squaring up on me like he wanted to fight. Completely unacceptable. This shop has talented barbers, but allowing someone like GTO to act this way — smoking indoors, drinking on the job, intimidating clients, and pretending to be management — is going to destroy the business. Families deserve a safe, clean, and professional environment.

Negative experience: I got online set up an 8:30 appointment to get my haircut when I walked in I was told they were closed I inform the person I spoke to that I had an appointment he was very rude and says well not for certain people told me to take a seat at about 8:40 he asked me what my name was he said that he was the person that was going to cut my hair due to the rude manner I was spoken to and the fact I'd already sat there for 10 minutes and he didn't even know who I was obviously didn't care I informed him as I was walking out that I made an appointment for a reason and I wasn't going to sit while he was cutting someone else's hair one and done for me

I have thick curly hair which has had many barbers turn me down as “it’s too complicated”. Caleb was not only happy to see me but also did a stellar job. I am beyond grateful for his skills and am happy to say I found my barber :) I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted going in and Caleb was super patient and helpful. The whole team at mavericks is amazing and I’m never going anywhere else!

Positive experience: I've had my hair cut here before and haven't had any issues with that. I'm frustrated because I made an appointment for 1200 and made it clear in my appointment notes I may be late. Walked in at 1203 and the person who was supposed to cut my hair had already started on someone else. I made this appointment over my lunch break meaning I had no time to waste so unfortunately I left without getting my haircut. I understand the location was busy during the time but it's a bit ridiculous to give up and appointment spot after 3 minutes. Really disappointed and I don't think I'll be coming back to this location in the future.

I called Jonny at Mavericks Men Hair cuts (liberty Lake Location) And told him I was at working at the Spokane fair as a Vendor and needed a haircut Bad. Only problem was he had to come to the fair to do my haircut and i needed him to get her at 6:30 am. He said no problem and he arrived at 6:15 am the next morning and cut my hair in the fairgrounds parking lot ! Not only did he give me a great haircut but he went over and above to take care of me. Second, GTO checked afterwards to be sure everything was even and laid right. Third, he showed me exactly where the cowlicks were and gave me great advice on how to make sure they didn't make my hair look funky from cutting it the wrong way. GTO loves what he does and does it with amazing skills. I think I have finally found a regular barber again.

Negative experience: This was about a year ago, but every time I get my haircut I always bring up getting my haircut here. They messed it up so bad that when I got my haircut somewhere else a few days later they gave me a discount because they felt bad, and that was after my mother had tried to fix it haha. They also had zero interest in any conversation, or general hospitality’s. Literally just pointed to where I pay.
